This is my baby, I'm selling it because I just don't have the time to drive it anymore. I bought it from a fellow in Florida, It has never seen rain, garage kept. This car is made from aluminum, and does not rust. Paint is in great shape, and would consider it an 8.5 / 10. The engine is an all aluminum block, and runs like a top. Has a new timing belt, rebuilt water pump, new belt rollers, new console over lay kit, new shift handle, new oil pipe, new ignition cap and rotor, new plugs, Alpine CD player, trans rebuilt prior to me getting it, I had a trans tune up done on it, recent 4 wheel alignment, new sending unit, clean car fax, 996 wheels, with plenty of tread on the tires. This car is a blast to drive, and turns heads everywhere I go. I have taken it to small car shows, and took best import in one, along with many people admiring it. Interior is great! No rips, a small dash crack on the drivers console, can only see from the outside, and if I were to do anything else to the car I would find a pair of used interior quarter panels and swap them out. Years in the Florida sun, wrinkled the edges. Tinted windows make it hard to see. Will organize shipping for the winner. $500 non refundable deposit upon winning, and remainder within 3 days via cash or cashier's check. Will take paypal for the deposit. Buyer responsible for shipping costs, And I will do what I to help coordinate the pickup. I have a youtube video of the car as well at the following link: http://youtu.be/zM07ChrUptc ( cut and paste into your browser) |

Porsche Macan to debut at LA Auto Show
Wed, 29 May 2013Auto Express reports Porsche will unveil the upcoming Macan SUV at this year's LA Auto Show. Citing an unnamed "insider," AE says that the five-door will bow with engines, suspension and interior architecture that will help differentiate it from its Audi Q5 chassis mate. Big shocker there. We've been hearing the same line since we first caught word of the Macan back when it was still rolling around under the Cajun name. The report does shed some light on the model's pricing, however. That same insider says the Porsche Macan will carry a price tag of 36,000 pounds.
What does that mean for American buyers? Do some quick math based on current conversion rates, and average UK and US prices, and we come up with a sticker of roughly $42,000 here in the land of the free. That fits in line with the rest of the company's stable, with the larger Cayenne starting at $49,600.
Still, we'll wait for more concrete word before jumping behind the AE report wholeheartedly. The 2013 LA Auto Show gets going in late November.
Porsche Boxster spied in the buff
Thu, Aug 6 2015Porsche is preparing a significant update to its entry level Boxster convertible, and while visually this might appear to be a simple refresh, the changes are more than skin deep. Following a number of rumors, Porsche will finally make the jump to turbocharged engines on a broad scale, and it starts with this new Boxster. According to our spies, it's the larger side intakes featured on this prototype that give away its smaller, force-induced flat-four engine. The dual exhaust pipes, meanwhile, say Boxster S to us, rather than just the basic model. Beyond the mechanical changes, this marks the first time we've seen the new Boxster completely free of camouflage. We can see that Porsche's stylists – famous for revolutionary designs slowly tweaking the same style for decads on end – adjusted the look of the front and rear fascias. We like the more aggressively canted headlights, which get the same four-pointed LEDs as its big brother, the 911. The slimmer taillights are a minor improvement on the inoffensive lamps fitted to the current car, and serve to take some attention off the all-plastic exhaust surround, which is much more simply styled than the current car's. It should also be noted that the aesthetics featured on the new Boxster are very, very likely to be transferred directly onto the new Cayman. You can check out our full gallery of shots of the all-new, totally undisguised Boxster in the gallery up top. Expect to see the new roadster around this time next year, with a debut at the 2016 Geneva Motor Show likely. Related Video:
VW internal investigation finds 'no evidence' against suspended engineers
Tue, Oct 6 2015Volkswagen is still working out the chain of events that led to emissions-evading software being installed in 11 million diesel vehicles worldwide and deciding who was responsible for the treachery. So far, the German automotive giant's internal investigation hasn't publicly named many suspects, and three suspended executive-level engineers have been found not to be culpable in the wrongdoing, according to an anonymous insider speaking to Reuters. VW knows that the software began being installed in the EA 189 engine in 2008. The internal investigation has found that the emissions-evading tech was created because the powerplant was found to fail US standards. Plus, the diesel mill wasn't meeting cost targets, according to Reuters. The automaker responded by suspending over 10 employees, but three top engineers among them might not have been involved. Those put on leave include Heinz-Jakob Neusser from VW, Ulrich Hackenberg from Audi, and Wolfgang Hatz who led Porsche's research and group-wide engine development. The internal detective work hasn't turned up any evidence against these three men. In addition to VW's own inquires, government investigators in both the US and Germany are taking a serious look into the company's actions, too. So far, the automaker is setting aside about $7.3 billion to pay to fix the vehicles with the evasive software. Depending on what authorities find, the costs could grow quickly. Beyond the financial implications, the scandal has led to a serious shakeup in VW's corporate structure. Related Video:
