This is one fine Jaguar. You can always tell in the first few seconds and minutes, when you are looking at a great quality and very well maintained vehicle, with outstanding design and engineering. This 1990 Jaguar has 111,996 miles, and it is hard to find any difference than what a 10,000 mile Jaguar would be. Excellent British Racing green color, with full length Gold accent body stripe. Original Jaguar chrome wire wheels, very classy and elegant and in perfect condition.Four Tiger Paw tires on the ground and a full size Pirelli spare in the trunk.Excellent light camel tan leather interior. Matching Walnut wood dash and interior door inserts.Automatic transmission with sport shift option. All glass, lighting, signals, exhaust are in perfect condition. No under body leaks of any kind. Lighted sun visor vanity mirror for both the driver and front seat passenger. Lighted rear passenger lighting on back of front seat headrests. Original owners leather case with owners manual and 276 page service manual. The more you are around this Jaguar, the more you will like it. Top quality styling, workmanship, handling, riding, and performance.Elderly owned, I do not go over 55 mph.I have owned over fifty Cadillacs, in my day, and this Jaguar, is head and shoulders above any Cad. Just no comparison. The only two minor flaws are the leather cover, on the between seat console,at the rear is loose. and a quarter size blemish. just above the rear bumper, not noticeable unless I point it out to you. These two minors are so slight, as to not need attention at this time. With all this being said, the Lady in your life, will just adore this Jaguar.Class. Elegance. Quality. Your satisfaction is assured. " I Guarantee it." Sixty years I have been in business, and this is my Top Pick. Best regards, Sam. Jaguar demanding customer data from reluctant dealers
Tue, 25 Feb 2014
Nearly every major business is collecting consumer data these days, and keeping that data secure has come to the forefront of many customer's minds. Jaguar Land Rover North America's decision to begin requesting more customer info from its dealer network appears unfortunately timed, however. If it had come a few years ago, it might have been ignored, but in today's climate of heightened awareness, a few dealers are pushing back. To put the showrooms in an even tougher position, JLR NA is threatening to deny quarterly incentives if they do not turn over the customer data, according to Automotive News.
JLR NA instated the nationwide plan, which it calls Single View CRM, on February 7, but according to Stuart Schorr, Jaguar Land Rover North America Vice President of Communications, the automaker has been negotiating with its dealers to institute the new program for over a year. Schorr tells Autoblog that no financial information is being shared, noting that such data is limited to customer details, including things like what vehicles they own and whether they have any pending service. The initiative is meant to "improve customers' and owners' engagement with the brand," he said. Also, the company is not accessing dealer data itself; instead showrooms are asked to enter the info into JLR's database.
Jaguar XE teased in new video, will debut September 8
Fri, 05 Sep 2014Outside of a major auto show, this might be one of the best times of the year for new car debuts, and we couldn't be more excited. Just this week, the low-slung face of the next-generation Mazda MX-5 Miata showed itself to the world, and Land Rover debuted its new Discovery Sport. Plus, there's a double-whammy of launches on the imminent horizon with the unveilings of the Jaguar XE on September 8 and the Mercedes-AMG GT on September 9.
Jag is teasing the launch of its latest midsize luxury sedan with a few glimpses on video. It's strangely secretive, given the fact that Jaguar showed the XE's face completely un-camouflaged a few weeks ago. Regardless, it's quite a looker up front with a sleeker take on the shape of the larger XF.
Because of the way Jaguar is slowly leaking details about the XE, there are a few other things we already know about this new cat, too. It rides on a monocoque chassis made from over 75 percent aluminum, and the automaker is promising 75 miles per gallon fuel economy on the more lenient European cycle for at least one engine in the lineup.
Jaguar C-X17 resurfaces in China with gold finish, five-seat cabin [w/video]
Sun, 24 Nov 2013Some concept cars make the rounds of the auto shows and are then retired. But a number of automakers are showing that a fresh coat of paint can go a long way towards rejuvenating a show car and giving it a new lease on life - at least as far as the auto show circuit is concerned. Lexus did that recently with the LF-LC concept, initially unveiling it in red at the 2012 Detroit Auto Show, then repainting it a dark shade of blue for the subsequent shows in Australia and LA. Mini did the same with the Rocketman concept. And now Jaguar has done it again with its C-X17.
Initially unveiled in electric blue at the Frankfurt Motor Show, Jaguar then rolled the crossover out again in liquid silver for the Dubai Motor Show earlier this month. Now the concept is back again at the Guangzhou Motor Show in China with a fresh coat of rose gold.
Looking decidedly more luxurious than the previous iterations, this gilded C-X17 concept also bears another change: while the previous versions featured a four-seat cabin, this one has been redone with a more conventional five-seat configuration that more buyers would likely go for. It's also got a new interactive infotainment system and another system that warns passengers of pedestrians or cyclists approaching from the rear before they open the door. Check it out in the high-res image gallery above and the video clip below for a closer look.
