1991 Nissan 300zx Twin Turbo Black on 2040-cars

Up for sale is a 1991 Nissan Twin Turbo 300ZX car that needs some work.
I bought the car a few years ago as a project. Got it running and driving, mechanically everything was good, good turbo boost, good cylinder compression. It was running rich and had a slight hesitation. Took it to a shop to replace O2 sensors and get it tuned up and they decided that it was part of the harness that goes into the ECU. So they cut it and tried to splice it back together. Then couldn't get it running and said they couldn't help me. I boulght a brand new updated harness with new / better connectors from Concept Z. Only issue is to install it right you need to pull motor. I had Concept Z check my ECU and it was good. Previous owner replace clutch and water pump less than 10k miles ago, has lots of receipts. Here is where we stand. Car has brand new Nitto Extreme tires on Prado 18' wheels 7 and 8 widths. It has a Z1 test pipe and custom Labree exhaust. There is a Rockford Fosgate Amp powering Audiophile quality speakers mounted in the rear. There is a Sony LCD/ Nav head unit installed as well. I have a few yards of real black suede to recover the interior. Seats do have wear, tears in the material. Car has a short throw shifter and JDM taillights. Car also has upgraded calipers and drilled rotors. I was planning on painting car, has some damage to front fender and previous damage pass side rear. At this point I have other projects and its time to move on. The parts alone are probably more than 4K. Sorry for poor pictures. I can take any others that you might like. Car is buried in the garage after a move. Please ask any questions. |

Autoblog Podcast #317:
Fiat contemplating sub-brand to compete with Dacia, Datsun
Tue, 05 Feb 2013You can add Fiat to the admittedly short list of automakers considering a low-cost brand to rival Dacia. The inexpensive Eastern European brand from Renault-Nissan has performed on the balance sheet like a premium model line, and the money the alliance is taking off the table is encouraging other players to deal themselves in. Pretty soon Nissan's Datsun sub-brand will join the Dacia party, going on sale in Russia, Indonesia and India and will claim even more rubles, rupiahs and rupees for the parent company. Volkswagen recently said it will make a decision this year on a budget line for the Chinese market. With the euthanasia of Lancia and plans to move the Fiat brand upmarket, company CEO Sergio Marchionne wonders aloud to Automotive News Europe whether there could be room for a new budget brand underneath Fiat.
We're told that the initiative has been in the idea box for five years and even moved to the stage of name considerations, like Innocenti, but worries about profit kept it from realization. If such a range were to be developed, Marchionne says it couldn't be built in Italy and stay within budget, and the company is "analyzing its manufacturing capacity outside of Europe to see if a low-cost brand is viable."
Autoblog's Editors' Picks: Our complete list of the best new vehicles
Mon, May 13 2024It's not easy to earn an “EditorsÂ’ Picks” at Autoblog as part of the rating and review process that every new vehicle goes through. Our editors have been at it a long time, which means weÂ’ve driven and reviewed virtually every new car you can go buy on the dealer lot. There are disagreements, of course, and all vehicles have their strengths and weaknesses, but this list features what we think are the best new vehicles chosen by Autoblog editors. We started this formal review process back in 2018, so there's quite of few of them now. So what does it mean to be an EditorsÂ’ Pick? In short, it means itÂ’s a car that we can highly recommend purchasing. There may be one, multiple, or even zero vehicles in any given segment that we give the green light to. What really matters is that itÂ’s a vehicle that weÂ’d tell a friend or family member to go buy if theyÂ’re considering it, because itÂ’s a very good car. The best way to use this list is is with the navigation links below. Click on a segment, and you'll quickly arrive at the top rated pickup truck or SUV, for example. Use the back button to return to these links and search in another segment, like sedans. If youÂ’ve been keeping up with our monthly series of the latest vehicles to earn EditorsÂ’ Pick status, youÂ’re likely going to be familiar with this list already. If not, welcome to the complete list that weÂ’ll be keeping updated as vehicles enter (and others perhaps exit) the good graces of our editorial team. We rate a new car — giving it a numerical score out of 10 — every time thereÂ’s a significant refresh or if it happens to be an all-new model. Any given vehicle may be impressive on a first drive, but we wait until itÂ’s in the hands of our editors to put it through the same type of testing as every other vehicle that rolls through our test fleet before giving it the EditorsÂ’ Pick badge. This ensures consistency and allows more voices to be heard on each individual model. And just so you donÂ’t think weÂ’ve skipped trims or variants of a model, we hand out the EditorsÂ’ Pick based on the overarching model to keep things consistent. So, when you read that the 3 Series is an EditorsÂ’ Pick, yes, that includes the 330i to the M3 and all the variants in between. If thereÂ’s a particular version of that car we vehemently disagree with, we make sure to call that out.
