The new Thunderbirds marked the first challenge to Corvettes and the success of the new sports car proved Ford to be quite a formidable competitor. Offered here is an incredibly honest and correct example, displaying a nicely mellowed restoration by marquee expert and comes fully documented from new with records, ownership history and original window sticker.

Acquired from the long-term owner of 30 years, this very drivable T-bird began life as a promotional vehicle for the Keller Brothers Motor Company in Buffalo Spring, Pennsylvania. Subsequently, the car was passed to only two following and very discerning caretakers, all while accumulating every record since new! An original soft top only car, this Thunderbird also comes equipped with the desirable manual transmission, correct 292ci engine with a 410 cfm T-Bird Holley carburetor, factory dress kit, power steering, radio and heater among others. Proper rubber stampings are displayed in their proper locations with all equipment and auxiliaries are correctly presented.

The documentation that accompanies this car is exciting as it is impressive. A file folder containing almost three decades of ownership, history, and service records accompanies the sale. Included are the original window sticker, letters, restoration receipts, post cards, and much more. T-Birds are readily available in all sorts of condition and price ranges but to find such an example that is rich in history and optioned with a rare manual transmission will be difficult to find. This car received an exacting restoration about 20 years ago and today it still remains in striking condition although no longer a show car.
