This list goes on.. Bought from the original owner. Have receipts for all of the upgrades. Not the typical Roush 427R, this car has 485 hp at the crank and DYNO tested at 401 hp at the wheels. Feel free to email if serious about this car and I can send over the video. All the work was professionally done at local pro-tune shops. A total of almost 80k in parts and labor invested in this car. Looking for a good home with a fellow Mustang lover. I have had this car for 3 years and have just put a few thousand miles on it in that time. This beauty has just been a jaw dropping garage queen. It is a non-smoker's car without a doubt and still smells brand new inside. Please email if you have specific questions, thanks! Frequently asked questions: Q: Does it require racing fuel? A: This car has 3 custom tunes and comes with the handheld programmer. This takes just a couple of minutes to change tunes. I keep the programmer with me as to do this on the fly to make the car more or less aggressive. The car runs just on premium fuel when programmed to the "Stock" or "Roush" tune. Only requires filling the methanol tank when programmed to "Meth tune" or (STRAP IN AND HOLD ON!! mode). It can be daily driven in any of these tunes and is PLENTY powerful tuned to the Roush settings. The methanol only costs about $25 per 5 gallon container and the on board tank in the trunk lasts about two gas tanks. As tuned to the "Roush tune" it can be driven without ever even using methanol if preferred. The methanol is just used to keep the engine cooler when the car is pushed to it's limits. It's not like Nitrous Oxide where it would put excessive wear on the engine. In fact, it is quite the opposite. Q: What does the car come with? A: This car comes with 3 full key sets (keys and remotes) and an aftermarket alarm remote. I also have the books for the car, information on all aftermarket parts, and a full set (of 4) brand new special order SSBC Brake Pads. Q: What about shipping? A: I sell $200k-300k cars for work that are primarily out of state clients and take care of shipping for them routinely. If you are not local or do not want to put the miles/wear on the car for transport, I can take care of that. The buyer would be responsible for the additional expense however. Q: Would you consider trades? A: I am not looking to trade even though some very nice cars have been offered. I am just looking to find a good home for my black beauty.

Facelifted Ford Focus caught testing in the cold

Wed, 18 Dec 2013

It's that time in the life of the Ford Focus to get a little work done - a nip-tuck here, some Botox there. Yes, Ford is testing a facelifted version of its global C-segment entry, which first hit markets in Europe and North America in May 2011.
Like the touchup on the Fiesta, expect Ford's gaping grille to make its first appearance on the Focus. Our spy photographers point out that this is likely to be a more comprehensive makeover than previous spy shots suggested, based on the additional camouflage seen here on the front and rear ends of this five-door model. New head and taillights are also likely in order, as are changes to the front and rear fascia.
The interior was also snapped and features a cleaner design with a larger central display. Other than that, it looks like some buttons have been changed, making us think most of the Focus' updates are limited to the exterior.

It's Official: Ford Names Mark Fields Its Next CEO

Thu, May 1 2014

Alan Mulally, the man who transformed Ford Motor Co. from a dysfunctional money-loser to a thriving company, will retire July 1 and be replaced by Mark Fields, the current chief operating officer. During his eight-year tenure at Ford, Mulally gambled all of the company's assets on a credit line that kept Ford out of bankruptcy, then used a simple "One Ford" plan to change the company's culture. He was hired away from aircraft maker Boeing Co. in 2006 by Bill Ford, who at the time was running the company. Fields, 53, has been in charge of Ford's daily operations since December of 2012 and was widely expected to one day ascend to the top job. The change in leadership is taking place about six months ahead of schedule, but Ford said that was based on Mulally's recommendation that the new leaders were ready. "Alan and I feel strongly that Mark and the entire leadership team are absolutely ready to lead Ford forward, and now is the time to begin the transition," Bill Ford said in a statement Thursday morning. Bill Ford, the company's executive chairman, is the great-grandson of company founder Henry Ford. Mulally, 68, was trained as an aeronautical engineer. He spent 36 years at Boeing - and was president of the company's commercial airplane division - when Bill Ford lured him to the struggling automaker eight years ago. Mulally overcame skepticism about being an outsider in the insular ranks of Detroit car guys by quickly pinpointing the reasons why Ford was losing billions each year. Mulally put a stop to the infighting that had paralyzed the company and instituted weekly management meetings where executives faced new levels of accountability and were encouraged to work together to solve problems. It took two years for Mulally to turn the company around, but since 2009, Ford has posted pretax profits of $34.5 billion and its shares have more than doubled. Fields was one of the executives passed over when Mulally got the top job in 2006. When he was named COO in 2012, Bill Ford said Fields' decision to stay at Ford and learn from Mulally showed a lot of fortitude and has made Fields a better leader. "There was a lot of speculation about whether he was capable. To his great credit, he stuck to it, he learned from it and showed tremendous fortitude in grinding through an incredibly difficult process," Bill Ford said. This marks the second change in leadership at the top of one of the Detroit automakers this year.

2021 Ford Raptor vs Ram TRX Specs Compared

Tue, Aug 31 2021

Hopefully by now you've had a chance to read our thorough 2021 Ford F-150 Raptor review. If not, check it out, 'cause you'll find a lot more detail and expertise than normal (for Autoblog or anywhere) thanks to Dan Edmunds' vast engineering and off-roading background. If you want all the dirt on the Raptor, pun intended, that's where to turn. If you just want to gaze at the specs, however, and wonder how they compare to the old Raptor or to the Ram TRX, check out the chart below. There you will find dimensions, clearances, angles, weights, capacities, engine output and fuel economy for the 2021 Raptor with both 35-inch and 37-inch tires. As Dan explains in his first drive, there's actually more going on there than just tire sizes. You'll find the same specs for the outgoing second-generation Raptor plus the 2021 Ram 1500 TRX and the less extreme Ram Rebel trim level in the chart, too.  Other reviews and deep dives about the F-150 and TRX 2021 Ram 1500 TRX First Drive Review Our review of the Raptor's chief competitor, the mighty TRX. That just sounds like we're talking about Jurassic Park.    2021 Ram TRX Suspension Deep Dive and RTI ramp test Follow along with engineer Dan Edmunds as he takes you under the TRX and explains everything there is to know about its suspension -- and how it's able to do what it does.    2021 Ford F-150 Full-Line Review   2021 Ford F-150 Suspension Deep Dive It's a totally different F-150 flavor to be sure, but even the volume-selling XLT received a lot of work for 2021. Dan Edmunds takes you underneath the truck to show you what's different and what difference it makes.    Photo Galleries of Each Truck 2021 Ford F-150 Raptor 2021 Ford F-150 Raptor View 16 Photos   2021 Ram 1500 TRX 2021 Ram 1500 TRX front 3/4 in motion View 53 Photos   Ram 1500 Rebel 2019 Ram 1500 Rebel View 42 Photos   Second-Generation Ford Raptor 2019 Ford F-150 Raptor View 37 Photos
