Well the time has come for me to sell my baby. I've owned this car for 9 years but i need to sell it to fund another build. That said, I'm not tryin to get rich off this car like alot of people do when selling a vehicle. I'm asking what I feel is a fair price for this car. I know what it's worth and I would buy it for this price. That said, I will not take any less than $12,500 so please don't lowball me.
THE GOOD
This is a REAL ws6 car. It has stock heads that have never been off the stock bottom end making it a true cam only car. It also has the rare tan and black two tone interior that is in great condition for a 13 year old car. I have a huge folder full of receipts and documentation that comes with the car as well as the stock cam and valve train. This car was dyno tuned at texas speed after the cam swap (dyno sheets are included in paperwork). It made 394rwhp and 386rwtq thru a 12 bolt with 4:10's. These numbers were put down BEFORE the fast 90/90 setup, meziere ewp, 42# injectors, and more tuning. Below is a list of mods that I have done to the car over the years I've owned it.

Tires are 285 45 R17 Continental Contisport Extreme Contact up front and 315 35 R17 Mickey Thompson ET street radials rear
I'm sure there is alot more little things I'm leaving out.
THE BAD:
Unfortunately, an oilfield truck kicked up a 12" piece of a 2x4 which hit my front bumper. Thankfully the car was not badly damaged but the impact chipped the paint and put these ugly spider cracks throughout the paint on the bumper and license plate cover. the drivers side ground effect needs to be repainted because I accidently hit it with a jack and chipped the paint. Other than that and a few stone chips from normal driving the paint looks great.
There is a small hole in one of the lower AC lines from rubbing on the front swaybar so you'll need to patch it or get a new line to have AC. It still blows cold but you can hear something leaking from that tiny pinhole in the line.
The gauges are off due to the stock rear end being reinstalled. I'm trying to find someone local with tuning software to fix this.
The 6" flip out screen has a lose wire or something so it keeps turning off but the speakers work fine when the deck stays on.
There's a rip in the drivers seat.
Small oil leak from drain plug.
Please understand this is a 13 year old hot rod not a brand new $70,000 corvette... it has issues as I have explained. It's a great ride and gets a lot of attention. I love this car so it is tough for me to sell her. I put a lot of time, blood, and money into it. I've described it honestly and accurately as I can. It is for sale locally so I reserve the right to end the auction at any time.
I might be interested in PARTIAL trades as I need money for another build more than another car. Something bagged / air ride, 58-60 impala, 60's-70's cadillac, rat rod, lead sled, rock crawler, lowrider, No bikes or boats, No junk or projects.
Serious buyers feel free to message me with any questions or offers. No bullshit please. I don't care what you "internet mechanics" think of my car.

The prized golden 1965 Pontiac Hurst GeeTO Tiger is headed to auction
Sat, Apr 4 2020Once upon a time, a Pontiac advertising executive named Jim Wangers created a countrywide contest with this gorgeous 1965 Pontiac Hurst GTO serving as the grand prize. The contest was centered around "GeeTO Tiger," a song by musical artists The Tigers. A 19-year-old took home the golden muscle car at the time, but now anybody can buy the rare car through an upcoming Mecum auction. As a way to boost sales and awareness of the Pontiac GTO and its performance parts, Wangers partnered up with Royal Pontiac, George Hurst, and Petersen Publishing in 1965 to create a contest. Royal provided the car, Hurst dressed it up, and Petersen distributed the contest in publications across the country. In order to participate, people were asked to provide a reason why they wanted the car and identify how many times the word "tiger" was used in the promotional song "GeeTO Tiger" (pronounced G-Tee-Oh) by The Tigers. A 19 year-old kid named Alex Lampone from West Allis, Wisconsin, won the contest and took delivery of this jazzed-up GTO at the 1965 NHRA Indy Nationals. This content is hosted by a third party. The Tigers - GeeTO Tiger The prize car was completely kitted out and described by Wangers as "the nicest GTO you could put your hands on." It had more than 28 factory options, including a black cordova top, power windows, power steering, power brakes, a tilt steering wheel, a power driver's seat, dual-speed windshield wipers, a custom sport steering wheel, a rally gauge cluster, a push-button AM/FM radio with power antenna, and a Verba phonic rear speaker. What makes it stand out is the Hurst-inspired gold theme, which includes gold paint, gold mag wheels, and a gold-plated Hurst Shifter. Under the hood, this GTO has a Tri-Power 389 V8 engine that pairs with a four-speed manual transmisison. It also has a 3.55 Safe-T-Track rear axle and dual exhaust. Throughout the years, this car has exchanged hands many times and has undergone a few changes. It's been repainted, and the engine has also been rebuilt, but Mecum says it's otherwise highly original. Ony 59,000 miles have turned over on the odometer. The GeeTO Tiger Pontiac is scheduled to go up for auction in Indianapolis this June. Visit Mecum for more information. Check out the official 2013 Trans Am Hurst Edition commercial
Sat, 16 Mar 2013
The Poncho is dead. Long live the Poncho. Like certain other reoccurring personal maladies, the aftermarket community simply can't let the Trans Am go without another flare up. The guys at Trans Am Depot have worked up a quick commercial for their newest creation: The 2013 Trans Am Hurst Edition, and it watches pretty much like you'd expect it to. The footage is comprised of just about every TA male fantasy you can conceive of, from Daisy Dukes and white tank tops to tramp stamps, bikinis and ice cream cones. There simply aren't words for what you'll see below.
Of course, we like our T-Tops as much as the next guy. If you like what you see in the videos, you can pick up your very own TA by heading over to the Trans Am Depot site. The guys even have Chevrolet Camaro-based versions of the Pontiac GTO if the '77 TA treatment is too much for your tastes. Enjoy, but don't say we didn't warn you.
This KITT replica sold at auction for $32,500
Thu, Apr 23 2020UPDATE: This 1987 Pontiac Firebird Trans Am KITT replica officially sold for $32,500. Here's hoping the new owner has a blast throwin' it into Pursuit Mode. Let's get one thing straight right off the bat: This isn't a perfect KITT replica. The original KITT used in the Knight Rider TV series was based on a 1982 Pontiac Firebird Trans Am. The one you see above, which is currently for sale at auction site Bring A Trailer, is a 1987 model, and since it's a GTA edition, it has some extra body cladding that the smooth-sided television car lacked. That aside, most casual observers would probably never notice the difference, and even those who did (like us) are still likely to be impressed by the car's transformation. This KITT replica is powered by a 5.0-liter V8 engine mated to a four-speed automatic transmission. It ought to be fairly quick, though quite a bit shy of the fictional car's very fictional 300-mph top speed. We're not exactly Knight Rider experts, but some quick Google sleuthing suggests that the Knight Industries Two Thousand supposedly cost more than $11,000,000 to build in Hollywoodland. This one will surely command a significantly lower sum — as of this writing, it's been bid up to $18,000 with four days remaining on the auction. This content is hosted by a third party. There are several videos of the car that detail its modifications inside and out, but suffice it to say it seems to be a well-sorted replica. Here's hoping its new owner keeps it well clear of other KARRs. Related Video: This content is hosted by a third party. To view it, please update your privacy preferences.
