Up for sale is my 2005 Porsche Boxster in Basalt Black Metallic with black leather interior. Car runs great and has been well maintained. Full synthethic oil changes and serpentine belt completed through the Porsche dealership. Manual 5 speed transmission and clutch shifts good. Lots of upgrades including Fabspeed exhaust (truely makes the car sound like a high end exotic), European clear sidemarkers, 18" Black plasti-dipped lobster fork Porsche wheels, 6000k HID headlights, LED white Porsche license plate lights, Yellow Porsche OEM calipers, and Sony 7" touchscreen stereo with built-in Bluetooth and Pandora. Car is my daily driver and currently has approximately 63,252 miles. Mechanically runs well and paint is still very glossy. Car turns heads everywhere and will not disappoint. Please do not expect to purchase a brand new Porsche as this car is pre-owned. There is normal wear and tear as any vehicle has. Pictures should tell the story pretty well. Happy bidding!

Porsche Cayman GTS in track battle with 996 GT3
Wed, 09 Jul 2014Here's your tough question of the day: Would you rather drive a new Porsche Cayman GTS or a slightly older, 996-era Porsche 911 GT3? Certainly, both cars have their plusses. The Cayman is the more modern proposition, sure, but the GT3 is, well, a GT3. So yes, it's a tough decision.
If you're one of the lucky souls that have to make that choice, then this video from Evo should prove pretty helpful. It's a track battle, starring Jethro Bovingdon with a new GTS and an old GT3.
Calling the GTS "fantastically agile" and "fast, but it's also hilariously good fun," Bovingdon bangs home a solid lap time of 1:05.2 before switching to the GT3. It's remarkable to see just how dated the 996-generation 911 looks after viewing the newer Porsche, and from where we sit, it's further proof that the old car's headlights are something that's best forgotten. Styling qualms aside, though, can the GT3 keep up with its racy younger cousin?

Watch Carrera Cup driver Connor de Phillippi's first lap of the N"urburgring
Thu, 23 May 2013American race driver Connor de Phillippi was recently added to the roster of Porsche Juniors, the arm of Porsche's factory racing program that develops new talent. The 20-year-old is contesting the Porsche Carrera Cup Deutschland series with FÖRCH Racing by Lukas Motorsport, and last weekend, he raced the series round at the Nürburgring. Starting 15th on the grid, de Phillippi would cross the line in ninth out of 32 finishers.
Courtesy of his in-car camera, you can watch his entire first lap in the video below - there's no music added, just engine whine during nine minutes of crests, turns, bumpy straights and that wicked Carousel. Enjoy.
