This is a one of a kind offer, because we really love this vehicle and keep it in immaculate condition. Non smoker. Garage kept. I bought this vehicle for nearly $28,000, I can show you the dealership bill of sale as proof, it is in perfect condition all around, and are listing it $3,000 under the Kelly Blue Book Value if sold to a Dealer, about $4,500 under the private seller suggested price. I bought this vehicle for my fiance before leaving the country, and since I've returned, I bought a BMW X5 (which you may see in some of the photos). It makes no sense for us to keep two SUVs for a small family, so we are selling this 2014 Jeep Compass Limited. The color is similar to a plum, aubergine, or burgundy during the day, and has a beautiful luster that sometimes looks brown in color in bright light, or black at night time. Please reference photos. We have the title in hand. Just over 12,000 miles. The interior leather is still in excellent condition, easily fit 4 people over 6ft tall in all four seats and comfortably. We really do love the Compass and probably will buy another one soon.

We take tremendous pride in the way our vehicles are maintained and it still looks like it is fresh from the dealer parking lot. It was actually a tough decision choosing between the Jeep and the more expensive BMW because honestly the Jeep Compass has a tighter grip and turn on the road and it only costs $45.00 at maximum to fill up, with a consistent 27-30 mpg. Similar vehicles only have half of that efficiency. You will find no mechanical issues, cosmetic or body issues, no electrical issues, and if you look closely even our wheels are still in MINT condition, which is not always the case with most drivers. As I said, we take a lot of pride in how we keep our vehicles. Here's why you shouldn't try to drift a Jeep Cherokee

There are many reasons why an XJ-generation (or really any other) Jeep Cherokee doesn't make for a good drift machine. It's tall, it's four-wheel-drive... it's a Jeep, okay? But someone apparently forgot to tell that to this guy. Uploaded to LiveLeak, this video shows some poor schmuck who took his Cherokee to a (mostly) empty parking lot and tried to drift it. Needless to say, things didn't go quite as he planned, but they probably went exactly as you might have expected. Thankfully, nobody appears to have been hurt. Or at least, we assume so, since the guy apparently survived to put the video up online.

2014 Jeep Cherokee facing production delay

Jeep's bold-faced new direction spearheaded by the 2014 Cherokee is facing some teething issues. According to a report by the Detroit Free Press, production start-up of the controversial new utility vehicle at its Toledo North facility is running about a month behind schedule "due to a wide range of issues." That's according to Mark Chernoby, senior vice president of engineering at Chrysler.
Chernoby maintains that the issues being encountered aren't unusual for the launch of a new vehicle - particularly one with a new powertrain - and he downplayed the delay, telling Jeep dealers that they "will have ample inventory of the midsize SUV by fall." Among the kinks being worked out? Calibrating the Cherokee's cutting-edge ZF nine-speed automatic transmission and refining assembly line tasks to make the process more efficient.
Chrysler expects to start building retail-ready versions of the Cherokee around mid-June, with official sales slated to start in September.

Stellantis mega-merger gets approval from FCA, PSA shareholders

MILAN — Shareholders of Fiat Chrysler and PSA Peugeot decisively voted Monday to merge the U.S.-Italian and French carmakers to create worldÂ’s 4th-largest auto company. Addressing separate meetings, both PSA Peugeot CEO Carlos Tavares and Fiat Chrysler Chairman John Elkann spoke of the Â“historicÂ” importance of the vote, which combines legacy car companies that helped write the industrial histories of the United States, France and Italy. Before the merger is finalized, shares in the new company, to be called Stellantis, must the launched. It will be traded in Milan, New York and Paris. The marriage of PSA Peugeot and Fiat Chrysler Automobiles is built on the promise of cost-savings in the capital-hungry industry, but what remains to be seen is if it will be able to preserve jobs and heritage brands in a global market still suffering from the pandemic. The deal will create the worldÂ’s fourth-largest carmaker, with the capacity to produce 8.7 million cars a year, behind Volkswagen, Toyota and Renault-Nissan, and create 5 billion euros in annual synergies.Â Â“We are fully aware of the fact that together we will be stronger than individually,'' PSA CEO Carlos Tavares told a virtual gathering of eligible shareholders. Â“The two companies are in good health. These two companies have strong positions in their markets.Â” The new company will put together under one roof French mass-market carmakers Peugeot and Citroen, top-selling Jeep and Italian luxury and sports brands Maserati and Alfa Romeo - pooling companies that have helped define the industry in the United States, France and Italy. While the tie-up is billed as a merger of equals, the power advantage goes to PSA, with Tavares running Stellantis and holding the tie-breaking vote on the 11-seat board. Tavares is set to take full control of the company early this year, possibly by the end of January. Fiat Chrysler chairman John Elkann, heir to the Fiat-founding Agnelli family and Fiat ChryslerÂ’s biggest shareholder, will be the Stellantis chairman. Fiat Chrysler CEO Mike Manley will head North American operations, which is key to Tavares' long-time goal of getting a U.S. foothold for the French carmaker he has run since 2014, and the clear money-maker for Fiat Chrysler. Such a deal was long wanted by Fiat ChryslerÂ’s long-time CEO Sergio Marchionne, who had predicted the necessity of consolidation in the industry. He was unable to find a deal before his sudden death in July 2018.
