I am privately selling my 2009 Range Rover Sport HSE.  Buckinham Blue exterior with Tan interior.  This car has all options with the exclusion of the Luxury package.  The luxury package included the Cold Climate Package which this truck has and the woodgrain on the interior which I personally did not like.  This truck has the aluminum look vs. woodgrain.

The Cold Climate Package includes the front and rear heated seats, heated steerling wheel, heated windshield and heated washers on the headlamps.  I can tell you from personal experience that the heated wheel and windshield are one of the best options in these trucks.

It also has a moon roof, satellite radio, range rover branded heavy duty front, rear and spaceloader black and metal rubber mats which have been in the truck since I purchased it new.  I also have the tan matts that came with the truck and have never been used.

In addition I wanted to make sure that I was selling a truck that wouldn't need any additional work/cost to the new owner.  So in the past 2 months I put (4) new tires on the vehicle ($1,200), had it professionally detailed ($300), had a new heated windshield installed, I had it inspected by Range Rover over the summer and had the internal Hepa filters changed which I didnt even know existed in addition to an oil change and rear brakes so the truck is in excellent running condition.

I would say that the overall condition of this truck is good-very good.  Leaning towards very good condition. Let me outline the small imperfections. The right 2 rims have rash marks.  The front bumper has two small scuffs in the paint.  The rear bumper has a ding and the right rear passenger door has a VERY small ding.  On the interior the only thing I would say is that just above the Navigation unit the sun caused the black plastic to peel a little.

I have taken all of these things into consideration with my price and I am selling the truck below the standard asking price on ebay.

It is a very nice truck and the only reason I am selling it is because I recently relocated to NYC and do not have a need for 2 vehicles at this time.  I was considering keeping it for a very long time knowing that I have taken very good care of this truck and it has not had a single problem but it just doesnt make sense.  You are buying a single owner well taken care of vehicle.  I take my cars seriously as I have a family to protect and would only put them in the safest vehicle on the road.

I have the clean carfax for the truck and I am happy to take additional pictures at your request and within reason.

I cannot ship this vehicle so it is a pick up sale only.  You are welcome to view the vehicle as I have it in NYC at a secure indoor facility.

Jaguar to sell all-electric cars by 2030, and six electric Land Rovers coming in next five years

Mon, Feb 15 2021

Jaguar is making a big transition to become an electric-only car company. The switchover is meant to kickoff in 2025, and by 2030, Jaguar says 100% of its vehicle sales will be of electric models. Land Rover is taking a similar route, but to a lesser extent. The British off-roading brand says that it will introduce six pure electric variants in the next five years, with eyes on 60% of its sales being of electric models by 2030. Its first all-electric model will arrive in 2024, JLR said. An Automotive News report cites CEO Thierry Bollore, saying he expects "almost zero" production of cars with internal combustion engines by 2039, making that the theoretical end date of Land Rover vehicles with ICEs.  JLR, owned by India's Tata Motors, said on Monday the Jaguar brand will lead the way with a fully-electric model range built on a brand-new electric platform. The Land Rover EVs are to be built on a separate electric vehicle architecture to provide for "two clear unique personalities." The Land Rover EVs are said to be finding homes on both the Modular Longitudinal Architecture (MLA) and Electric Modular Architecture (EMA). Both support combustion engine layouts and full EV layouts, but the latter is said to be more biased toward EVs and to exclusively support "advanced electrified ICE." Both brands will be taking advantage of technology from within the Tata Group (JLR's owners) to make this transition happen. There's limited information on the future of certain models for the time being, but Jaguar did say that its previously-planned XJ replacement will no longer have a place in the brand's lineup. That said, Jaguar says the nameplate might stick around, with the assumption it could be used on an all-new future EV. Additionally, Automotive News reports that Jaguar will transition away from SUV-style vehicles, citing Bollore — the theory being that Land Rover takes over and completely fills that space in the future. We'll be wondering about what will become of the F-Pace and E-Pace. Our biggest Jaguar question concerns the F-Type, though. Will we get a fully electric version of the sports car in the future? Jaguar didn't address it, but we certainly hope so. JLR said that as it electrifies its model range, it will keep all three of its British plants open. But Bollore, who took over as chief executive in September, said the carmaker's Castle Bromwich plant in central England would focus on "non-production" activities in the long term.

Jaguar Land Rover cutting production in face of falling demand

Sat, Feb 8 2020

LONDON — Jaguar Land Rover will reduce or stop production on certain days at two of its British factories over the next few weeks as Britain's biggest carmaker pursues cost-cutting measures in response to falling demand. JLR posted a 2.3% drop in retail sales in the three months to the end of December and has targeted billions of pounds worth of savings to tackle falling diesel demand in Europe and a tough sales environment in China. The firm will halt production on selected days over a four-week period from late February at its Castle Bromwich factory in central England and stop production on some half or full days at its nearby Solihull facility until the end of March. "The external environment remains challenging for our industry and the company is taking decisive actions to achieve the necessary operational efficiencies to safeguard long-term success," the company said in a statement. "We have confirmed that Solihull and Castle Bromwich will make some minor changes to their production schedules to reflect fluctuating demand globally, whilst still meeting customer needs." The move is not connected to coronavirus, a spokeswoman said, which prompted Fiat Chrysler to warn on Thursday that a European plant could shut down within two to four weeks if Chinese parts suppliers cannot get back to work.
