Here is a YouTube video of this Fiero. It was taken around September 27, 2013. http://youtu.be/AhQ3Iya-mB4
Below, I am going to try to list anything I can think of that may not be perfect, so to speak.
-The Fiero has been repainted prior to me owning it. And there is some very minor over spray (poor masking) on the trim.
-The new paint job is "NOT" perfect! But it does look very nice, even up close!
-The passenger door glass has large scratches in it from the old dew wipe (visible in video)
-The driver's door glass is loose as if missing one bolt (or one pivot point) inside the door.
-The plastic cover is missing from the driver's side interior door lock lever.
-The oil pressure gauge does not work. Very common Fiero problem. Supposedly mis-wired at the factory.
-Fuel gauge not accurate.
-Catalytic convertor definitely needs to be replaced. Outer covering is non existent.
-Engine has slight miss probably caused by 02 sensor sending wrong signals due to bad catalytic convertor.
-A/C needs to be charged and any possible leak fixed.
-Rear tail light lens has typical minor cracking.
-Tires are around 80% but have very fine dry rot cracks in the sidewalls from age.
-Missing wind deflector that is used when sun roof is removed. Normally stores under the front hood.
-Every day wear and tear.
The GOOD:
New paint (don't know age though)
New dew wipes
New l/f front caliper
New front rubber brake lines
New battery approximately 5/2013
New distributor
New ignition module
New sensor in air cleaner housing
New distributor cap
New 02 sensor
New speakers (4)
New after market stereo with remote
I don't know if this interior is original or new. But it is beautiful! No rips or tears!!!
There are probably many other new parts on this car. But most of the work was done before I bought it. Except for the minor stuff that I mentioned previously, this Fiero is in beautiful condition, as you can see in the included YouTube video. I will be glad to answer any questions about this car.
I am selling because I had knee surgery followed by shoulder surgery. And this car is not suitable for my current age and physical condition.
I do have a "clean" and "clear" North Carolina title in hand!
I have this Fiero listed locally. So I reserve the right to end this auction early.

I forgot to mention a couple of things:
The driver's side mirror was reattached to the door by a previous owner. It is secure. But the door panel is not perfect around that immediate area. It is "NOT" anything major. Just more of a visual irritant.
Also, the driver's side stainless steel coolant line under the car, has been repaired with a radiator hose at some point in its life. It is right in front of the driver's side rear tire. I assume that someone attempted to jack the car up in the wrong location and crushed the stainless steel line. I have "never" had any issues with the cooling system over heating or leaking! NEVER!!
Also, I checked Ebay's AutoCheck Vehicle History Report. And there is obviously an error by the Florida Emission Station that reported 146,000 miles on 12/13/96. When one year prior, the vehicle only had 65.000 miles. And one year later it only had 85,000 miles. And the entire history is consistent with the current 87,889 miles being the true and correct miles that are on this vehicle.
The current miles on this vehicle may change slightly, as I do have it listed locally. And it may be taken on test drives.
On Sep-30-13 at 15:07:42 PDT, seller added the following information:
Just thought of a couple more items:
The Tinkerbell symbol on the passenger side wing window is a decal that was on there when I bought the car. It is faded fro the sun. I have never attempted to remove it.
The speaker covers for the two rear speakers are in the trunk of the car. They will probably need to be replaced. I have kept them because the cloth covering is still good. But the plastic housing is in bad condition.
NOTE: I am "NOT" normally home during the day. And I only receive and answer emails through my computer. So if you email me, please be assured that I will reply to you as soon as I get home. It will either be in the evening or early morning Eastern Time Zone.
On Oct-02-13 at 04:21:08 PDT, seller added the following information:
Correction to the tail light lens condition: There are only "two" very small cracks on the "left" tail light lens only. There are "NO" cracks on the "right" tail light lens. These two cracks are close to the trunk lock and are approximately one to two inches in length.
There is an indication that the car was involved in a minor fender bender at some point in its life. If you look at the video in my listing, at the body panel in front of the driver's headlight, you can see some very minor shallow dents that had been hammered out. It is nothing major! Definitely very "minor"! The headlights do work proper.
There is approximately a one inch surface crack on the driver's side of the hood, on the small section between the front bumper and the driver's headlight. The crack is directly in line with the "I" in Pontiac on the headlight cover.

Another Burt Reynolds Trans Am is up for auction
Wed, Jan 18 2017Fans of Smokey and the Bandit, your car has arrived. This Saturday, January 21, Barrett-Jackson will auction a 1977 Pontiac Trans Am clone that, while not originally in the movie, was owned and signed by the Bandit himself, Burt Reynolds. Not only that, but it packs many modifications that should make this Pontiac drive the way we all imagined it did. This is a Trans Am clone, not an original. The car was built by Nebraska company Restore A Muscle Car, and started life as a lowly Firebird Formula. However, the company brought it up to Trans Am grade and beyond. Under the hood is a fuel-injected 8.2-liter V8 from Butler Performance that Restore A Muscle Car says produces 600 horsepower. Coupled to the big V8 is a Tremec five-speed manual transmission. There's even Hurst line-lock on-board, so this Trans Am should be perfect for on-demand burnouts. The car also comes with QA1 coil-over suspension, so it should corner better than the original, too. The outside looks roughly like a stock Trans Am, but it now has 18-inch wheels styled after those from the movie car, and the shaker scoop says "8.2" on each side. View 5 Photos In 2014, a 1977 Trans Am owned by Reynolds sold for a whopping $450,000. That car wasn't an actual movie car either, and lacked the modifications of this one. However, it was used as a promotional car and was given to Reynolds, so it did have some history with the film. This upgraded car is listed in the Barrett-Jackson catalog as "no reserve," so it's going home with a new owner on Saturday, regardless of price. Related Video:
Watch this garbage truck consume a Pontiac Grand Am
Wed, 15 May 2013When an old car or truck offers its dying breath in your driveway and you just don't have the financial or mechanical wherewithal to resuscitate it yet again, you traditionally have to go to the trouble of calling a flatbed or a tow truck to come haul it away. That usually helps to put a few bucks in your wallet and helps recycle some of the vehicle's parts, but the transaction doesn't seem as final or perversely satisfying as the dispatch service that this New Way Cobra Magnum garbage truck offers.
Okay, okay, so this refuse hauler isn't actually designed for this sort of thing, but it's oddly comforting to know that a sanitation truck can compact a hapless Pontiac Grand Am into oblivion. Next time, we won't feel so guilty about slipping that rusty charcoal grille onto the curb next to the cans on garbage day. Watch the carnage by scrolling below.
This Auto Aerobics car art ties our brains in knots like pretzels
Sat, 14 Dec 2013We like cars, and we like art. Naturally, Chris Labrooy's Auto Aerobics series - computer-generated images of some seriously contorted 1968 Pontiac Bonnevilles floating in mid-air - instantly clicked with us. If the Pontiacs weren't floating or hollow, we could be fooled into believing the image is real. But where's the fun in that?
Check out the gallery we included of Labrooy's Bonneville art, and feel free too head over to his website for some Formula One humor.
