Up for bid is an EXTREMELY WELL KEPT 2002 Mercedes-Benz C320.  You won't find a nicer MB C320 with 100,000 miles.  We are the second owner and bought this car at Fletcher Jones Mercedes Benz in Newport Beach, CA with 5,300 miles (virtually new).   All service and maintenance requirements have been done religiously.  We have all service records, the books from Mercedes and both keys.  This model has almost every accessory that Mercedes offered that year.

This car has been senior owned, no pets, no children, non smokers.   It gets great gas mileage, 23-25 around town and 28-30 on the highway (has MPG read out on dash).  Drives smooth as silk, no squeaks or rattles and very quiet interior.  Of course it has very good power and stops on a dime, one of the safest cars for you and your family.  One of the best points on this car is the interior --- it is just like new --- The carpets have never been used --- We have had plastic covers on the floor mats since day one --- Look at Photos

HERE ARE SOME OF THE OPTIONS

Bordeaux exterior paint  ---  Light Gray interior --- Power Steering --- Power Brakes --- Power Seats --- Power Head Rests --- Power Trunk Lift --- Power Moon Roof --- Power Rear Window Sun Screen --- Key less Entry --- Garage Door Opener --- Driving Function Computer --- 6 Disk CD Player --- Anti Theft Break In --- Memory Package Drivers Seat --- Mercedes Benz Chrome Wheels --- Tires are pretty new ---

Their are No dents or bad scratches, but it does have some pitting on hood front.  Rear bumper area has a small scratch and so does the left front fender, they don't show up in our photos. [SORRY ].  I have tried to describe our car as well as I can, but I can insure you that you will be pleased when you see it.  I encourage anyone interested to try and come and do your own inspection if you can,

If you live out of the Phoenix AZ area I will do what ever I can to help a buyer with shipping, but the cost of shipping is the responsibility of the buyer as are any local or state taxes.  Arizona residents remember NO SALES TAX when you buy from a private party.

Preferred method of payment is bank to bank wire transfer.

Please email any questions, leave your phone number and I will be happy to call you back.

Bahrain Grand Prix proves that Formula 1 finally has parity

Sun, Apr 16 2017

Ferrari driver Sebastian Vettel claimed victory at the Bahrain Grand Prix 6.6 seconds in front of Mercedes-AMG's Lewis Hamilton. In so doing, Vettel vaulted into first place in the driver standings ahead of Hamilton, with two race victories to the Mercedes driver's one. The decisive moment in the race came with 16 laps remaining, as Hamilton served a 5-second penalty for holding up Red Bull's Daniel Ricciardo in the pit lane in an earlier pit stop during a safety car period. Hamilton was able to reclaim second place in front of teammate Valtteri Bottas with 10 laps remaining, and he cut Vettel's lead from 13 seconds to 6.6 seconds at the finish. Bottas went on to finish third, followed by Ferrari's Kimi Raikkonen in fourth. Ricciardo crossed the line in fifth, meaning there were three constructors in the top five places in Bahrain. Perhaps more than anything else, the 2017 season has been unpredictable and entertaining, marking a break from the last several years in F1 where one marque has been dominant. Here's hoping the rest of the year provides similar thrills and spectacle. Mercedes rules out hybrid supercar, promises SLS successor

Sat, 16 Mar 2013

The recent Geneva Motor Show was a festival of hypercars, with the presence of not one, but three over-the-top debuts: the Lamborghini Veneno, McLaren P1 and Ferrari LeFerrari. The latter two have hitched their carbon fiber bumpers to the electrification bandwagon by using hybrid-electric powertrains not entirely unlike the propulsion systems we've come to know in cars like the Toyota Prius and Chevrolet Volt. Does that mean the flow of electrons up the four-wheeled food chain will eventually consume our hallowed supercars? Not if AMG has anything to say about it.
AMG Director of Vehicle Development Tobias Moers recently confirmed that not only will there be a successor to the Mercedes-Benz performance division's SLS AMG, he notes that its internal combustion engine will most definitely not be sharing living quarters with an electric drivetrain. Instead, AMG plans to focus on further pushing the power and efficiency envelope of the internal combustion engine and advancing the use of lightweight materials to achieve their goals. The first example of this effort can be seen in the new SLS AMG Black Series that incorporates many weight-saving techniques to shed some 154 pounds from the SLS AMG GT (above), which itself is lighter than the standard SLS AMG.
Furthermore, Moers remarks that his company is happy to leave the hypercar segment to companies like Ferrari and McLaren. He admits that, "Ferrari in the hyper-car segment is still a different brand than AMG. We have to be honest..." So rather than taking the SLS further upmarket to do battle with bulls and stallions, Moers hinted that the next-generation SLS may be joined by another performance model that fits neatly between itself and the C63 AMG.

New Mercedes Unimog debuts to the cheers of little boys everywhere [w/video]

Sat, 27 Apr 2013

The Mercedes Unimog, the superhero villain of the off-road world that's just waiting to make the jump to Transformer, has been completely upgraded for its new generation. There are ten models, expanding the range and getting new designations across the traditional all-terrain series and the implement-carrier series. Panoramic cabins get more visibility, multifunction steering wheels and better dash clusters, improved HVAC and a three-mode central tire inflation system. Outside, there are new items like LED headlights and daytime running lamps in the bumper, roof-mounted windshield wipers and a front-camera monitor for the implement carrier.
The new engine lineup is compliant with Euro VI, featuring four- and six-cylinder BlueEfficiency engines putting out anywhere from 156 horsepower to 354 hp. Powerplant placement has also been tweaked, the chassis members getting a revised curve to place the engine a bit further back and lower, maintaining off-road clearance and lowering the Unimog's center of gravity. The new location of the engine means the cabin has more room, and the wheelbase is shorter. Combined with a higher turning angle, the Unimog has a smaller turning radius than before.
The implement carrier gets what's called a "synergistic traveling drive," the bonus being that drivers don't need to stop in order to use an attachment - a hydrostatic transmission works with the regular manual transmission at up to 31 kilometers per hour for seamless switching.
