2008 Honda Odyssey Minivan Ex-l Res In Near Perfect Shape on 2040-cars
Fort Lauderdale, Florida, United States
This vehicle was purchased new in 2008 as a lease. I bought out the lease in 2010 and am the only owner. It has been female owned and driven since day 1. I have taken excellent care of my van. I just replaced the brakes in September of 2013 and replaced the tires as well.
I purchased a transferrable warranty that covers the drivetrain until 186,000 miles or June of 2016, whichever comes first. It has been in two minor accidents. One time a kid hit my rear bumper and just damaged the paint a bit, that was repaired. Another accident was when this idiot hit my side door when she was backing up. That was repaired as well. Everything on the vehicle functions just as when it was new. There is one area on the drivers side Captains seat that has the leather wearing away. I was quoted $250 to repair it. If my reserve is met, I will have the repair done before you get the van. You can see the NADA value in the photos. BTW, Carmax will never allow you to look up NADA values in their stores since that is what they use when selling your vehicle. They block the website so you cannot see what your vehicle is really worth. They only offered me $9000. |

2013 North American Car and Truck/Utility of the Year finalists announced [w/poll]
Wed, 12 Dec 20122012 is almost in the books and automakers are spending December gearing up for the 2013 auto show season, which tips off next month at the Detroit Auto Show. Traditionally, the latter opens up with the announcement of the North American Car and Truck/Utility of the Year awards, and this year figures to be no different.
But up until this moment, we didn't know which six vehicles would be parked ahead of the stage as finalists, with executives and engineers waiting for the winners to be disclosed. Whittled down from October's "short list" of nominees (11 cars and 10 truck/utility vehicles), the finalists are as follows:
2013 North American Car of the Year:
2013 Honda Accord Coupe V6 6MT
Fri, 21 Dec 2012One of the first cars I reviewed for Autoblog was - say it with me now - a 2010 Honda Accord Coupe EX-L V6 w/Navi 6MT, perhaps the rarest of all modern Accord models. I mean, think about it: Of all the different Accord variants on the road, how many are coupes? And how many of those have the larger V6 engine? And how many of those are fully loaded with leather, navigation and all the trimmings? And finally, how many of those have option sheets where the only box that isn't checked is the automatic transmission?
That has to be something like one percent of one percent, right?
So when Honda started rolling its all-new 2013 Accord into the test fleet, I was happy to hear that yet another Coupe EX-L V6 w/Navi 6MT model was available out of the Detroit pool. And while this really isn't the car that serves as the control for judging the entire Accord line, it's still one heck of a sweetheart.
Honda recalling 871,000 SUVs and minivans over rollaway fear
Wed, 12 Dec 2012Honda is recalling 871,000 SUVs and minivans for an issue in which the vehicles may roll away after the key has been removed from the ignition. Ninety-two percent of the recalled vehicles, or 807,000 vehicles, are in the US. According to a report from Reuters, the effected vehicles include certain numbers of the Honda Odyssey and Pilot, as well as the Acura MDX. Here are the recall figures:
2003-2004 Honda Odyssey: 318,000 vehicles
2003-2004 Honda Pilot: 259,000 vehicles
