2010 JEEP WRANGLER UNLIMITED SPORT! 4X4! CUSTOMIZED & LOADED WITH OVER $14K WORTH OF UPGRADES! ONLY 60K MILES! Please feel free to call me if you would like to "Buy It Now". I do have this Jeep for sale locally and I will end the auction early should it sell prior to the auction ending. (816) 308-0351. This Jeep has had over 14k dollars invested in to it since the day it rolled off of the showroom floor. It has always been meticulously maintained and garaged. It has never been smoked in. It is a very eye catching and exceptionally comfortable Jeep. The body and paint on the Jeep are in excellent condition. There is no rust nor is there is any major scratches, dings, or dents through out the body. The Jeep does have a high dollar 3" lift kit which gives it the perfect stance. The custom wheels are relatively new and are also in excellent condition. As you will see within the photos, it does have a matching spare that is mounted to the rear of the Jeep. The custom running boards and brush guard were also added additionally. They too are in excellent condition. On the front of the Jeep you will find a high dollar Warner Wench which I don't believe has ever been used. The vinyl top that is covering the Jeep is also in excellent condition. It does not have any tears nor any major stains. The interior of the Jeep is also in excellent condition. As you will see, it has had some updates of its own. It has a high end head unit which plays DVD's and is also equipped with Bluetooth which allows you to talk hands free. The Jeep also has a set of high end Subwoofers as well as an amp. Just the sound system and head unit cost over 7k dollars. I will be evaluating all reasonable offers and I will in fact sell the Jeep early as we do have it for sale "locally". My goal here is to sell the Jeep. I strongly encourage anyone who is interested to please call or email to schedule a time to come check it out. I would also like to add that I am usually on the phone from 7 AM until about 12 AM so you are always welcome to call and if I do not answer, just leave a message and I will return your call immediately. I know from my own experience with purchasing cars online, most of the time it is very difficult to get someone on the phone and to obtain the information you need. So I try to always stay on top of emails and phone calls. We do have a clear title for this Jeep. As always, good luck and happy bidding! Thanks, Shawn (816) 308-0351 1J4BA3H1XAL116952

MotorWeek reviews '83 American Motors lineup
Wed, Mar 18 2015The 30th anniversary of American Motors' 1987 sale to Chrysler by Renault is just a few years away. AMC is long dead, but for its latest peek in the archives, MotorWeek winds back the clock to somewhat happier times. Take a look at the entire AMC lineup from 1983, including its models from Jeep and Renault. The Jeeps, and to a lesser extent, the AMC Eagle, enjoy a cult following today, but it's amazing how many of these other vehicles are now practically forgotten. Even the big debut in '83 of the Renault Alliance is largely ignored. Although with a ludicrous amount of body roll and a 55-horsepower 1.4-liter engine, it's probably rightly buried. 2018 Jeep Wrangler production ending to make way for Jeep pickup
Tue, Jan 30 2018After more than a decade in production, the outgoing JK generation Jeep Wrangler is set to end production on April 7. According to Automotive News, parts supplier Hyundai Mobis North America notified the State of Ohio that production was ending. The Toledo, Ohio, plant where the Jeep is built is already deep into production of the replacement JL generation Wrangler. The big news isn't that JK production is ending but that the plant is retooling in order to get Wrangler pickup production underway. Details on the Wrangler pickup are scarce. Jeep hasn't said anything, so most of what we know comes from various spy shots. Basically, expect a JL Wrangler Unlimited with a bed. That's a good thing. We were quite smitten with the Wrangler when we drove it late last year. It's better equipped and more refined than ever. The Toledo plant has a capacity of about 300,000 units a year. FCA CEO Sergio Marchionne expects about 100,000 Wrangler pickups to be sold each year. When the Wrangler pickup arrives, look for a naturally aspirated V6 under the hood. The turbo inline-four is likely, though smaller volumes could limit the truck's engine choices. The upcoming turbo diesel is a possibility, too. Other details include suspension that takes a cue from Ram. Look for a full reveal in the next few months. Related Video: This content is hosted by a third party. Marchionne defends FCA recalls, says Wrangler won't be all-aluminum
Fri, May 22 2015FCA CEO Sergio Marchionne recently received the 2015 Industry Leadership Award from the SAE Foundation. While speaking with the press after the event, the boss discussed his thoughts about some key issues regarding the company's future. One of the big regulatory issues facing FCA at the moment is the upcoming public hearing by the National Highway Traffic Safety into the automaker's handling of 20 recalls. Marchionne has no intention of testifying there, according to The Detroit News. The CEO also thinks that the government regulator is becoming much more aggressive in how it handles safety campaigns, but the Feds aren't necessarily doing a very good job of communicating that. "We need to work with the agency in a very cooperative and open way to make sure that we can meet their requirements for their new stance," he said, according to the newspaper. "We have no option but to comply with their requirements and we will. I have nothing to hide in this process. I just want clear rules." Marchionne also dropped the news that the company has changed its mind about making the next Jeep Wrangler totally from aluminum. "Because of the difference in cost, not just the new material but the actual assembly process, I think we can do almost as well without doing it all-aluminum," he said to The Detroit News. This seemingly opens the door for the model to remain in production in Toledo, OH, but only just a crack. Marchionne says that the new Wrangler would still use a large amount of aluminum, and there are "at least" two sites in contention for the assembly. The company doesn't have too long to make a decision because the model reportedly launches in 2017.
