Description:
You are looking at a super clean, very original Porsche 924S. You don't see many 924s these days, especially ones as nice and original as this. We have all service history dating back all the way to 1990. The paint and body is all original, rust-free, and accident-free. There are a few marks in the paint as well as some chips, nothing you wouldn't expect for a car of this age. The front valance is scratched and tweaked, which you can see in the photos. The upholstery is all original and in near-perfect condition. The seats and dash have always been covered and are also near perfect. The dash is free of any cracks or distortion. The car runs and drives beautifully and sounds great. Even the A/C blows cold. Most 924s you see have been poorly cared for and need lots of work; this is not one of those cars. Please feel free to contact us with any questions you have.

WE OFFER IN-HOUSE FINANCING AT VERY COMPETITIVE RATES, SO PLEASE LET US KNOW IF THERE'S ANY WAY WE CAN HELP.

Preserving automotive history costs big bucks

Wed, 29 Jan 2014

$1.8 million is spent each year to maintain GM's fleet of 600 production and concept cars.
When at least two of the Detroit Three were on the verge of death a few years back, one of the tough questions that was asked of Ford, General Motors and Chrysler execs - outside of why execs were still taking private planes to meetings - was why each company maintained huge archives of old production and concept vehicles. GM, for example, had an 1,100-vehicle collection when talk of a federal bailout began.

Leno, Seinfeld and a Porsche 356/2 featured in latest CICGC

Sun, 19 Jan 2014

In the latest kaffeeklatsch known as Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee, Jerry Seinfeld pulls Jay Leno out of his garage for a trip to Jones Coffee in Pasadena, CA. The NBC funnyman we've lately seen driving two guest Porsches in his eponymous garage this time takes the passenger seat in a 1949 Porsche 356/2, one of early all-aluminum, hand-built coupes - still in 100-percent original condition - built in Gmund, Austria and nicknamed "Gmunds."
The comedy veterans have known one another for 35 years, so the episode is rich with stories of The Good Old Days. Leno says it is also the first time he's ever had a cup of coffee, and for obvious comedic reasons they start with the civet-stained beans made famous in The Bucket List. You can watch Leno take his first sip below, and have you haven't heard the joke about the goat and the anvil, scroll on down for a listen to that and one or two more jokes besides.

Evo sets up duel of Porsche 911s

Thu, 20 Mar 2014

What's better, rear-wheel drive or all-wheel drive? That question has occupied auto enthusiasts for years, and so far, we've not really had a solid answer one way or the other. Evo has opted to take another whack at this tough question by pairing a pair of Porsche 911s against each other for a track battle.
In one corner, we have the two-wheel-drive 911 Carrera S, complete with the lickity-split PDK transmission, a sports suspension and carbon-ceramic brakes. In the other corner, it's the all-wheel-drive 911 Carrera 4S in a much mellower spec, with a seven-speed manual, as well as standard brakes and suspension. While the results seem like they'd be a foregone conclusion, some very British weather is there to act as the great equalizer.
We've got the full video down below. Have a look, and let us know if you agree with Evo's results.
