 1989 Jaguar XJS One look at this Jaguar XJS and you will just know, this is your ride. The powerful 12 cyl engine accelerates strongly and more than holds its own in the toughest of traffic. A thorough inspection has shown this car to be in tip-top condition with no need for any major mechanical work. The cosmetics of the exterior will reveal some very minor scuffs and blems in the finish but only under close examination. All in all, it is a very clean looking ride. While not totally new looking, the interior is quite nice and clean with no stains or tears in it and is very presentable. The jaguar runs great there is a couple things are need some attention, the front driver side control arm will need new bushing, the driver side window regulator stopped working. This is California car all of it's life so there is absolutely no rust anywhere. The Autocheck report confirmed that the car only had 2 owners. Stunning Jaguar E-Type Lightweight tribute featured by Petrolicious
Tue, 17 Dec 2013This is a Series 1 Jaguar E-Type Coupe. Enzo Ferrari, Il Commendatore himself, called it "the most beautiful car ever made." It can count among its owners Steve McQueen, Brigitte Bardot and a number of other celebrities from the 1960s. It remains one of the prettiest and coolest cars ever.
While we don't normally prescribe to modifying classics like the E-Type, cars that are used for vintage racing, like this particular example, are certainly the exception. It's owned by Jason Len and is the subject of the latest video from the team at Petrolicious.
Len's 1964 E-Type has been fashioned to look like one of the rare Lightweight E-Types from 1963 and 1964. The aluminum-bodied E-Types, of which only a dozen were built, were all intended exclusively for racing, much like Len's heavily modified example. While it retains the 3.8-liter straight-six, its engine, transmission, suspension, brakes and body have been extensively tweaked and fettled to allow this classic Jag to compete with a field of V8s.

Jaguar bringing all-wheel-drive F-Type to LA Auto Show [w/video]
Thu, 06 Nov 2014Jaguar's big splash at last year's Los Angeles Auto Show was showing off the slinky F-Type Coupe; perhaps one of the loveliest car shapes on the road today. This year the company won't have a show-stopping new design to offer, but the news that all-wheel drive is coming to the F-Type range is, nevertheless, pretty spectacular.
Mixed in with news about a technical partnership between Jaguar and the Bloodhound SSC World Land Speed Record program, the British brand announced this morning that it will show the first AWD F-Type Coupe at the 2014 LA show later this month.
Jaguar tells us that the sure-footed cat, in AWD F-Type R Coupe form, will run from 0-60 miles per hour in just 3.9 seconds, with a limited top speed of 186 mph.
