You are looking and a very nice Street Rod that was built as a street rod and finished in 2000 and titled in 2001. The truck was professionally built with no expense spared.  This one of, if not the first, Brookville Roadster Pickup body made. Brookville Roadster is the best all steel maker of 1928-32 Ford bodies. They are made exactly like the originals, with the same thickness steel, and Henry Ford could not tell which is original and that which was made by Brookville. The parts are so exact they are interchangeable with originals. This particular truck was pictured on the front of their sales catalog and transported to many shows around the country to promote sales. The truck at that time was just a well built body and rolling chassis. The truck was sold and the custom build was started. The truck speaks for itself and was built using the finest products and accessories. The truck would cost over $100,000.00 to build today.

I have attached a picture of a current Brookville Roadster Pickup kit to show the basic kit price. Keep in mind the kit price doesn't include fenders, high end components, Motor, transmission,or drive train. As you can see it would be very easy to spend $100,000. I have attached a ton of pictures and a link to a video. The following is an incomplete list I am sure of the major features of the truck:

1930 Ford Model A Roadster Pickup No Rust Ever (titled as a 1930 Ford)
1932 Roadster Grill, Cowl, and Front Bumper
All steel body, the only fiberglass are the grill cowl and front fenders
Brookville Roadster Body (smooth cowl cover, smooth doors, 4" recessed firewall, flat floor, 32 style dash, steel floor)
Brookville Roadster Steel Chassis with front and rear cross members, center support
Front Parallel 4 link stainless steel with cross steer, dropped axles and disc brakes
Brookville Roadster Pickup bed (ford script tailgate with hidden pins, roll pan, stainless strips, wood bed finished on both sides, polished bolts)
Brookville Roadster complete top kit with curtains (stainless steel and oak frame)
350 Chevy crate motor completely rebuilt from a 1969-73 Camaro (code GM 3970014)
Turbo 350 Transmission totally rebuilt (No Shift Kit)
1850 Original Miles since build was completed.
Corvette Yellow Paint
Tan Tweed Interior including door panels and kick panels.
Carpeted over steel floor boards.
Carpeted Firewall
Tan Top with side curtains
Smooth Steel Painted Engine side covers. I always run without to show off motor.
Billett Specialties 15 inch polished aluminum wheels with Michlens
Ford 9 Inch Rear with Drum Brakes
Stainless steel brake lines
Centech Wiring Panel
Four Bar Rear with Coil Overs
Block Hugger Performance Headers
Edelbrock four barrel 1406 carb with electric choke
Weiand Polished Aluminum Intake
Chrome Oil pan
Chrome Alt
Billet polished aluminum Alt Bracket
Polished and Painted Ribbed Aluminum Nostalgia Valve Covers
Finned Aluminum Air Cleaner
Twin Saddle Tanks with switch
Walker Radiator
Electric Cooling Fan
Fully Smooth Painted Engine Side Covers
Rear roll pan with installed tail lights
Lighted rear tag area
Ididit Brushed Aluminum tilt wheel
Leather Wrapped Lecarra Polished  Billet Steering Wheel
Mullin Billet Vega steering box
Gennie Shifter with piston shift knob
Polished Aluminum 5 gauge cluster with three indicator lights
VDO Gauges all work properly
Running lights and blinkers
Ford Script horn button and horn works properly
Ford Script tailgate with hidden latch pins
Perfect Bed with finished wood, stainless steel slats, and paint and wood finished on all areas top and bottom.

Flaws: There are a few minor scratches that have been touched up. The largest was where the engine side covers attach at bottom. The gas gauge bounces but is accurate for both tanks, top some minor color fade but is in excellent condition. Minor paint rub on very small area inside door jambs (normal for all model A's and not viewable with doors closed)

The list goes on and on and on and I can't remember it all. I am not going to give this car away.
I have also made a video of the truck copy and past the following in your browser  http://youtu.be/MRmfJCcb-5A

Email if you want more pictures, the bottom very clean and detailed.

Any questions please call steve at 410-533-8044 the truck is located in Montross Virginia, one hour East from Fredricksburg Virginia come take a look and hear her run.

I am open to reasonable offers but I won't give it away.

I will assist with loading for your shipper. I live on a nice road and any size truck can get easily to my front door. I will assist with loading the vehicle for shipping. However I will not take the vehicle to a shipping terminal.

You are welcome to come view the vehicle or have someone come inspect it. I will not however let you or your inspector drive this vehicle. I will take you for a test ride but I have too much money invested to let a stranger drive my truck.

The vehicle has won best in show and its latest win was last week with a top 50 win in a very large 60th anniversary show (2nd place to 50th place received same trophy). I was told I was in the top 10.

And the Top Gear UK Cars of the Year for 2013 are...

Tue, 17 Dec 2013

Those loony Brits at Top Gear have named their Car of the Year, and if you're thinking it's the McLaren P1, Jaguar F-Type, Land Rover Range Rover Sport or Rolls-Royce Wraith, we're sorry to inform you that none of those Anglo automobiles earned the crown. In fact, the winner of Top Gear's most prestigious award is quite the surprise.
Of course, those cars weren't without their own awards. The P1 was the top hypercar (sorry, Porsche 918 and Ferrari LaFerrari), while the F-Type netted best convertible and the Range Rover Sport was voted SUV of the Year. Other honorable mentions included the Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG Black and S-Class, the Porsche 911 GT3, the BMW i3 and the Ferrari 458 Speciale. The winner, though, wasn't even a high-dollar supercar. It was the Ford Fiesta ST.
Yes, the Fiesta ST beat out some off-the-wall cars like the revolutionary Volkswagen XL1 and the bonkers Peugeot 208 T16 Pikes Peak, not to mention all the cars we listed above, to take the title of Top Gear Car of the Year. And if you've driven one, you'll completely understand why.

Ford will probably never offer two RS models at the same time

Mon, 18 Mar 2013

Autocar has some sour news for fans of go-fast Ford products. According to Roelant de Waard, Ford's president of marketing in Europe, the automaker will probably never offer more than one RS performance model for sale at the same time. That statement runs contrary earlier rumblings that suggested Ford would launch its next-generation Focus RS in 2015 and follow the hatch with a spate of other vehicles with an RS badge. But de Waard has made it clear that Ford of Europe is now focused on squarely on the next Mustang, even though there may be more RS models on the way eventually.
"What is clear is that the RS shouldn't be a series, or a car badge that we have in our portfolio all the time. It is an extreme car - something more than ST," he said.
That philosophy makes plenty of sense. We loved the old Focus RS - shown above in RS500 trim - because it was generally bonkers and plenty exclusive. Diluting either aspect is sure to end in disappointment for everyone involved.

Ford's official Euro aftermarket partner Mountune coming to US

Tue, 06 Aug 2013

Now that we're getting a steady stream of Ford's European offerings, the aftermarket world is finally starting to catch up as well. UK-based aftermarket tuning company, Mountune has just announced that it will be setting up shop in California to provide high-performance and racing parts for Ford vehicles including the Focus ST and Fiesta ST.
Mountune lays claim to being Ford's "official European tuning partner," and US buyers will soon have access to these parts through Ford dealerships and with a Ford Racing warranty. Speaking of Ford Racing, Mountune also says that it will be working with Ford's in-house team to develop future components for both street and track. There are no specifics as of yet for which products will be offered here, but the company plans to launch a US-specific website later this month with more information.
