You are purchasing a 2011 Mercedes Benz C Class with the V6 engine, hence the C300. It is adult driven by me and I also own Range Rovers/Jaguars and Porsches. I take care of all of my vehicles and when I sell them, make every effort to disclose everything about the vehicle. This car is a 9.8 on a scale of 10 for a car of its age and mileage. The only thing that takes away from it being a 10 in my opionion, is a small portion on the lower bumper underneath the driving lamp where the paint has cracked. On day while driving I hit something small, a bird perhaps, and I pulled over and saw the area where it hit. It wasn't enought to damage the bumper or light, but just enough to crack the paint. I will be happy to have this repaired if you buy the car but wanted to disclose the chipped area before I painted it so you would know, its the only thing that is being "repainted".

This car has no damage or repair history and has never been in the shop during my ownership. I bought it when it was a year and a half old with roughly 10k miles.

This car would make a beautiful addition to any young adult/wife/professional who wants a Mercedes but doesn't want to spend $48,000 for a new one.

It has navigation, satellite radio (SIRRUS), a hard drive to down load music, and holds 6 cd's in the dash. Everything works like new and it drives and handles exceptionally well.

Daimler names Bernd Pischetsrieder to supervisory board

Some executives in the automotive industry stay with one company for their entire careers, while others bounce from one to the other, often leaving their indelible mark on each automaker at which they serve. Bob Lutz is certainly an example of the latter. So is Lee Iacocca, having presided over Ford and later charing the Chrysler board. Carlos Tavares was chief operating officer of Renault before being nominated as chief executive at PSA Peugeot Citroën. But as far as the Germans go, nobody's jumped from the leadership of one automaker to the next quite like Bernd Pischetsrieder - especially now that he's been named to the supervisory board of Mercedes-Benz parent company Daimler.
An engineer by training, Pischetsrieder started his career at BMW in 1973, eventually rising to the office of CEO after twenty years. There he remained until 1999, only to be dismissed after orchestrating BMW's takeover of the Rover Group (of which only the Mini brand remains in the company's portfolio, the other brands having been sold off after his dismissal).
The next year he was named chairman of Volkswagen's Seat brand, and rose to the chairmanship of the entire Volkswagen Group two years later. Despite a largely successful four-year tenure (that gave birth, incidentally, to the Bugatti Veyron), disagreements with supervisory board chairman Ferdinand Piëch saw him leave the helm at VW AG, focusing his attention on the Scania truck division. He's since been touted as a potential chief executive for Opel and for Continental, but neither potential was apparently realized.

New details emerge on forthcoming Mercedes-Benz SLC

Last we heard, the Mercedes-Benz SLC had been put on indefinite hold, but now Car Magazine is reporting that the Porsche 911-fighting "Baby SLS" coupe could be on sale by 2015. Riding on a modified SLS AMG chassis, the smaller and lighter SLC could be priced in the sub-$100,000 price bracket.
We'd already heard that the new car would feature conventional doors (instead of SLS-like gullwing doors), but this report focuses on some of the possible powertrains Mercedes-Benz is likely to use. At launch, the SLC could offer a pair of V8-powered models - a 485-horsepower SLC and a 585-hp SLC S - both being powered by a 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8. About a year after launch, a new V6 model could emerge giving the SLC an estimated 333 horsepower and its lowest price point.
It also sounds like the car's name hasn't been completely finalized as some people within Mercedes are favoring a return of the SLR name.
