1988 Jeep Grand Wagoneer Base Sport Utility 2-door 5.9l (4-door) on 2040-cars
Pennsville, New Jersey, United States
|
The body is in good condition. It does have several dings and a few dents and scratches. The body is rust free and the frame is in good shape. The transmission was rebuilt a few thousand miles ago. It has 4 tires with less than 10,000 miles on them. The battery is about 18 months old. The interior is in good shape. The driver side seat does have a tear in it. The power seats work. The power windows work. The rear tailgate glass works. The power locks don't always work properly. I checked it on Carfax when I bought it and it hasn't been in any accidents. The lower sections of both passenger side doors were repainted while it was still in Arizona. I don't know what happened, maybe someone rubbed the them against something. I replaced all the door seals a couple of years ago. The driver side door needs to be adjusted, as it will leak when you are washing it. I have a cover for it, which will be included. The clear coat is coming off in several areas. The hood ornament is broken off, but I have the broken piece and will include it.
It had been a great truck. I was driving it the other day, when I lost oil pressure and got a terrible clattering from under the hood. My mechanic is telling me the engine needs to be rebuilt, which I just don't have the money for at this time. I'd rather see the truck go to someone that can use it, then having it go to the scrap yard and be crushed. The truck is from Arizona originally. It was purchased by a guy in Maryland about 8 years ago and I bought it from him 6-7 years ago. The vehicle is being sold AS IS. It is to be considered non-running, although the engine will turn over and it will move (I'm not recommending this and I won't be moving it any further). If you have access to an engine, everything else you need is right here. I will not ship the vehicle. You will need to pick it up no later then August 10, 2014. I require a $500 deposit via PayPal within 48 hours of auction close. If you don't send the deposit within 48 hours, I will re-list and report you to eBay. Any remaining balance will be due in cash when you pick up the truck. If you have any questions, please contact me. I will try to have an answer back to you as soon as possible. |

FCA's UAW workers to get $8,010 profit-sharing payout
Wed, Mar 3 2021UAW workers at FCA will soon be receiving $8,010 checks, which represent profit-sharing based on the company's 2020 performance. Although FCA's profit margins in 2020 were slimmer than the year prior, the union-employee payouts are slightly larger, due to a change in the formula that was negotiated in 2019 and has now gone into effect. Employees are now paid $900 for every 1% of profit margin FCA achieves in its North American operations. For 2020, the company enjoyed an 8.9% profit margin, and although that was down slightly from 9.1% in 2019, the checks are larger than last year's $7,280 payout. Still, FCA employees didn't fare quite as well as their counterparts at GM, who stand to receive profit-sharing checks of up to $9,000. GM workers did even better last year, netting $10,000. UAW workers at Ford had less to celebrate. They'll receive $3,525, based on the company's 2020 performance. That's a steep drop from last year's $6,600. FCA earned $6.472 billion in North America in 2020. The company is expecting an improved financial performance in 2021, as it's expected to avoid another coronavirus-related shutdown. It's also expected to benefit from the launch of the three-row Grand Cherokee L, as well as the Jeep Wagoneer and Grand Wagoneer, all of which are high-margin products. 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT
Mon, 25 Feb 2013Jeep's Super 'Ute Is Fun Thrown In The Face Of Conventional Wisdom
Let's talk asses for a moment. What do they have to do with the 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT, you ask?
Well, we're here to tell you that this SRT can haul some. Lots of them, as a matter of fact: Jeep has increased the towing capacity of its most powerful SUV to 7,200 pounds. Assuming the average donkey weighs about 400 pounds, the Grand Cherokee SRT can haul ass to the tune of 18 burros, give or take a covered trailer or so, which is significantly more than it could in previous years. In 2013, the machine could manage 5,000 pounds, while the first generation was rated at just 3,500. The increase is mostly attributable to a new eight-speed automatic transmission and beefier rear axle, and it's a welcome update for those who'd like to use their SUV as, well, an SUV with an emphasis on utility.
Chrysler reports $166M net income for Q1, down $307M vs. 2012
Mon, 29 Apr 2013Preliminary first-quarter results from 2013 have been announced by Chrysler, and the company is reporting a net income of $166 million on revenue of $15.4 billion. Compared to this period last year, net income is down $307 million and revenue has dropped $1 billion.
Chrysler says that its quarter was negatively affected by the costs associated with launching its 2013 Ram Heavy Duty, 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee and preparation for the return of the all-new 2014 Jeep Cherokee pictured above. The launches should provide a strong second half of 2013, says the automaker. "We remain on track to achieve our business targets, even as the first-quarter results were affected by an aggressive product launch schedule," said Chrysler Group LLC Chairman and CEO Sergio Marchionne.
On a positive note, the automaker says worldwide vehicle sales are up 8 percent from one year ago, a number pushed by a 12 percent bump in U.S. retail sales. In addition, domestic market share has risen slightly, up to 11.4 percent from 11.2 percent last year. Read more in the official statement below.
