LOCAL PICK UP ONLY!
I bought this car in June 2011 and have only put 15k on it. I'm selling it because my husband is stationed in WA, and to be honest, it was a poor choice for such a cold/rainy climate. Body is in great condition other than a couple of very small dings from other people's car doors. Some small scuffs in the paint, pretty positive it can all be buffed out. Interior is in good condition, no rips or tears. Small scratches in the plastic here and there. Engine and transmission run great. Cold A/C, hot heat. Top works, I even have a plastic cover for it for when it's down. And a big one, there's no crack in the dash!!! Just inspected this month and good for a year. Yes the title is rebuilt, (THIS IS STILL A BLUE TITLE) but I have not had any issues with the car that are at all related to that. I bought the car from a licensed mechanic and I even have the paper that shows what needed to be replaced. There is nothing wrong with the frame as I have never had any issues with alignment, brakes, drive train... etc. I also have had no problem insuring this car. I'm still driving the car until I sell it so the actual mileage a little more or a little less than stated. The odometer just rolled over to 134K. Water pump replaced in June 2011 Bypass lines replaced June 2011 2 new tires Aug/Sept 2011 Radiator replaced in Feb of 2012 Weather seals replaced 2012 Starter replaced March 2012 Power steering line replaced Oct 2013 2 new tires Feb/March 2014 Heater core replaced April 2014 Thermostat replaced May 2014 EGR valve replaced May 2014 I do still have some of the receipts for the work done. Thanks for looking! Feel free to message me if you'd like more info or pics. |

Lutz says Washington killed Pontiac, next G6 was to be ATS derivative
Tue, 29 Oct 2013How many people think Buick or GMC should have gotten the axe instead of Pontiac? You can't see it, but I'm raising my hand. Autoweek reports that former Vice Chairman of GM, Bob Lutz, has indicated that things didn't have to end up the way they did.
"The Feds said, 'Yeah, how much money have you made on Pontiac in the last 10 years?' and the answer was, 'Nothing.'"
In a talk given at the Petersen Automotive Museum for the Inside the MotoMan Studio series, Lutz says "The Feds said, 'Yeah, how much money have you made on Pontiac in the last 10 years?' and the answer was, 'Nothing.' So, it goes. And when the guy who is handing you the check for $53 billion says, 'I don't want Pontiac, drop Pontiac or you don't get the money,' it doesn't take you very long to make up your mind." Lutz even added that the next-generation Pontiac G6 would have benefitted from the rear-wheel-drive platform of the Cadillac ATS. How awesome would that have been?

Jay Leno tries out a 1970 Pontiac GTO Judge that looks factory fresh
Tue, Jan 31 2017The latest machine to show up on Jay Leno's Garage is arguably the most iconic Pontiac GTO, the 1970 Judge. The example here is a radically red model and features all of the nifty Judge features, such as the mega-size rear wing, hood-mounted tachometer, and ram air hood scoop. The latter of which had a panel in the hood that would open up at full throttle to let in all that cool air from outside. The car is owned by the Wade Kawasaki, president of Coker Tires, a company that specializes in reproducing classic tires. Not surprisingly, his GTO features a set of the company's Firestone Wide Oval tires. That particular tire would have come with the car originally, but these new versions are built like modern radial tires, rather than the slippery bias-ply originals. The tires are indicative of how Kawasaki restored the rest of his Judge. Everything has been taken back to factory-spec. It has a stock, 400-cubic inch V8 that makes a supposedly underrated 366 horsepower, and it's complete with the chrome valve covers and foam intake seal. The tires are accompanied by exact replica GTO Judge wheels. The car even has the true, original interior. Somehow, the upholstery, dash, and other interior components survived in excellent condition. Check out the video above for more details on this flashy muscle car, as well as some reminiscing about the "good ol' days," and some history on the origins of the car's name. Related Video:
