I am selling my own personal car, a 2005 Porsche Cayenne Turbo.

It has 116,000 miles and will go higher as its a daily driver.

I have had this car for a year and half, selling it to go to a smaller vehicle.

If you are looking at this car, you know all about the Cayenne Turbo. It is a monster with 450hp out of a twin turbo V8.
Very fast SUV that will embarrass most sports cars!!

Car just had an oil change recently with Mobil 1 Full Synthetic oil.
Last year the car had the dreaded driveshaft knock, i had the driveshaft replaced with a Vertex Auto driveshaft, which is the highest rated replacement for these cars.
Coolant pipes were replaced not long after, as a preventative measure as the plastic ones are known to burst.

-Air Suspension is fully functional in all modes.
-All Body Panels have original paint. Car has never had any paint on it anywhere!!
-Seats are in great shape, driver seat has minimal wear. This is a highway mile car.
-Aftermarket Parrot Bluetooth system
-17mm OEM Porsche rear spacers
-OEM front bumper Euro Side Markers
-professionally tinted rear tail lights...looks mean!

I put this up there with my 911's I've had over the years in reliability. Very reliable car, and will put smiles on your face every day!!

You wont find another Cayenne Turbo with 100k+ miles in this condition. Bid with Confidence, this is an amazing car!

This is why we love the Porsche 911 reimagined by Singer

Tue, 11 Nov 2014

In the world of restomods, Singer Vehicle Designs is inarguably one of our absolute favorites. The company, founded by rocker Rob Dickinson, has made its name as an obsessive constructor of vintage, built-to-order Porsche 911s with modern internals and beautiful accouterments.
Xcar has put together a lengthy interview with Dickinson, covering the source of his fascination with the 911 and his passion for automotive design, before falling into his rock-and-roll days with his band Catherine Wheel. He also covers how he got into the world of modifying Porsches, rather than just restoring them. There's much, much more in the video, though, and we promise, you won't want to miss it.
Take a look.

Petrolicious details why the Porsche 911 is something special

Thu, 26 Sep 2013

The Porsche 911 is a special car, if for no other reasons than it's been continuously produced since 1964, with nearly every generation regarded as being at or near the top of its class. But why the rear-engined icon has done so well among enthusiasts and regular drivers alike can't always be explained easily. To truly understand the 911, you have to experience the whole package, and that means driving one.
While just about every publication has raved about the Porsche, commercial director, race driver, photographer and 911 owner Jeff Zwart explains to Petrolicious why he was drawn to the legend as a young child, and why he still loves them today.
Zwart's professional and personal life are inextricably linked to the 911, and hearing him talk about the car and its history makes for fascinating viewing. Watch the video below to hear Zwart's story and see him drive a couple examples from his collection: an early 911 and the 964-generation Carrera 4 he won Pikes Peak with for the first time - a car that happens to be equipped with the 959 Paris-Dakar's fascinating torque-split transmission. Enjoy!

Jaguar F-Type coupe to cost more than convertible?

Tue, 30 Jul 2013

Jaguar may price the much-rumored F-Type Coupe above the F-Type Convertible, if a report from Australia's Drive is to be believed. What makes Jag think that such a pricing strategy would work? Porsche. Take a look at the German manufacturer's consumer site, and you'll notice that the Boxster is less expensive than the Cayman, despite being essentially the same car.
It's a fair point, and a price premium does a good job of emphasizing the sporting chops of the coupe over the open-air experience that normally entitles convertibles to higher MSRPs. It's unclear just how closely Jaguar will follow Porsche's example, though.
Both the Cayman and Cayman S boast an extra ten horsepower over a Boxster or Boxster S, and while this bump in grunt is negligible in every situation but an argument over which is "best," it isn't something to be ignored in the F-Type, particularly as cranking more power out of its supercharged engines should be a rather simple matter.
