1969 FORD RANCHERO AND A 1928 FORD A MODEL BOTH ARE NEAR COMPLETE. THE RANCHERO NEEDS WEATHERSTRIPPNG AROUND THE DOORS AND THE MOLDING PUT BACK ON AND SOME MISC WORK.RANCHERO HAS NEW FLOORPANS FRONT AND BACK. THE 28 NEED WIRING AND TURN SIGNALS AND LINKAGE HOOKED UP AND THE HOOD MOUNTED. RANCHERO STARTS AND DRIVES GREAT. PAINT JOB IS NOT THAT GREAT BUT I BELEIVE WET SANDING WILL FIX ALOT OF IT. THE 28 WILL START BUT I CANT KEEP IT RUNNING I BELEIVE IT IS IN THE CARB BUT I AM NOT SURE. IF YOUR LOOKING TO BUILD A RAT ROD OR SPEEDSTER ITS A GOOD START TOWARD ONE. I BELEIVE I HAVE EVERTHING TO COMPLETE BOTH CARS EXCEPT THE WEATHERSTRIPPING FOR THE 69 AND THE TURN SIGNALS FOR THE 28. CLEAR TITLE FOR THE 69. BILL OF SALE FOR THE 28. PICK UP IN RICHMOND VA. Ford Australia debuts Ranger-based Everest SUV concept
Tue, 13 Aug 2013Ford has been in hot water in Australia ever since it announced plans to end local production of the Falcon and Territory SUV. Besides canceling a model that is to Oz what the Mustang is to America, the end of production means more than a few folks will be out of work.
Keen to prove that it has a plan for the market, Ford has unveiled the Aussie-penned Everest Concept, a rough-and-tumble, seven-seat SUV. While not a direct replacement for the aging Territory (that role will eventually be filled by either the Edge or Flex, according to Car Advice) it's an indication from Ford's brass that the Blue Oval is still committed to Australia.
To prove that fact, Alan Mullaly, Mark Fields, Jim Farley and regional execs descended on Sydney for the debut of the new concept. Ford's Australian president and CEO, Bob Graziano, said of the Everest, "Our customers, our employees and Australia can be assured that we're connected to the nation and committed to our customers through terrific products with class-leading technologies."
Ford recalling 205k Edge and Lincoln MKX units for possible corrosion

For those readers in much of the country, the snow is going to be flying soon, and with it comes salt on the roads. That means Ford's regional recall for the 2007-2008 Edge and Lincoln MKX arrives at the perfect time because they are at risk for corrosion.
The campaign covers 204,448 examples of the models in 21 states, plus the District of Columbia and some provinces of Canada. In total there are 186,024 vehicles in need of repair in the US and 18,424 in Canada.
According to Ford, it's possible for the area, "under the reinforcement brackets where the fuel tank is mounted" to corrode. If this happens, there might be a gas smell in the vehicle or even a fuel leak could develop. In fact, the automaker reports that one fire could be related to the problem but no injuries or accidents are reported.
