1999 Gmc Yukon on 2040-cars
Magnolia, Delaware, United States
Price Reduced to $ 4600 OBO !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I am selling my 1999 GMC Yukon Denali. As much as I like the vehicle, my wife
prefers to ride in the not as nice 1999 Tahoe that I have instead (she loves
the push bar and the taillight guards). I have updated the pictures in the listing. The spots in the driveway are a result of having the car washed prior to taking pictures. There are no leaks !!!!!!!!!!!!!! Within the past 2 months it has had the following service
done. I am very anal about all my
vehicles and they might not be new, but they are going to run like new. The exterior is in good shape, the paint is shiny and the vehicle has minor rocks chips and nicks here and there consistent with that of a 1999 vehicle. The driver’s side door handle is cracked but it does not interfere with opening the door in any way. The tan on beige two tone interior is very clean and with
all the amenities including the heated seats which work like new. I have also added a nice Dash mat dash cover
to prevent the sun from being a distraction while driving. The vehicle is equipped with a factory tow package, Bose
sound system, and two-tone leather with the driver’s seat showing minor
wear. I have had the front two windows
professionally tint matched with the rest of the vehicle’s factory tint. The Diehard battery is about a year old. The Goodyear tires have about half tread remaining and are all matching. Within the past 1500 miles the following service has been performed totaling over $ 1300 with parts and labor. I have receipts to document this and all work was completed at a local shop that I reguarly use. 1.
Brake
pressure switch replaced (Duralast - Lifetime Warranty). 2.
Intake manifold gaskets replaced (plenum gaskets
too) - top quality Felpro gaskets used – will never have to be redone 3.
Cap / Rotor replaced – Duralast Gold (5 year
warranty) 4.
Plugs – AC Delco 5.
Wires – Belden (NAPA) 6.
Water Pump (NAPA) 7.
Idler and tensioner pulley 8.
Serpentine belt 9. Upper and lower radiator hoses 10. New Thermostat and Radiator cap 11.
Headlights buffed and polished / all bulbs
replaced 12.
New Front wiper blades This vehicle comes with two ignition keys, two key fobs (remotes), and two console keys. The vehicle also includes a XM/Sirius Radio Antenna / FM Modulator hard wired The vehicle has a clean Delaware Title and it is ready to be signed over to the new owner. I am asking $ 4800 OBO, please do not send me insulting offers and I do not need to sell this vehicle. I can assist in shipping if necessary and local pickup is also available. I can show the vehicle anytime during the auction, and I
can be reached at 302-270-4984 with any questions. Thanks Steven |

2014 GMC Sierra [w/video]
Mon, 29 Jul 2013Big And Boxy Might Be Best
As immense fans of the Back to the Future trilogy, we sometimes like to envision an alternate timeline in which General Motors had killed off GMC and kept Pontiac instead. The G8 GXP would still be on the road handily beating German sport sedans costing twice as much, while the lowly G3 would morph into a true subcompact-killer based on what is now the Chevrolet Sonic RS. While we're at it, let's go ahead and imagine the G6 has become the best-selling car in the US and the Torrent crossover is selling 20,000+ units per month. Far-fetched, we know.
The thing is, these fanciful statements would have to be true to make the case against keeping GMC. Pontiac may have offered more excitement than GMC, but money talks, and a full line of trucks, crossovers and SUVs have made a lot more money for GM than the arrowhead brand ever did. How much? As we learned last month, about two-thirds of GM's global profits came from its fullsize trucks, and GMC's trucks typically have thicker margins than their Chevrolet counterparts.
2020 GMC Acadia refresh brings a new engine, AT4 trim level
Mon, Feb 18 2019It's mid-cycle refresh time for the GMC Acadia, and the updated 2020 model kicks off its changes with a new face. It has a square-jawed grille seemingly pulled straight off the Sierra full-size pickup, and the size is amplified by the slender new LED headlights on either side. At the rear, the LED taillights are taller and more chiseled. A new AT4 trim level adds more visual distinction with black trim and wheels, plus all-terrain tires to make it a little more capable off road. The AT4 also boasts standard all-wheel drive. Under the revised skin, the Acadia hides one of two carryover engines, or a new turbocharged 2.0-liter inline-4. This new engine makes 230 horsepower and 258 pound-feet of torque with the help of a twin-scroll turbocharger. To make it more frugal, it's able to deactivate two of its four cylinders. The turbo engine is standard issue on the SLT and Denali trim levels. The carryover engines include a naturally aspirated 2.5-liter 4-cylinder making 193 horsepower and 188 pound-feet of torque, and a naturally aspirated 3.6-liter V6 making 310 horsepower and 271 pound-feet of torque. The V6 is standard equipment on the AT4 trim. No matter the engine, all 2020 Acadias get a 9-speed automatic transmission. The new transmission also ditches the current Acadia's mechanical shift lever in favor of an electronic shifter with the Terrain's mix of buttons and triggers. It does free up space between the seats, but the button arrangement is still as strange as it was when we first saw it in the smaller crossover. There are a handful of other little upgrades to mention. The suspension has been revised for greater comfort; the infotainment has been revised with a bigger screen, USB-C inputs and customizable profiles; and wireless phone charging is now an option. The updated Acadia goes on sale this fall, and pricing will probably be announced close to launch.
Autoblog's Editors' Picks: Our complete list of the best new vehicles
Mon, May 13 2024It's not easy to earn an “EditorsÂ’ Picks” at Autoblog as part of the rating and review process that every new vehicle goes through. Our editors have been at it a long time, which means weÂ’ve driven and reviewed virtually every new car you can go buy on the dealer lot. There are disagreements, of course, and all vehicles have their strengths and weaknesses, but this list features what we think are the best new vehicles chosen by Autoblog editors. We started this formal review process back in 2018, so there's quite of few of them now. So what does it mean to be an EditorsÂ’ Pick? In short, it means itÂ’s a car that we can highly recommend purchasing. There may be one, multiple, or even zero vehicles in any given segment that we give the green light to. What really matters is that itÂ’s a vehicle that weÂ’d tell a friend or family member to go buy if theyÂ’re considering it, because itÂ’s a very good car. The best way to use this list is is with the navigation links below. Click on a segment, and you'll quickly arrive at the top rated pickup truck or SUV, for example. Use the back button to return to these links and search in another segment, like sedans. If youÂ’ve been keeping up with our monthly series of the latest vehicles to earn EditorsÂ’ Pick status, youÂ’re likely going to be familiar with this list already. If not, welcome to the complete list that weÂ’ll be keeping updated as vehicles enter (and others perhaps exit) the good graces of our editorial team. We rate a new car — giving it a numerical score out of 10 — every time thereÂ’s a significant refresh or if it happens to be an all-new model. Any given vehicle may be impressive on a first drive, but we wait until itÂ’s in the hands of our editors to put it through the same type of testing as every other vehicle that rolls through our test fleet before giving it the EditorsÂ’ Pick badge. This ensures consistency and allows more voices to be heard on each individual model. And just so you donÂ’t think weÂ’ve skipped trims or variants of a model, we hand out the EditorsÂ’ Pick based on the overarching model to keep things consistent. So, when you read that the 3 Series is an EditorsÂ’ Pick, yes, that includes the 330i to the M3 and all the variants in between. If thereÂ’s a particular version of that car we vehemently disagree with, we make sure to call that out.
