This is a 1987 Porsche 944 base coupe with an automatic transmission. I will attempt to describe everything as accurately as possible, but please, if you have any questions email me and I will get back to you as quickly as possible. First things first, I have only owned the car about 3 weeks, it was a bit of a "garage" find if you will. When I bought the vehicle it was not running, it would turn over but that was about it. I have gone through most everything on the engine cleaning and replacing parts as I have come across them. The following is what has been replaced, starter, distributor, plug wires, spark plugs, fuel pump, fuel filter, dme relay, vacumn hoses, speed and reference sensor, front sway bar bushings, and the AFM has been refurbished. The good news is that all those parts have gotten the car running and back on the road again, unfortunately there still seems to be a slight problem with the idle, occasionally the rpms will drop and the car will shut off. I have not had this happen while driving, only on initial start up before the car is warmed up, I have not had any issues once the car is warm. The only other issue mechanically that I am aware of is there seems to be a very slight leak somewhere in the power steering system, it has to sit for a few days to actually notice a wet spot on the ground but if you look under the car you can see some fluid on and around the pump. The car still drives and handles really well so it is probably just a seal somewhere or else it would not be working. All other flaws to the car are cosmetic, it does not have perfect paint or a perfectly straight body, while there is no rust or major damage to the vehicle it does have dings, scratches, and paint chips that could be expected of a 26 year old vehicle. I will try to get the best shots possible to show the areas I am talking about. Don't get me wrong, this is still a great looking car and I still get many looks and compliments driving around town. The interior is in pretty good shape with the exception of the drivers seat, the bottom of it will need to be replaced or reupholstered. The dash has the normal crack in it and the odometer has quit working which is pretty common in this model vehicle. The car does has an aftermarket head unit, power windows, power doorlocks, power sunroof, and power seat for the drivers side. The sunroof is missing the latches that secure it to the drive mechanism, these can be found online fairly cheaply. The tires on the car seem to be fairly new, they have lots of tread left on them.
Again, I think I have described the car to the best of my ability, I will let the pictures tell the rest of the story. The car has been a blast to drive for the short period of time that I have owned it, please email with any questions. I do have the title in hand and ready to go.
This car is a used car, so it is being sold as-is, with no warranty expressed or implied. Please understand that you are not buying a perfect car,, the price is reflective of that, it still needs some work to be perfect.
I will do my best to accommodate whatever shipping company the buyer chooses to use, I will not be responsible for shipping this vehicle, that is up to you.

Porsche bringing electric Pajun concept to Frankfurt?
Wed, Jul 22 2015France's L'Automobile magazine reports that a precursor to the long-rumored and much-discussed Porsche Pajun will come to the Frankfurt Motor Show. The reveal is being characterized as a "'connected' study that could well turn into a series model." Just seeing something at all, however, would be a major step. Pajun palaver has been splattered all over the Internet for more than three years, since back when it was going to come with a V6 to be an ICE challenger to the Audi A6, BMW 5 Series, and Mercedes E-Class. The intervening years have turned the rumormill up to Level: Sasquatch, and still we had no idea when we'd ever see a car that, at one time, was headed for showrooms next year. Then we got a bunch of reports at the end of last year about a swoopy electric sedan, accompanied by patent filings for novel electric and hydrogen fuel cell powerplants. This year, Porsche has been making noise in the US and Europe about EV and connected-car initiatives, and reports blossomed with giggly details concerning the Pajun, like a 300-mile range, potentially 600 horsepower, two electric motors, four-wheel steering, and a topological battery layout with "108 separate battery pouches." A more recent report posits a Tesla Model S-fighting 420 horsepower and a 265-mile range. So we hope L'Automobile is correct, because we can't wait to see the proper, sheetmetal inspiration for whatever the Pajun will be. Related Video:
Touring Italy in a classic Porsche will have you feeling continental
Wed, 13 Nov 2013It's hard to believe there was a time when a Porsche 911 didn't come to market with 400 horsepower. But as the latest video from Petrolicious reminds us, with this video of a 1968 911T, owned by Donato Maniscalco, that time wasn't so long ago.
You might think, being a distinguished man living in Italy, Maniscalco would be more enthused by a Ferrari, Maserati, or Lamborghini, but in reality, it was always Porsche that enamored the Italian as a boy. And it was that passion that led him to purchase the glorious 911T he's seen tossing about in this video.
Maniscalco goes into detail about what makes the old 911 such a legend, while also mentioning how he and the car participate in classic rallies and races. There's also some typically beautiful footage of the Italian countryside, as well. So take a look below for the latest video from Petrolicious.
Porsche to only build next Panamera in Leipzig?
Sun, 06 Oct 2013Manufacture of the next-generation Porsche Panamera could be moving, if a report from Reuters is true. The current-generation Panamera range has its bodies welded together and painted at a Volkswagen facility in Hanover before being shipped to Leipzig where final assembly takes place.
According to Reuters, Porsche is looking to cut VW out of the equation and focus production of the Panamera in Leipzig. While this could cost 800 of the 14,300 workers at Hanover their jobs, it's not entirely clear what Porsche stands to gain by the move. It recently invested 50- million euros (about $680 million at today's rates) on a paint and body shop for its Leipzig factory, ostensibly so the facility could have Macan production underway by that car's spring 2014 on-sale date. If the facility was also designed with next-generation Panamera production in mind, then Porsche's decision to put all of its eggs in one basket could make a lot of sense. It currently ships the semi-completed Panameras from Hanover to Leipzig, a distance of around 160 miles by road, and presumably it's a costly and time-consuming process.
The Leipzig factory produced 27,000 Panameras last year, although it's unclear just what its production capacity really is. Besides the Panamera and the upcoming Macan, the factory also builds the Porsche Cayenne.
