I WILL BREAK DOWN THE CONDITION OF THIS AMAZING, BOX-JEEP INTO (3) CATEGORIES, EXTERIOR, INTERIOR AND DRIVELINE TO EXPLAIN IN DETAIL AND ANSWER AS MANY QUESTIONS AS POSSIBLE BEFOREHAND, SO HERE GOES......

EXTERIOR:  BLACK, BLACK AND MORE BLACK! IT LOOKS TOUGH AND CLASSY AT THE SAME TIME! AS THE PICTURES SHOW, THIS ONE IS EXTREMELY NICE AND CLEAN! THE PAINT STILL HOLDS ITS ORIGINAL SHINE, AND THIS JEEP HAS AWESOME EYE APPEAL! THERE ARE NO MAJOR DENTS, DINGS OR BLEMISHES ON THE BODY OF THE JEEP WHATSOEVER, (SEE PICS) UNDERNEATH LOOKS GREAT! I HAD THE PLASTIC BUMPER END CAPS, AND SIDE MOLDINGS PAINTED AT A LOCAL BODYSHOP "THEY ARE ALWAYS DULL AND CHALKY LOOKING" WITH A OEM SATIN TRIM PAINT, THEY WILL LOOK NEW FOR MANY YEARS TO COME. WHILE THE JEEP WAS THERE, WE DECIDED TO ORDER ALL NEW EMBLEMS/BADGES IN BLACK, AND PAINT THE FACTORY WHEELS SATIN BLACK TO MATCH, THE RESULT WAS JUST AWESOME! EVERYONE THAT SEES THIS JEEP ABSOLUTELY LOVES IT~THE KUMHO TIRES (SIZE 235/75/15) ARE ONLY A COUPLE MONTHS OLD, AND ARE JUST LIKE NEW! JUST A GOOD CLEAN, HONEST, LOW MILE BOX JEEP. BE SURE TO CLICK THE MANY PICS, I AM PROUD OF THIS ONE!-JOSH

INTERIOR: NICE, NEAT AND CLEAN! THIS IS ANOTHER EXAMPLE OF HOW PEOPLE "SHOULD" CARE FOR THEIR VEHICLES, THERE ARE NO SCUFFS, WEAR, OR STAINS ANYWHERE! THE DASHBOARD, DOORPANELS, CONSOLE, ARE ALL FREE FROM CRACKS OR FADING, THEY LOOK NEW. THE CARPET IS FRESH LOOKING AND HAS HAD MATTS COVERING THEM ALWAYS, THE LEATHER SEATS ARE IN AMAZING ORIGINAL CONDITION, WITH NO RIPS OR TEARS OR EXCESSIVE WEAR, THE HEADLINER LOOKS "PERFECT" AND I SEE NO SIGNS OF SMOKING IN THIS JEEP WHATSOEVER! ALL OF THE POWER FEATURES WORK AS THEY SHOULD! THE AIR BLOWS ICE COLD! THE HEAT IS HOT! NO CHECK ENGINE LIGHTS ON, OR ANY OTHER WARNING LIGHTS FOR THAT MATTER! AGAIN, JUST A GREAT BOX JEEP!

DRIVELINE & MECHANICAL

THE 4.0 LITER JEEP ENGINE HAS BUILT A REPUTATION FOR BEING BULLET-PROOF AND LASTING SEVERAL HUNDRED THOUSAND MILES! IF YOU HAVENT HAD ONE YOURSELF, DO SOME RESEARCH AND YOU WILL LEARN THAT THESE THINGS ARE PRAISED BY THEIR OWNERS! 93,000 ORIGINAL MILES IS "NOTHING FOR THE 4.0 LITER INLINE 6, WHEN PROPERLY MAINTAINED AND CARED FOR LIKE THIS ONE, SHE RUNS, SOUNDS AND DRIVES JUST LIKE A NEW ONE! THE BRAKES, SUSPENSION, EXHAUST AND DRIVELINE WAS FULLY INSPECTED BY MY MECHANIC, AND SHE PASSED WITH FLYING COLORS. THIS JEEP DOES NOT LEAK ANY FLUIDS, (WHICH IS RARE ON A 4.0 JEEP), THE OIL PRESSURE STAYS ABOVE 40 POUNDS, AND THE TEMP GUAGE STAYS RIGHT AT 210 DEGREES WHEN WARMED UP,  IT IS JUST AWESOME! THIS JEEP NEEDS NOTHING AT ALL! FLY IN AND DRIVE THIS ONE BACK HOME, TO WHEREVER THAT MAY BE WITH COMPLETE CONFIDENCE!

(IF YOU LOVE THIS JEEP, BUT ARE NOT CRAZY ABOUT THE ALL BLACK WHEELS AND EMBLEMS, WE CAN CHANGE THEM BACK TO THE ORIGINAL SILVER COLOR WITH NO TROUBLE AND NO EXTRA COST TO THE WINNING BIDDER, WE HAVE BEEN WANTING TO DO ONE LIKE THIS FOREVER, AND THOUGHT THIS WOULD BE THE PERFECT ONE TO DO IT ON, THAT BEING SAID YOU CAN HAVE HER ANYWAY YOU WISH)

Weekly Recap: Ferrari looks to reclaim old success with new manager

Sat, Nov 29 2014

Clearly, Ferrari doesn't race for fourth place, and this week, major changes continued at the Scuderia. It was a rough year for Ferrari, and the Scuderia conducted its season-ending tests in Abu Dhabi this week with a view toward a fresh start in 2015 with new leaders and a new ace driver. Though plenty of other Formula One teams were disappointed with their finishes in 2014, Ferrari was perhaps the most eager to put this season in its rear-view mirror. The Scuderia finished a distant fourth in the Constructors standings with 216 points, well behind No. 1 Mercedes (701 points), and Ferrari failed to win a single race as the Silver Arrows dominated the grid. It was an especially bitter pill for a team that claims 16 Constructors championships and 15 Drivers titles – the most in history – and is the only surviving team from F1's first season, 1950. Clearly, Ferrari doesn't race for fourth place, and this week, major changes continued at the Scuderia. Ferrari named Philip Morris executive Maurizio Arrivabene as team principal. He replaced Marco Mattiacci, who held the job for only seven months after taking over for Stefano Domenicali, who resigned in April amid the Scuderia's early-season struggles. Phillip Morris (through its Marlboro brand) is a key Ferrari sponsor, and that played a role in Arrivabene's ascension. Still, he's no stranger to F1, and has been intimately involved in the Ferrari-Marlboro partnership. He also has served as the sponsors' representative on the FIA's F1 Commission since 2010. In a statement, new Ferrari chairman Sergio Marchionne said: "We decided to appoint Maurizio Arrivabene because, at this historic moment in time for the Scuderia and for Formula One, we need a person with a thorough understanding not just of Ferrari, but also of the governance mechanisms and requirements of the sport." Arrivabene's background is primarily in marketing and communication, and most recently he held the title of vice president of consumer channel strategy and event marketing for Philip Morris. He has been with the company since 1997. Arrivabene now leads a team that's rife with change. Marchionne took over in October when longtime boss Luca di Montezemolo quit in a disagreement about Ferrari's future, and the company itself will be spun off from parent Fiat Chrysler Automobiles in 2015.

Infiniti looking for a new boss after Christian Meunier leaves to lead Jeep

Wed, May 8 2019

Nissan's premium division Infiniti is expected to announce a new acting global chief for the brand, the company said, after its current head, Christian Meunier, left to lead the Jeep unit of Fiat Chrysler Automobiles. Nissan's chief quality officer Christian Vandenhende will oversee Infiniti's global operations effective immediately, until a new brand chief is named, Infiniti said in the statement on Tuesday. Meunier, 51, was named Infinit's global chief in early January after its previous boss Roland Krueger left the Hong Kong-based brand. Meunier will take over as global president for SUV-focused Jeep effective immediately, Fiat Chrysler said in a separate statement. Fiat Chrysler CEO Mike Manley had been running Jeep until he was elevated to the top job in July after the death of Sergio Marchionne. Meunier has international experience from his years with Ford, Land Rover, Nissan and Infiniti, which may prove valuable as Jeep attempts to expand overseas with a lineup of new products including the Gladiator pickup, a Wrangler plug-in hybrid, and the revived Wagoneer and Grand Wagoneer nameplates. He's worked mostly in sales and marketing roles, including as senior vice president of sales, marketing and operations for Nissan North America; chairman of Nissan Canada; and his recent role heading up Infiniti. An Infiniti spokesman said Meunier's resignation was not related to Nissan's internal investigation into its former leader Carlos Ghosn.

The Apple of the auto industry isn't Tesla, it's Jeep

Mon, Apr 3 2017

Whenever Apple is going to have a new product for sale in its stores, the fanboys line up in such great numbers that it's surprising Ticketmaster hasn't figured out a way to capitalize on the multitude of anxious buyers with credit cards ready to go. When Elon Musk talks about a new car being added to the lineup, there is an analogous group of people, and Musk has cleverly set up a model in which people place deposits for their place in line. The number of deposits (two per customer only, it should be noted) for the Model 3 is some 400,000. Because Tesla is a Silicon Valley company that has a highly desirable, highly designed suite of products for which there is demand the likes of which is completely uncharacteristic for the category, it is often compared to Apple. After all, has anyone gotten into line to buy a Windows phone? Do you even remember the Zune? So it must be that Tesla is like Apple. But there is one nontrivial problem with this comparison: Apple sells its products in mass quantity. Tesla, even though it just had its best quarter ever, delivering a record 25,418 vehicles - up 69 percent over the first quarter of 2016 - is still, when compared to the car industry in general, selling a specialized product. No, the automotive brand most like Apple is Jeep. Just as with Apple's quickly identified design language - either for the physical phones and computers or the interfaces for same - there is no mistaking a Jeep. Like Apple's legion of fans, there are people for whom a Jeep is not merely a form of transportation, but a statement about one's way of life. Like the companies that wish they could have designs that are Apple-like and do their utmost to have a similar objects or appearances (sometimes landing them in court, a la Samsung), is there a single automotive company that wouldn't like to have some of Jeep's magic? While there aren't people who are lined up outside of dealerships when a new Jeep goes on sale, there is probably more interest in the forthcoming Wrangler than in the accumulation of interest in a half-dozen other vehicles from other companies. And like Apple, Jeep is a comparative volume play. Last year FCA US LLC delivered 926,376 Jeeps. Walter P. Chrysler and the Dodge Brothers must be spinning at high velocity in their graves, because the U.S. total for Chrysler brand was 231,972, and Dodge was 506,858. The sum of the two - 738,830 - is well shy of Jeep's sales. On a global basis, Jeep sold some 1.4 million units in 2016.
