1967 Cougar, Big Block. Auto,Console and factory ac. This car was sitting for a long time. I did get it running and verify the car does move on it's own power . This is an excellent example of a rust free 67 Cougar with a Big block motor. Sold out of Herb Stevens INC, 1330 E Camelback rd, Phoenix Az, 85014. LA Sales District 52.
It will need some repair to make it road worthy.Still has the original exhaust sytem on the car. Please look at all the pictures, This car is no rust bucket by no means, It would be a great car for a entry level car collector or for a Young person to get into the classic cars .There is a area in the frt passenger front floor area that needs repair patch panel ,,,,, that it!!!! There are minor surface areas of rust but over all this is a excellent rust free car. There are several dents and dings over the car but are easy repairs. i fix dents ansd dings all day over fixing rusty ass cars. I own a restoration shop here in Mn and I can tell you every thing you would to know about the car. The engine has great oil pressure and starts right up , no noises ,knocks or major oil leaks. Needs brake inspection and service . Recommend full fluid change. Also, the carb is not the correct carb on the car. I can use the carb that is on the car to start for you to hear the engine run. But I must take that carb off the car. So you will need a carb for the car.
The interior is in typical condition for a west coast car that has been sitting out side for a long time. The seats need covers and cushions ,Head liner is gone, Sail panels and rear package tray. Dash is not cut, damaged or butchered up in any way . Factory original steering column and steering wheel.
We do have some extra parts that go with the car. There s another rust free damage free west coast deck lid, extra pair of head lamp doors and back window trim .
This vehicle is located in Farmington Mn and is for sell locally as well. This car was delived here from Phoenix Az.back in January 2013 . It is not a mid west car and would be a excellent car for someone. This is a complete running car with the following features, 3.00 rear axle, Console , power disc brakes, power steering , Factory installed ac,Original Am radio and tinted Glass. Wire wheel covers, Heavy duty suspension.

Preposed class-action lawsuit targets 'defective' MyFord Touch
Tue, 16 Jul 2013A national law firm, Hagens Berman Sobol Shapiro LLP, has filed a proposed class action lawsuit whose presupposition is that MyFord Touch is defective. Specifically, the complaint states that the system - as well as the MyLincoln Touch and MyMercury Touch clones - often freeze, fail to respond to voice or touch commands and have issues connecting to mobile phones.
According to Hagens Berman managing partner Steve Berman, MyFord Touch is a theoretically "brilliant idea" that falls short in actual execution. Said Berman in a press release, "In reality, the system is fundamentally flawed, failing to reliably provide functionality, amounting to an inconvenience at best, and a serious safety issue at worst."
Other MFT issues enumerated within the 41-page filing include problems controlling the window defroster, rear-view camera and navigation system. The suit maintains that Ford is aware of the problem but has yet to submit a workable and acceptable solution to MFT customers. Scroll down if you'd like to read the full press release.
NHTSA and Ford investigating steering issues in Crown Vic, Grand Marquis and Marauder
Fri, 11 Jul 2014There may be more steering woes for the Ford Crown Victoria. The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration has opened a preliminary evaluation into the Crown Vic and Mercury Grand Marquis from the 2004 to 2007 model years and the Mercury Marauder for the 2004 and 2005 model years because the steering shaft can jam. The issue could potentially affect an estimated 500,000 vehicles.
According to the regulator, there is a possibility that the driver's side heat shield for the exhaust manifold can rust, dislodge, and then wedge into the steering shaft. If this occurs, it leads to a situation where the driver can no longer control the car.
NHTSA has received five complaints of this happening, including one alleged case with an injury. In that situation, the car was driving onto the highway, lost control and rolled over. One occupant was hurt in the accident.
Curtain officially comes down on Mercury as dealers remove signage
Mon, 03 Jan 2011The process of shutting down the Mercury is complete. Ford officially made the decision to close its mid-level brand in June of 2010. In the months that followed, Ford offered its dealers money to stop selling the cars, with production shutting down in September. The last Mercury, a Mariner, rolled off the assembly line in the beginning of October and former spokesperson Jill Wagner said her good-byes to both the car and her job. Now the last piece of the brand has come down as dealers are removing any and all Mercury signage from their lots.
