Up for bid is a 1995 Pontiac sunfire GT convertible,It has 96,386 original miles. It has grey cloth interior and it is automatic. Body in excellent condition with few scratches, red paint still shines after polish. The engine idles smooth and the transmission shifts smoothly as it should. The interior is in very good condition and the dash looks like new. All gauges, lights and electricals work. All glass in good condition. The car has been well taken care of. The power top works great with no leaks. It has rear glass not nylon. The brakes are good and so are the tires. It has the original owner's manual and spare tire. The a/c blows ice cold. It is a good solid car that can be driven anywhere. It drives very smooth on the highway at high speeds. It starts up everytime and runs great. Put the top down and enjoy the ride in the spring or summer. It has the original stereo that sounds good and It has anti theft device. The car needs nothing and ready to be driven anywhere. Very good on gas (35 to 40 MPG). It has the highest horse power of all sunfires(150 HP).The engine is a 2.3 liter 16 valve QUAD 4 DOHC which makes it the GT model. very few convertibles had these powerful engines. Abandoned automotive assembly plants, sure – but also former sports venues, like Tiger Stadium in Corktown, Roesink Stadium in Hamtramck, and the Silverdome in Pontiac. BMX rider Tyler Fernengel remembers going to see the Lions and Pistons play at the Silverdome in his youth, and competed there in Supercross as a boy. The stadium hasn't been used in years, but now, with his career just picking up, Tyler has returned to film this video – riding through its halls, jumping its stairwells and flipping over its grandstands and field. Wed, 15 May 2013When an old car or truck offers its dying breath in your driveway and you just don't have the financial or mechanical wherewithal to resuscitate it yet again, you traditionally have to go to the trouble of calling a flatbed or a tow truck to come haul it away. That usually helps to put a few bucks in your wallet and helps recycle some of the vehicle's parts, but the transaction doesn't seem as final or perversely satisfying as the dispatch service that this New Way Cobra Magnum garbage truck offers.
Okay, okay, so this refuse hauler isn't actually designed for this sort of thing, but it's oddly comforting to know that a sanitation truck can compact a hapless Pontiac Grand Am into oblivion.
