Great Condition Classic Made in England

We have a classic Jaguar 1990 XJS V-12 coupe for sale. This car is white with pinstripes. It runs beautifully and has a flexible suspension. The interior has leather seats and wood paneling. I love driving this car down the highway during the summer but we need the space in the garage. I would love to see this car go to a home where it can be given the attention I wish I could give it. Terms available on the car. See craigslist post  for contact info.

The jag has a couple of very small dents, coin sized which could be easily removed by a shop. Just a few scratches and scuffs. There is also some minor damage to the paneling near the driver's side headlamp. Some of the wood paneling near the transmission selector has started to crack from age, unfortunately. All of it basic damage that I would expect from a classic, powerful car that was loved instead of kept in the garage.

Asking $5000 Or Best Offer- We no longer have garage space for this car unfortunately

Jaguar-Land Rover builds millionth vehicle at Halewood

Fri, 29 Nov 2013

Jaguar-Land Rover is not what you'd call a volume automaker by any stretch of the imagination. But in the dozen years since it started manufacturing at its Halewood plant near Liverpool, England, the automaker has already built its millionth vehicle.
The landmark vehicle is a Range Rover Evoque, done up in white with red roof and mirrors, black wheels and a red and black interior. The crossover is set to be donated to Cancer Research UK, which will auction it off next year to help fund its projects in the north-west of the country.
Halewood started manufacturing the Jaguar X-Type in 2001, then went on to assemble the Land Rover LR2 / Freelander 2 before taking on production of the Evoque a year and a half ago. The facility reached the 300,000-unit milestone just last year as production moved to a 24-hour cycle for the first time in either marque's history.

Take a trip down Jaguar's memory lane with Xcar

Sat, 19 Jul 2014

For decades, Jaguar has been a company of two minds. On one hand, there are its luxurious, British saloon cars. They might be quick, even sporty, but when it comes down to it, they usually put a focus on comfort and accommodations above all. On the other hand, Jag has its sports cars to really get its buyers' blood pumping. Think about it: the XJ might look pretty sweet, but you know deep down that you would rather take the F-Type for a spirited drive, reveling in its snorty exhaust note. In its latest video, Xcar Films takes us on a very enjoyable history lesson covering some of the Brit brand's most exciting models ever.
Xcar hits all of the highlights, starting with the often-overlooked C-Type from early '50s with its somewhat bulbous shape. Things then progress to the drop-dead gorgeous D-Type. The one in this video is actually the first ever made and therefore worth a fortune. Because of that, the host isn't really able to get too aggressive, but it's fantastic to get an idea of what it's like to experience being behind the wheel of this icon. Finally, it ends with a Series 1 E-Type. This was when the classic model was still something of a sports car; instead of the grand tourer that the E-Type became in its later days.
All three of these cars are legends in their own right, and maybe one day the F-Type could be too. Scroll down for a history lesson on some of Jaguar's best sports cars.
