Hello All,

I have for offer a beautiful 1993 Ford Mustang GT.

I purchased this Mustang from a friend to help him out.
I have enjoyed driving it but I am selling it because I don't need two.

I have had several Mustangs and this one is very nice.

This Mustang is extremely clean.
Non-Smoker.
No Rust.
Runs & Drives Great.
Sounds great too.
Never been wrecked.
Always babied.
Always garaged.
Never seen snow.
Only the occasional rain shower when caught.
The suspension is nice and tight.
Steering is nice and tight.
Doors, hatch and hood close perfectly.
Original paint.
A/C blows nice and cold.
The underside is treated with under coating.
The tires look great and have plenty of tread.
There is a working spare and jack.
Wheels have locking lugs.
Tinted Windows.
Tinted Sun Roof.

This is a beautiful Mustang. Show ready.
It gets "a lot" looks where ever I go in it.

The only after market parts are:

Trick Flow upper & lower intake.
Polished cold air induction kit w/ K&N filter.
1 5/8" Unequal length headers.
2 1/2" Off Road H-Pipe.
Flow Master American Thunder 2-Chamber Mufflers.
Ford Motorsport Plug Wires.
1 year old battery.

This is a 20 year old car, thus not every thing is perfect.

I know of the following things:

Exterior:

* There are two small round dents in the hood (on the front and drivers front side).
They are extremely hard to see. I could not get them to show up in the pics.
On the passenger side of the hood there is a protruding dent. Like there was a screwdriver left
under the hood and it poked up into the hood. Again, hard to capture in the pics.
* There is very little bug damage to the front of the hood and bumper for its age. Looks great.
* The front rims clear coat is showing some wear. The back are better.
I did not notice any nicks in them.
* I did not notice any door dings on the sides.
*There is about an inch crack in the rear valance at the bottom on the drivers side.

Interior:

* Door locks work with key and finger push. The drivers & passengers door electric locks don't work. Fuse, wire ???
Radio does not work. I am looking into it.

Engine:

* Runs great.
* No lifter ticks. Purrs nice.

8/18/13 @ 79,371 Miles

* New MSD Cap & Rotor
* Changed Fuel Filter
* Changed Oil & Oil Filter
* Cleaned Throttle Body & EGR

I have already pulled the Carfax. So don't waste your $40.00
I will be glad to email you a copy.

At about 55,000 when the 3rd owner sold it, he/she accidentally checked the wrong box under the mileage.
Thus the Dept. of Motor Vehicles recorded the mileage as not accurate. I have looked into getting this corrected.
The process is a "Huge PITA" to get done. Thus I have left it. But, if you follow the mileage trail on  the Carfax
you know it is near impossible to drive 127,000 miles in two months.

This is the only flag on the Carfax.

I believe the mileage of 79,400 is accurate. That is just my opinion and only my opinion.
I have had several Fox Bodied Mustang as my experience.

Mileage Record as Per Carfax:

06/29/1993     21         Title Issued/Updated
07/26/1997     11,872   Title Issued/Updated
10/16/1999     28,008   Title Issued/Updated

12/02/2000     55,000    Loan/Lean Reported - Exceeds Mechanical Limits/100,000 Rollover
**This does not make any sense based on the mileage record.***

09/21/2001     56,082    Inspection
11/07/2001     56,095    Title Issued/Updated
08/14/2009     76,701    Dealer Offered Vehicle for Sale
08/17/2009     76,944    Title Issued/Updated
01/28/2010     77,657    Title Issued/Updated

Look at the car and you be the judge.

This is a beautiful Fox Mustang Gt.
A great Mustang from the past.
Great survivor.

Have fun and enjoy life.

Any questions please let me know.

Question of the Day: Worst year of the Malaise Era?

Thu, Jun 23 2016

The Malaise Era for cars in the United States spanned the 1973 through 1983 model years, and featured such abominations as a Corvette with just 205 horsepower (from the optional engine!) and MGBs with suspensions jacked way up to meet new headlight-height requirements. There were many low points throughout this gloomy period, of course. The horrifyingly low power and fuel-economy numbers for big V8s during the middle years of the Malaise Era make a strong case for 1974 or 1975— the years of Nixon's resignation and the Fall of Saigon, respectively— as the most Malaisey years. But then the GM-pummeling debacles of the Chevy Citation and Cadillac Cimarron could make an early-1980s year the low point. 1979, the year of the ignominious Chrysler bailout? You choose! Recharge Wrap-up: Ford HQ gets giant solar array, Chevy City Express gets 24 MPG city

Sat, Aug 16 2014

Ford will be building Michigan's largest solar array at its Dearborn headquarters. With funding from DTE Energy, the solar carport will provide covered parking, as well 30 charging stations for electric vehicles. The array is expected to generate 1.13 million kWh per year for Ford's operations, and offset 794 metric tons of carbon emissions. Read more in the press release below. Chevrolet announced the fuel economy for the 2015 City Express, at 25 mpg combined. The cargo van is rated at 24 mpg in the city, and 26 mpg on the highway. Chevy credits the van's inline four-cylinder engine and continuously variable transmission for its impressive city mileage. For its customers - which are mainly businesses - "The fuel economy of the City Express will help stretch their dollar at the pump and give them the flexibility to invest the savings back into their business," says Chevrolet's Ed Peper. The City Express starts at $22,950. Read more in the press release below. Engineers at the University of Wisconsin have developed an efficient engine that runs on a diesel-gas blend. The engine, which uses a computer to control the blend proportions, is about 15 percent more efficient than the any diesel engine according to mechanical engineering professor Rolf Reitz. The team has put the experimental reactivity controlled compression ignition (RCCI) engine in a demonstration car - a 2009 Saturn. "This vehicle can do 50 miles per gallon," says Reitz, who believes the system could be improved further. Read more at Wisconsin Public Radio. The Southeast Alternative Fuel Conference and Expo will take place in October in Raleigh, North Carolina. Held at the NC Clean Energy Technology Center from October 22-24, the event will feature a variety of exhibitors, speakers and, most importantly, alternatively powered vehicles. "The three day conference will be a one-stop shop for fleet and transportation related decision makers to learn about return on investment, efficiency and alternative transportation fuels such as biodiesel, electricity, ethanol, propane and natural gas," says Anne Tazewell of the NC Clean Energy Technology Center. If you can't make it to Raleigh for the Expo, you can still enter to win a free two-year lease of a Nissan Leaf at the Center's website. Learn more about the event in the press release, below.

Michigan museum offers Model T driving classes

Sun, 29 Dec 2013

Halfway between Detroit and Chicago, there is a car museum that gives visitors a unique level of interaction with antique cars. The Gilmore Car Museum in Hickory Corners, MI has a driver's training class to teach people of any age to learn how to drive a Ford Model T.
From the crank starter to the column-mounted throttle control, this driving school teaches people all there is to know about driving and operating a Model T. Each class lasts about two and a half hours and is only open to 18 students. There are ten sessions planned for 2014 - twice a day on May 3, June 22, July 22, August 23 and September 14. The class costs $95 (or $85 for members), and it also includes a tour of the museum's automobile collection.
In addition to this driving school, the museum has plenty of exhibits on the property, and it's open all but three days per year (Easter, Christmas and New Year's Day) with free admission for school field trips and active military. Be sure to check out the Gilmore Car Museum's website or visit them on Facebook for more info.
