Car History:

I purchased this car in California from a multi-car owner with only 1800 miles.  Car has been in California and Arizona its short life.

Car has been garaged its whole life.  Washed, Clayed, and Waxed with Maquiar’s Gold Class Products

I purchased the car because I love the history of the Boss302 and to have a “Friday” car.  I have a full race car to race and a truck to daily drive.

Car is in fantastic condition.  Never wrecked and it has not seen rain since I’ve owned it.

Upgrades:  Everything easily reversible!  The stock parts have been retained as this is a collector’s car.

Performance: - Total Invested $2270

1.    Hawk HP+ brake pads - $250

2.    Ford Laguna Seca Brake ducts - $460 (From Laguna Seca Boss Mustang)

3.    Ford Laguna Seca Bolt-In transmission cooler scoop - $110 (From Laguna Seca Boss Mustang)

4.    Eibach Pro-Kit springs.  These really help the car feel planted and look better without beating you to death on the road.  Great mod!  I have the factory Boss springs of course!  - $250

5.    New Tires:  Bridgstone Pole-Position S-04s  285/35R19 all around(much better than stock).  Only 200 miles on the tires! $1200

6.    No Track Key!  I have the key but it is not programmed.  I wanted to, but got busy.

Aesthetic: - Total Invested $825

1.    Sound tube delete.  I have the original stuff and you can put it back on in 5 minutes.  You don’t need this droning cheesy device when you have side pipes and a 444HP Roadrunner Motor!

2.    Llumar Ceramic Pro Film.  Not dark, but the Ceramic keeps out the heat while still seeing out of it at night.  - $300

3.    Clear Bra on the front, sides, and first 6” of hood.  $525

First and only Mustang I’ve ever owned.  I love it.  The motor is sublime.  People looking at the stats don’t understand how quick this car is because of the gearing.  It is involving to drive.  It revs forever and pulls hard the whole way.   However, I lost my job and don’t need the cash tied up in it.   I am not desperate so don’t bother with low-balls.   I own the car free and clear.

This is a great example of a highly collectible car with tasteful, reversible modifications that enhance the Boss 302 experience without detracting from daily livability.

If you want a rare, well-maintained and preserved BOSS owned by a responsible adult, this is it!  Check my feedback.  I am a regular guy Ebay user, not a dealer.  What you see is what you get!

Trump did talk to Bill Ford, but the Kentucky plant was never moving to Mexico

Fri, Nov 18 2016

President-elect Donald J. Trump has been butting heads with Ford for a while now. A lot of it seems to stem from misunderstanding or misrepresenting facts about how the automaker currently does business and its plans for the future. After a sit-down with executive chairman Bill Ford Jr., the misunderstandings continue, but Trump has apparently convinced the company to make some changes. During his campaign, Trump claimed that Ford was going to fire US workers and move manufacturing to Mexico. That wasn't the case – yes, Ford planned to transfer Focus and C-Max production from Wayne, Michigan, to Cuautitlan, Mexico, but no, that wouldn't mean anyone losing their job. The Wayne plant will continue to operate, and likely busier than before, as it will be the home of the new Bronco and Ranger. So Ford CEO Mark Fields responded with the facts, and then chairman Bill Ford Jr. sat down with Trump over the summer. Things apparently weren't resolved to Trump's satisfaction, so he and Bill Ford spoke on the phone yesterday as he claims in this tweet: This content is hosted by a third party. To view it, please update your privacy preferences. Manage Settings. Let's pick that apart. First off, it's not a Lincoln plant, per se – the Louisville Assembly Plant currently builds the Ford Escape and Lincoln MKC, two small crossovers that share a platform. Ford was considering moving MKC production out of Kentucky to Mexico, but it would not have resulted in many lost jobs if any – the union had already agreed to moving the MKC in 2015 negotiations, and taking production of the slow-selling Lincoln out of the plant would open up capacity for more Fords. Be that as it may, Ford has decided not to move MKC production out of the plant, either for political reasons of placation or because it didn't make the greatest deal of business sense, maybe a combination of the two. That means Trump isn't really saving any American jobs in the short term. If anything, this move could keep Ford supply-constrained and result in reduced sales, which in turn brings the company less money and affects the bottom line and all employees. But that's speculation, so we won't tweet it. There is of course the possibility that Ford will be convinced, either by sheer will or by a more attractive trade situation, to invest in increased US production, which could bear fruit later on. We are told by Ford that the two men did in fact speak yesterday.

Ken Block ain't got a care about ruining his wheels

Tue, 22 Jan 2013

During a drifting session at Irwindale Speedway in California, Ken Block made a boo-boo that would send a number of drivers immediately back to the infield. But there's an answer to "What do you do when you bash the wall while drifting and your wheel explodes?" and there's completely different answer when the question begins with the phrase, "When you're Ken Block..."
Instead of us telling you how Block handled the calamity in his Ford Fiesta competition car, you can watch it happen in the video below. You can probably also guess what it is - but it's more fun to watch.

Ford bringing C-Max Solar Energi Concept to CES

Thu, 02 Jan 2014

Solar energy might not be enough to power a usable electric vehicle on its own, but that doesn't mean it can't lend a helping hand. And that's what Ford has in store for the Consumer Electronics Show opening next week in Las Vegas.
Ford has essentially taken its C-Max Energi plug-in hybrid and fitted it with the latest in solar panel technology developed by SunPower, acting like a magnifying glass to capture as much of the sun's energy as possible. So you get the benefit of an electric vehicle, with the range assurance of a hybrid, without needing to draw from the grid.
Ford estimates that a day of charging in the sunshine will give the C-Max Solar Energi concept the same full charge as the production PHEV, with a total range of 620 miles - 21 of which can be run on electric power alone. Otherwise the vehicle - which remains a concept for the time being - is identical to the existing C-Max Energi. The top-selling model in Ford's growing hybrid and electric vehicle portfolio helps put Ford just behind Toyota among the top seller of hybrids in America. Scope out the images in the gallery above and the video clip and press release below for a closer look.
