I have a VERY SUPER RARE 1982 Porsche 924T turbo 5spd, 5 lug car in very very nice shape. The motor has been changed.I put all new gaskets in the whole motor before it was put in.Turbo works perfect and has K&N filter. It is in very good condition and a very clean car.Runs and drives great. Could use touch-ups,buff and some interior work. Dash is cracked from sun and rear carpet is faded.Seats are old but, still solid with no rips or holes. The rest of the interior is not that bad. I have the owners manual and window sticker from stoddard porsche, where it was purchased new. I have owned it for four years now. Car is worth around 7000 in fair condition from my research and there are only about 850 of these exact cars in the united states. Car is very fast and turbo boosts nice.It was never driven in the winter.Car is very clean.Has a few spots were paint flaked off and metal started to suface rust.Tires are good.Other then motor, car is all original.Just needs some TLC.Title is clean. All these cars were 4 speeds but this one is a super rare 5 speed car.Thank you and happy bidding.
Other extra options car came with were removable top and rear wiper and auto antenna and real leather sport seats and leather steering wheel cover.
I do have the original block, head, intake and fuel distributor that can go with car for extra money.Block just needs mill work, but not cracked.
I AM WILLING TO TRANSPORT THE CAR TO THE WINNING BIDDER FOR A FEE. FEE DEPENDS ON WERE CAR IS GOING TO.IF YOUR INTERESTED, THEN TELL ME WERE YOU LIVE AND ILL LET YOU KNOW HOW MUCH.
If you do the research, you will see how rare the 5 speed, 5 lug ones are and that there are NOT many of these in the united states. Most were 4 lug, 4 speeds.Hurry and buy now.
ALSO I'M THROWING IN THE BRAND NEW CAR COVER I BOUGHT FOR IT.

Jack Olsen built a Porsche 911 to drive every day and conquer Willow Springs
Mon, Dec 15 2014Almost two years ago we wrote about the 12-Gauge Garage Jack Olsen built to house his multifarious Porsche 911 - its 1972 bodywork hides four decades of Porsche parts, like the transaxle from a 1977 911 and the engine from 1995 911, for example. It weighs 2,400 pounds and has 272 horsepower, and Olsen uses it daily driving and for track days, the latter excursions featuring homemade, bolt-on aero parts. German magazine Auto Bild stopped by Olsen's house to look in on the Porsche called "Black Beauty II," and we get a few more details about the mods he's made, like swapping out for fiberglass body panels and welding Fuchs wheel centers to wider Corvette barrels so he could run different tires. Most importantly, though, Olsen divulges his passion for lowering his lap time at Willow Springs. Randy Pobst set the lap record for a production car around the 2.5-mile Big Willow track in a Porsche 918 Spyder at 1:23.54 during a Motor Trend test (the outright record, according to Willow Springs, is held by Michael Andretti at 1:06.050 in a CART car). Further down the list, Steve Millen drove a 415-hp 911 GT3 RS around the same track in 1:33.14 - a car 600 pounds heavier than Olsen's. Over the past 14 years of tinkering with his car, Olsen says his data shows his lap time is now down to 1:26.88, achieved on the day of filming the Auto Bild video. That time would put him in between the 1:26 flat posted by Dominik Farnbacher in a 608-hp Dodge Viper SRT-10 ACR and the 1:28.93 put up by Pobst in a 400-hp, 991-series 911. You can hear Olsen tell it in his own words in the video.
Robb Report chooses Porsche 911 as its Car of the Year
Thu, 21 Feb 2013Robb Report has picked the seventh-generation Porsche 911 Carrera S as its 2013 Car of the Year, saying the two-door captivated its judges with "agility, driving dynamics and balance." The German coupe bested 12 others who were also in the running - the impressive list of nominees included the BMW M5, Audi S8, Ferrari FF, Mercedes-Benz SL63 AMG and the Bugatti Veyron 16.4 Grand Sport Vitesse.
Judging involved more than just throwing darts at pictures on the wall, as the publication enlisted a panel of automotive experts to test drive each vehicle for close evaluation. The panelists included 100 members of the Robb Report Club (comprised of top corporate executives and influential readers), Editor-in-Chief Brett Anderson and automotive consultant Robert Ross. Full results of the competition will be revealed in the luxury magazine's March issue, hitting newsstands in about a week. Porsche says next Cayenne will be faster than Bentley Bentayga
Fri, Jan 23 2015Bentley and Porsche are both high-end marques under the same umbrella, and may even be collaborating on development of new models – but while they tend to take different approaches and go after different customers, that doesn't mean they can't share a bit of sibling rivalry. And that spirit of competition – even within the Volkswagen Group – looks to be coming to a head in the form of their upcoming luxury performance crossovers. For his part, Bentley CEO Wolfgang Durheimer promises that the brand's upcoming Bentayga sport-ute will (in its top spec with the W12 engine) be the fastest SUV on the market. But in speaking with Car and Driver, Wolfgang Hatz – who holds the Porsche R&D head office that Durheimer used to occupy – says the Bentley won't be king for long. Porsche just released the new Cayenne Turbo S in Detroit, touting it as the first SUV to crack the eight-minute barrier at the Nurburgring. And Hatz says that the next version will be even faster. "Our Cayenne is always very very quick. It is doing 300 km/h [186 mph]. I think if [Durheimer] is doing 2 to 3 km/h more, then why not? He's doing that with a 12-cylinder. Our car will be much quicker on the road." The next Cayenne is slated to use a new generation of engines, and according to Hatz, will benefit from the same (if not more) weight loss as the new Audi Q7 with which it will share its platform. That sounds like a winning combination to us. That is, at least, for fans of performance crossovers. For those who aren't, Porsche promises it won't be bolstering its lineup with any new ones. Apparently the Cayenne and the smaller Macan are enough. Nor will Zuffenhausen slot anything bigger than a V6 into the Macan, according to the report. While Porsche's baby crossover will surely continue to get faster with new iterations, the Cayenne will always remain the performance flagship of its SUV range.
