Vehicle has a Chalon kit installed by the previous owner with dark grey exterior color, paint condition is not one of the best but very presentable with some minor blemishes as any used vehicle has. The engine is a 2.0 litter, 4 cyl. with 5 spd. manual transmission; engine is running very strong with transmission shifted smoothly and without grinding, no leaks from either the engine or the transmission. Suspension system is very solid at every sharp cornering with speed and very stable at normal driving; and, I was told by the previous owner that it was beefed up for crossroad although there was no record for such modifications. Car has all tires at approximate 80%-90% new since I only use it as a weekend driver and the furthest trip taken is around 60 miles one way; all mounted on the polished 912 Fuchs: the front tires are Nankang 205/50/R15, rear tires are Dunlop 245/50/ZR15. Black vinyl seats are in good condition with the exception of the drive-side seat has two tears in the seat cushion, along the seams; black carpet is in very good condition and will last another while; dash board has dash-cap installed by the previous owner and has a crack in it; the removable targa top is in good condition with new seal installed last year; door panels are in good condition; door lock on the passenger side needs some work since it has to be locked from the outside and open from the inside; cup-holder installed on both sides; quick-released steering wheel installed as an additional theft protection device; removable cd/radio with blue tooth capability installed; new battery with quick disconnect installed; new tag will be paid and good until 9/2014 as it being listed; major tune was done last year by a Porsche mechanic.

Singer offers first look at reimagined Porsche 911 Targa in the US
Sat, Aug 15 2015We're big fans of Singer's work. The company's "reimagined" Porsche 911s mix the best of what's old with modern technology, and the end results are simply fantastic to behold (and to drive). At the Quail Motorsports Gathering – part of Monterey Car Week – Singer's take on the Porsche 911 Targa made its North American debut, after the car was first shown at Goodwood in June. The car shown here is the second Porsche 911 Targa reimagined by Singer, wearing a really striking shade of brown. Parked next to it was an example of the 4.0-liter 911 that we drove earlier this year. Seeing the two cars next to each other was really special – two of the finest examples of restomod 911s in one place. Singer also used this showing to debut a new carbon ceramic braking system. These new stoppers were co-developed with WP Pro Racing Brakes, and offer a 42-percent weight savings over Singer's standard units. Still, the best part of Singer's display is that brown Targa. Take a few minutes and have a look, in the gallery above. Related Video:
Magnus Walker turbocharges his love for the Porsche 911
Thu, 31 Oct 2013He's had his fill of early, long-hood Porsche 911s - he owns at least one from each model year, from 1964 to 1973 - so Magnus Walker, a fanatic of the Stuttgart, Germany-based automaker, recently set his sights on the early Porsche 930, as documented by this XCAR video called 'Turbo Fever.' Let us translate: pretty soon Walker will own all of the earliest, non-intercooled 911 Turbos - at least one from each model year, starting at 1975 and ending at 1977 (though the 1975 911 Turbo Carrera never officially was imported to the US by Porsche, so it'll be tougher to find one Stateside).
Any Porsche enthusiast can tell you why they love their car, and it often comes down to the small details that differentiate one model year from another. One of many examples is the mid-'80s 928. They look similar, but the basic difference between a 1984 Porsche 928 S and a 1985 928 S (US-spec) is two camshafts and 54 horsepower, though each car's V8 has its own pros and cons. We'll let Magnus Walker tell you all about the 930 and what makes the first three years special, as he's becoming quite the expert on early, air-cooled 911s. When the nearly 15-minute mini-documentary was filmed, which you can view below, he already had added four early 930s to his collection!
50th Anniversary Porsche 911 vs. Jaguar F-Type Coupe is a battle of beauty, brawn
Fri, 13 Jun 2014There can't really be a loser between the Jaguar F-Type Coupe R and the Porsche 911 50th Anniversary Edition. One might be better than the other, but if you're behind the wheel of either of them, you can't complain. In a new video, Motor Trend takes on the difficult task of determining which one of these European powerhouses is the best, not just in terms of raw performance, but also how they actually feel to drive.
The Porsche 911 is one of the perennial favorites of the motoring world. It just doesn't go away and always seems capable of challenging the top vehicles in its class. In this video, Motor Trend takes a look at the 50th Anniversary Edition model that celebrates that heritage while boosting power somewhat over the standard version.
The F-Type Coupe is an incredibly masculine car, MT describing it as "a British Corvette." The coupe's exterior lines are tautly stretched over its athletic body, and it's supercharged 5.0-liter V8 sounds like a demon's growl. Jaguar seems to have things right with its latest sports car.
