1990 Mustang LX Convertible This Machine is Very Fast! The Car Has Been Professionally Built, and The Engine Has Been Balanced and Blueprinted, and Assembled with Only Quality Parts! It has also Been Professionaly Dyno Tuned! All work was Performed by Rollins Automotive in Gainesville Fla. Rollins is the Premier Speed Shop in the Gainesville area and they are Renowned for their Quality Work! The list of Parts and Work Performed on This Car is too lengthy to list here, but I'll include a partial list, and the receipts will be provided with the car! MSD Distributer, MSD 6BTM Boost Timing Management, 70 mm Throttle Body, Probe Forged Pistons, Speed Pro Piston Rings Trick Flow Intake Manifold, Paxton Novi Supercharger, 255 lph Fuel Pump, High Flow Ford Racing Radiator, High Flow Dual Fans, Ford Racing Gauges, Stage II Clutch, 3:73 Rear Gear Set, and the list goes on and on! You should pretty much get the picture by now! The Car has a Nice Top with a Glass Rear Window and no tears, The Interior is nice as well, again no rips or tears. The car has Euro Style Headlights and Taillights, the right taillight is missing it's cover, but a pair of stock taillights will be included in the sale. The car looks good from a distance, but when you get close up, the paint isn't great, with checking and peeling in some spots. The car also has a Lift Off Fiberglass Hood With a Scoop and Four Hood Pins! Ford looks back on 50 years of the Mustang in Detroit
Tue, 14 Jan 2014Ford has something special sitting in its booth here at the 2014 Detroit Auto Show. In fact, it brought two special somethings in the form of the Ford Mustang 1 Concept that first saw the light of day in 1962 and the very first production Mustang that rolled off the production line in 1964.
These classic creations are sharing floor space with the brand-new 2014 Mustang in honor of the pony car's 50th Anniversary. Since Ford's latest 'Stang already made its auto show debut (at a number of locations, including Los Angeles), we think it's pretty cool that the Blue Oval did something special for its home-town show.

Detroit automakers mulling helping DIA avoid bankruptcy looting
Tue, 13 May 2014It's not really a secret that the city of Detroit is in lots and lots of trouble. Even with an emergency manager working to guide it through bankruptcy, a number of the city's institutions remain in very serious danger. One of the most notable is the Detroit Institute of Arts, a 658,000-square-foot behemoth of art that counts works from Van Gogh, Picasso, Gauguin and Rembrandt (not to mention a version of Rodin's iconic "The Thinker," shown above) as part of its permanent collection.
Throughout the bankruptcy, the DIA has been under threat, with art enthusiasts, historians and fans of the museum concerned that its expansive collection - valued between $454 and $867 million by Christie's - could be sold by the city to help square its $18.5-billion debt.
Now, though, Detroit's hometown automakers could be set to step up and help save the renowned museum. According to a report from The Detroit News, the charitable arms of General Motors, Ford and Chrysler could be set to donate $25 million as part of a DIA-initiated campaign, called the "grand bargain." As part of the deal, the DIA would seek $100 million in corporate donations as part of a larger attempt at putting together an $816-million package that would be paid to city pension funds over 20 years. Such a move would protect the city's art collection from being sold off.

Those mind-blowing specs helped the Zombie 222 conquer the Texas Mile, setting the electric speed record at 174.2 miles per hour. "The Zombie 222 has been breaking electric records, said Medford.
