This is super nice Mercedes C300 4Matic. If you are looking for a bargain on a Nice C300 you have found it. This was bought from an insurance company January of 2013 as a brand new car from a dealer. We have driven this for over 18 months. It had 7 miles on it when we got it and was Brand New. This Runs and Drives Perfect FLAWLESSLY like a new one. This was "deemed" a flood. This was in an area that they deemed flood and there was no water in this car. We did nothing to this car. This issue was that it was brand new at a dealership and they released the liability. Super Clean interior. We did nothing to it. Everything works perfect. This smells nice inside and It is a clean car. Drives like a brand new one. There will be a $200 title fee added to for a dealer fee. This is sold with a clear regular salvage title. We can provide a regular clean clear "rebuilt" inspected title for an extra $190. Folks ask why this has a salvage title. The insurance companies give all cars that are paid out a salvage title to release liability. Even if you leave the window down and make a claim most of the time it is paid off to release liability to the insurance company. XCAR marks 20-year anniversary of Senna's passing with Mercedes 190E Cosworth
Thu, 01 May 2014While the automotive world is focusing on the twentieth anniversary of Ayrton Senna's death, there was much, much more to the legendary driver than his untimely passing at the 1994 San Marino Grand Prix.
XCAR has the story of a younger Senna, who, by a stroke of luck, found himself matched up against a veritable dream team of nine Formula One champions, not to mention a cadre of German touring car aces. A "probably still pissed (drunk)" James Hunt, hard-driving Niki Lauda and future champion and rival Alain Prost, were in attendance for the one-off, spec race, which was put on by Mercedes-Benz, in honor of the opening of the Nürburgring's Grand Prix circuit. And Senna was on hand with the explicit goal of besting them all.
Each driver was handed a lightly modified, but brand-new 190E 2.3-16 Cosworth, a car that can best be though of as the distant ancestor of the lovable C63 AMG. As for the race itself, well, it was sort of like an introduction of what the sport could come to expect from the Brazilian.
