Every where you look this car is very clean. These cars where very expensive new and are a great value on the secondary market. This car comes with the Original Window Sticker and all the original booklets in the Glovebox.

It has always been very well maintained and cared for, and has always been pampered and never abuse, and it had to have been garaged it's entire life.

It is ready to be an everyday driver or be saved as a Weekend Toy.

The Exterior: is in very very nice condition. The Silver Metallic Paint with a hint of Blue (Meridian Metallic), has great shine and depth with only a few very minor rock chips, visible only under very close inspection. It is also a Power Top that works great and the top itself is in very good shape and has a completley clear back window.

It also has the 17" Upgraded Alloy Wheels, and comes with good Tires.

The Interior: is also in nice condition, The drivers seat shows no wear but has what looks like a few dy spots. Not really that noticable but wanted to desribe the car car as well as possible. It comes completely stock with, Cruise, A/C. It also comes with Power Windows and Power Locks, Power Top,Ect... It all works.

The pictures do not do this Boxster, justice, it is better in person.

The dash is in great condition and still has the Factory Stereo installed that sounds great. The carpet show little wear as do the Seats.

This Car runs and drives fantastic (Unblievably Well). It has great power and drives tight, and brakes straight and smooth. It comes with the 2.7L. 6Cyl Engine and Manual Transmission that makes this car a real pleasure to drive, and still gets good gas mileage. The car also with Porsche Stability Management.

Meet Buster, this 1968 Porsche racecar transporter from Mercedes

Thu, Dec 11 2014

If you're thinking about Porsche and Mercedes-Benz when it comes to motorsports, your first thought is probably on the two German brands battling on the track. However, for decades, whenever Porsche's factory team went to compete, a custom Mercedes was right along with them hauling the racecars. These days the truck lives in the Brumos Collection in Jacksonville, FL, and goes by the nickname Buster. However, its story goes back to 1968 when Porsche ordered two commercial vehicles from Mercedes and then handed them over to a Stuttgart-based outfitter for customization. The results were these racing transporters that hauled models like the 917 and 956 until the '80s. The other survived, too, with a place in Porsche's collection. Well-known racers in their own right, Brumos scooped up the transporter in 2003 and have kept driving it to vintage racing events. The interior now boasts the signatures of many of the great drivers from the era of this historic truck. Watch the video for the whole story on the Mercedes with a whole lot of Porsche inside.

See what the Chevy C7 ZR1 may be benchmarked against

Tue, 07 May 2013

One of the greatest things every Corvette has had going for it, and also one of the most re-used arguments against it, is its price-to-performance equation - long before the Nissan GT-R became the de facto Porsche 911 comparator the Corvette spent decades as Exhibit A. Depending on which side of the argument you stressed, supporters crowed about how much performance you got for how (comparatively) little, detractors carped on how little you got everywhere else in the bargain.
It appears Chevrolet is working as hard as ever to render the argument meaningless. Spy shooters at KGP captured a convocation of European birds of prey leaving the General Motors test center, and aimed at benchmarking the C7 Corvette ZR1. The road train comprised of two C7 Corvette Stingrays, a 2013 Corvette ZR1, McLaren MP4-12C, Ferrari 458 Italia, Audi R8 V10 Spyder and Porsche 911 Carrera S and it was last seen heading down the same kinked-up back roads used to hone the Corvette Stingray.
The C7-series ZR1 and its possible 700 horsepower are still a ways off. If it really is being positioned to compete with the celestial exotica in the testing group, could it be the first Corvette to regularly be the first answer to the question "Cost no object, which would would you rather have?"

Porsche's 959 is still poster-worthy after all these years

Thu, 24 Jul 2014

Today, we have the Porsche 918 Spyder. Before that, there was the Carrera GT. While both of those cars are dramatic departures from the traditional, rear-engine Porsche formula, they owe their very existence to another wild child of the iconic German brand - the 959.
Like so many of the great performance cars of yesteryear, the 959 was a homologation special, built just so Porsche could go racing in the clinically insane Group B rally series. Fewer than 400 959s hit the streets, but those that did were some of the most advanced cars of the 1980s. A rear-mounted, twin-turbocharged flat-six sent its power through a still-rare all-wheel-drive system, creating a race-inspired rocket that was, for a short time, the fastest production car on the planet.
Xcar has the story of the 959, from its inception to its conquest of the Paris-Dakar rally, which is interspersed with a drive of the legendary coupe. Scroll down for the full video.
