1978 Porsche 928 in Red with saddle interior. California car. This car is all original and runs great. New tires and battery. I bought this car for my brother in law a couple decades ago. After 15 years he finally used up the clutch so I brought it to Louisiana and put a new clutch in it (but not throw out bearing and pressure plate) I parked it in my warehouse, and just found it way in the back after sitting for what seems like years. It fired right up. This car has never been under water, or burned or wrecked notwithstanding a hand size dent in the quarter panel which I pushed out when I first bought the car for him in San Diego decades ago. You can see photos. Vin number is in photos as well. The Porsche 928 was the best engineered car in the world, with nothing else even close to it. It never became the sought after car Porsche would have liked, but I have never seen a better engineered 4 seater in my life. This is not a museum car by any means, but it is not an old outside beater either. It is the best example of the first year 928 I have ever seen, and it is not molested. It is 35 years old! It has no rust, most of the car being aluminum. 5 speed manual. No trades. All inspections before bidding, as is where is, non refundable deposit, we help with shipping but buyer pays shipping. I have California title in hand.

Ferrari return to Le Mans looking more likely?
Wed, 18 Dec 2013Statements made by Ferrari president Luca di Montezemolo may indicate that the Italian brand could return to a form of racing it's been absent from for 40 years - prototype racing. That's right, LMP1 could see a factory Ferrari team for the first time since 1973, if a report from ESPN F1 is to be believed.
"We have won with the 458 GTE, but I also quite like the idea of racing at Le Mans in the highest category: who knows, maybe one day we can return and win, say thanks and come home," Montezemolo said. "Maybe we should give it some consideration..."
These seemingly idle, off-hand comments might not hold much water, were rumors about Ferrari's return to prototype racing not swirling as recently as August. There's also the fact that the upcoming, 1.6-liter, turbocharged V6 being used for Formula One complies with the Automobile Club de l'Ouest's own LMP1 regulations, according to ESPN. Finally, Ferrari returning to Le Mans might also explain this video of a camouflaged Ferrari LaFerrari testing a new turbocharged engine, which we showed you a few weeks back. There's a fair chance that what we're actually seeing in that video are the early stages of a new Ferrari prototype testing.
