2006 Mitsubishi Eclipse GT.

Very well maintained, timing belt and accessory belts and water pump, valve lash, spark plugs and a coil pack, Ac condenser, and hoses replaced this summer at the dealership with OEM parts. K&N Typhoon Intake, RRE Headers, HKS HiFlow exhaust. AEM a/f ratio gauge, new o2 sensors in the rear. Windshield wiper motor was also replaced this summer. Transmission, coolant, brake fluid and power steering fluid all flushed and filled with new OEM fluid this summer. New OEM shift knob. Oil changes every 4-5k miles mobil1 synthetic. Morimoto 6k headlights, Kenwood Excelon stereo, Infinity Cs 6030 speakers and a JBL 8 inch  subwoofer and JBL GT5 640 amp for stereo system. I have full service records of what has been done to it for all repairs, and maintenance from myself and a dealer record for what has been done in the past. I have new Energy Suspension motor mounts for it as well, which have yet to be installed.

There are a few things to note; the car was in an accident and as such had the drivers side repainted, and the door, door trim as well as the windows for the door had to be replaced. The windshield was also replaced after the repair of the wiper motor, as it was damaged during repair. Due to the headers the check engine light will pop on and off, I have the part to fix this, but planned to get a tune for the car which would have removed the code anyway.

Plenty of new parts on this car, all maintenance up to date per manufacture schedule.

Feel free to submit an offer.

Mitsubishi recalls 82,426 vehicles for CVT hesitation issues

Mon, Aug 22 2016

The Basics: Mitsubishi is recalling 82,436 vehicles from the 2015 and 2016 model year. The recall affects the continuously variable transmissions, or CVTs, in 2015-16 Outlander Sports, 2016 Outlanders, and 2016 Lancers. Mitsubishi calls their Jatco manufactured CVT a constant velocity transmission. The Problem: According to the document Mitsubishi submitted to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, the CVTs in certain vehicles can momentarily lose signal and delay acceleration. This can increase the risk of an accident. Injuries/Deaths: It is unknown if there are any injuries or deaths related to this issue. The Fix: Dealerships will reprogram affected CVTs for free. If you own one: Mitsubishi Motors North America began the recall on August 15. If you own an affected vehicle, contact MMNA customer service at 1-888-648-7820. MMNA's number for this recall is SR-16-006. Mitsubishi dealers should be able to update the CVT's software and resolve the issue. Angry dad smashes son's Mitsubishi with Xbox

Fri, 17 Oct 2014

It's normal for parents to get frustrated with their kids sometimes. Moms and dads have high hopes for the success of their brood, and when the youngsters let them down, it hurts. That's not an excuse to be destructive, though. Especially not to the point of destroying a Mitsubishi Montero Sport with an Xbox 360 like in this video.
The clip claims to be about a dad upset that his kid doesn't have a job and stays home playing video games. The guy takes his anger out not just on the console but also his son's car. The Mitsubishi definitely takes its fair share of the punishment here even after the Xbox is broken.
If this were real, it would be a pretty horrifying fight to watch. But while we can't be entirely certain, we're almost positive that this argument is completely staged for a number of reasons. The major one is that the same uploader also has videos with millions of total views of the same "Psycho Dad" dropping an Xbox in a pool, running over games with a lawn mower and taking an axe to a laptop. Furthermore, just looking at the clip itself, people don't generally wait for the other person to stop talking when yelling at each other. It also seems a bit suspicious that the kid directly speaks to the audience at one point.

Mitsubishi and NTT to buy 30% stake in HERE digital mapping company

Sat, Dec 21 2019

Digital mapping company HERE Technologies sold a 30% stake to Mitsubishi and Nippon Telegraph and Telephone Corp (NTT), diluting German carmakers’ stake to 54% amid uncertainty about the profit potential from autonomous cars. Mitsubishi and NTT will co-invest in the Amsterdam-headquartered company through their newly established, jointly owned holding firm COCO Tech Holding B.V. in the Netherlands, HERE said on Friday. “Their investment also means we are further diversifying our shareholder base beyond automotive, which is important given the appeal and necessity of location technology across geographies and industries,” HEREÂ’s Chief Executive Edzard Overbeek said. The Japanese companies said they would collaborate with HERE to develop services such as ways to tackle road congestion and improve supply chain efficiencies. High definition maps can also be used in fleet management, asset tracking, last-mile delivery, long-distance package delivery by drones and indoor mapping applications, Overbeek told Reuters. Financial details of the transaction, which they said would close next year, were not disclosed. German carmakers BMW, Audi and Daimler saw high definition mapping as a strategic asset and bought HERE from Finnish telecoms group Nokia for around 2.5 billion euros ($2.8 billion) in 2015 to avoid becoming dependent on AlphabetÂ’s Google. FridayÂ’s deal dilutes the stake held by each German carmaker from 25% to just under 18%, HERE said. REALITY CHECK Tech companies and automakers raced to develop self-driving vehicles after Google presented a prototype car in 2012, leading German manufacturers to develop robotaxis as a way to enter the ride-hailing business to take on Uber. However, the technology costs and regulatory hurdles have spiraled, and ride-hailing businesses have struggled to reach sustainable profitability, leading to a reassessment of the business potential of robotaxis and ride hailing. “There has been a reality check setting in here,” Daimler Chief Executive Ola Kaellenius said last month, adding that spending on robotaxis would be “rightsized.” The move comes as BMW and Daimler this week announced they will exit the North American car-sharing market, halting operations in Montreal, New York, Seattle, Washington D.C., and Vancouver, as they focus on the European market. Last year, GermanyÂ’s Continental and Bosch, the worldÂ’s largest automotive suppliers, bought a 5% stake in HERE.
