I need to pay off a few credit card debts in order to buy my house and due to cancer last year I had to spend my savings and I hoped to of have had that savings replenished but its been a long and hard year coming back! So now I have to sell one of my trusted and most prized possessions My 1980 Levi's (yes it a Levi's and has the Levis rear seat in it as we speak but I would have it redone BUT I also bought a brand new rear seat as well) Jeep CJ7 with only 84000 original miles, it is not rusted out, has some surface rust here and there, but its easily cleaned off and if your going to finish this restoration then you'll be doing that anyways!
I cannot stress how amazing this jeep is and how much has already been done, how much has been paid in parts that still need to be replaced on it and how much of a great deal you'll be getting.
This Jeep after getting a new paint job will sell for 25- 35 grand. Think about it, original 100% CJ7, not a fiberglass tub or new steel tub, with all brand new parts and a paint job.. Frame off resto's with new tubs (fiberglass and steel) go from 25+ easily but 100% original jeeps go for a lot more and also if I have a 1980 CJ7 that's NOT rusted out at all and runs great, then that tells you how well maintained it was from the day it was bought, and to give you that background.. I am the 2nd owner the original was "Grandma" and she only used it to drive from her house down to her private beach which was on her horse farm a few miles down her property. . . So yeah, its pretty awesome to have found this deal and how excited I was to make this a brand new Jeep and have it as an investment for myself and my son, but again Id rather buy this house and have the down payment and then I will find another one another day. Plus I have a 1965 Scout 80 that I have finished 99% of its resto and will have it to drive but I do have a 1963 Scout 80 that runs fine and has had body work done to it that I am selling as well for 2500 obo. I used parts off of it for my 65 Scout 80 so if you want a Scout let me know. Scout 80"s are called the best investment vehicles by Time Magazine. They are so rare and hard to find these days, plus being the "1st Real All Wheel Drive SUV in America!" that was in Time Magazine, has made them quite sought after. I thought of taking the new 5.0 ford motor I have in my F150 (1995 and I am selling as well) and throwing it in the 63 Scout 80, but again. Health, Time and money has stumped these plans
It has the 6 Cylinder with not a leak on it and with already installed brand new:
Fuel Pump
Fuel Sending Unit
Brand New Master Cylinder
Belt
Alternator
Used Starter I got from eBay
PCV
Rebuilt Carb
Oil Sending Unit
Starter Coil
Ignition Module and more
The frame has new rust free steel and coated and welded on it to make the frame resistant to any chance of future rust and to also make the frame heavier so it will not flip as easily and in advance as well!
New brake lines
I have brand new gas lines for it and have already installed some
Brand New SkyJacker shocks and SkyJacker Steering Stabilizer
Brand new and installed fuel sending Unit
Brand new seat belts all around including a 3 Poitn one for the drivers seat.
And many more brand new and installed items from a deluxe console, brand new bestop seats and more. . . Lord knows I am forgetting so much I have bought and you ill get with this CJ7

Ooh and it has the Disc Brakes in the front.. I just saved you 698.00 in parts alone there!! A disc brake kit for the front on a CJ7 is at the min 598.00 and that's not including the labor!
Plus I literally have bought EVEYTHING YOU WILL NEED TO FINISH THIS RESTORATION... I mean every paycheck I went down the list of what the CJ7 has on it that needs to be replaced or goes bad or I knew would make it a "brand new jeep" from a brand new water pump, oil pump, I have brand new lights and the light accessory's all in chrome, a brand new hardware kit in chrome, all BRAND NEW BODY MOUNTS AND MOTOR MOUNTS and I bought all the good expensive synthetic ones, brand new water proof stereo, a complete rebuild gasket filter kit (Fel Pro with everything in the box aka rear main seals , oil pan, valve cover, but any gasket or filter I have brand new replacements for) since I was going to pop the motor out and do a complete overhaul. And I have a brand new in the box hydraulic engine hoist I'll add for 400. A brand new back seat, a brand new double back bumper, bought from Smity-Built plus its has the longer and wider with the chain hook installed and the frame was welded and made to be able to correctly accommodate a winch and is very rare and sought after original winch bumper kit already installed from the factory (no winch though), it has the rare Acme hard top and doors, along with brand new bestop top (the one for just the roof not the whole jeep) brand new bestop half doors, brand new mirrors and more. I have kept every receipt and all the parts unused are still in their brand new packaging. I am not listing everything I have bought for it but I can say with confidence you're getting such a great deal.

I stress I do not want to sell this jeep and I will not tolerate tire kickers and people trying to lowball me for seeing some rust or the Jeep needs to be towed for I don't think it'll be a good idea to drive it until you have the brakes bleed. I started too, but I am too busy to get this all done. It'll start up with ease and you can of course hear it run, but I personally would just have it towed!
Now for all the future questions. . . Yes I do accept trades.. You trade me your money for my CJ7 or you have a trade that I can quickly sell o acquire the same funds I am selling it for, so I can pay m debts off and buy my house.
I will not reply to "What's the lowest you'll go down on it?" If you're serious come and look at it, look at the brand new parts you're getting and throw me an offer.
Again, I only want serious people with a return email and after I know you're not a scam I will trade phone numbers and times.

If I can get the loan I want I WILL NOT SELL THIS JEEP, and I am hoping I do so that I do not have to sell this Jeep so also, get this Jeep before that loan happens or it'll be gone until my son is 26 and he's 9 now! (I will have a lien on it on purpose lol that way he cannot sell it too early) and I am serious about that! If I am going to go ahead and have the body repainted and have it completely done body wise to make it look amazing then its staying in the family. I am asking BEST OFFER but please dont think you are going to get this for free and if you know your jeeps you know that all youd need to do is literally get a paint job, install the additional items and thats it!

The Jeep is also listed via eBay and if it sells there first, then I am sorry. . . But its spring, almost summer and these jeeps go like hotcakes this time of year!

I truly don't want to lose this Jeep, but I have to pay these bills! And I know I a forgetting a lot of brand new parts i have bought, but thatll only make your purchase even more sweet!

I also have Square credit Card reader so you can charge the rest via card upon arrival if that works.  I am selling locally so i have the right to cancel the auction at any time

Fiat-Chrysler shows its SEMA lineup

Fri, 24 Oct 2014

Fiat Chrysler Automobiles already previewed its 2014 SEMA show lineup with some slick renders. Now, the automaker has finally showed us the actual cars, and among the group there are definitely some that stand out more than others.
Dodge is really showing off its muscle at this year's show with four concepts that all pump up the power of the brand's models. Perhaps most interesting among them is the Challenger T/A Concept (pictured above) in striking Sublime Green and matte black. It's meant to resemble the classic Trans Am racer from the '70s. Under the hood is a 6.4-liter V8, and to fit the vintage style there's a pistol-grip gearshift inside.
The Charger R/T also gets some attention with the Mopar concept that shows off what FCA's aftermarket performance arm can do. Mods include an updated body kit, cold-air intake for the 5.7-liter V8 and a coil-over suspension kit. Beyond that, the Dart R/T Concept looks a lot meaner with a black hood with duct work that leads straight to the air intake. The rest of the compact sedan is dolled up in O-So-Orange paint and is fitted with upgrades to improve handling like a coil-over suspension and big brake kit from the Mopar catalog.

Jeep dealer buries WWII Willys GP in showroom floor

Tue, 04 Nov 2014

The Willys MB Jeep earned icon status during World War II thanks to its ruggedness, simplicity and go-anywhere ability. Following the war, it didn't take long for the handy vehicles to be scooped up by the public, and a brand slowly grew around the vehicles that has continued to thrive. Fast-forward to present day, where it's not uncommon for auto dealers to try to grab some of the magic of yesteryear by displaying classic models to connect customers with their brands' proud histories. Now, a Canadian Chrysler Group dealer is taking that notion to the extreme by actually making a vintage WWII Jeep part of its foundation.
Bay King Chrysler in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada, recently completed its new showroom, and the franchise really wanted to show its dedication to the Jeep brand. As dealer principal Jamie Richter tells Autoblog, the inspiration for the Jeep installation came from his brother, who became fascinated with a home that had a glass floor looking down into its wine cellar. The company already had the 1943 Willys MB to display, but it had originally planned to build a jungle gym around it for customers' kids. Now, the classic is literally in the floor as customers enter. Richter tells Autoblog that customer reaction so far has been "fantastic."
It's certainly a novel way to bring people into the showroom, and seemingly a nice nod not only to Jeep, but to the men and women who served in the war. If you want to see more about how the Jeep was actually installed and what it looks like, check out this video.

2019 Jeep Cherokee and Cherokee Trailhawk spotted in Pittsburgh

Mon, Nov 20 2017

The current Jeep Cherokee debuted for the 2014 model year, meaning it's about due for a refresh. When it was revealed, the controversial styling and front-wheel-drive-based platform caused a stir among the Jeep crowd. While there isn't much Jeep can do about the platform at this point, it seems the automaker's designers have a much more traditional refresh in the works. Thanks to Autoblog readers Matthew Young and Mike Bothwell, we have a new batch of spy shots, include a couple of the new Cherokee Trailhawk. The refreshed Cherokee looks to crib quite a bit from the new Jeep Compass. Rather than splitting the front lighting like before, the driving lights, headlights and turn signals are all one unit. The whole fascia seems to be a bit more upright than before, though the grille is still canted backward. Out back, the Cherokee gets new taillights that feature clear lenses, again similar to the Compass. The rear bumper gets a mild refresh, too. The reflectors move up, and the Trailhawk's exhaust looks like it moves further inward. One of the Cherokees seems to have a crushed pipe, suggesting some unlucky engineer had a mishap. The red tow hook looks to be in about the same place. No word on when the Cherokee will go one sale, but expect some news as soon as the Detroit auto show in January.
