FOR SALE IS A ONE OWNER 1990 FORD MUSTANG LX CONVERTIBLE 5.0 WITH ORIGINAL 32,532 MILES ON IT!!! IT IS A BLUE COLOR WITH WHITE LEATHER INTERIOR. THE CAR IS IN PRESTINE CONDITION. IT WAS OWNED BY AN ELDERLY PERSON, NEVER BEEN IN AN ACCIEDENT OR RACED. THIS CAR HAS MATCHING NUMBERS. I FOUND THIS CAR THROUGH CUSTOMER OF MINE, WHICH SHE TOLD ME THAT HER NEIGHBOR HAS THIS MUSTANG SITTING IN HIS BACKYARD WITH EXTREMELY LOW MILES ON IT AND THE OWNER IS IN A NURSING HOME. I LEFT A NOTE ON THE DOOR AND MONTHS LATER RECIEVED A RESPOND FROM OWNER'S NEPHEW. WHEN I SAW THE CAR AT FIRST I WAS SHOCKED HOW CLEAN THE CAR WAS! BUT, AS I MENTIONED BEFORE THE CAR WAS PARKED IN THE BACKYARD AND THE SUN DID ITS DAMAGE. THE CONVERTIBLE TOP AND SEATS WERE DRIED DOWN AND CRACKED, PAINT WAS FADED, AND TIRES WERE CRACKED DUE TO SITTING IN A LONG TIME. CAR HAD ABSOLUTELY NO SINGLE DOOR DING. AFTER I BOUGHT THE CAR, I REPLACED THE SEAT COVERS WITH GANUINE LEATHER FOR $1,100. REPLACED THE CONVERTIBLE TOP FOR $950. PAINTED THE CAR FOR $1,500. REPLACED THE ORIGINAL 10 SPOKE WHEELS WITH 16" WHITE PONY WHEELS FOR $400. PUT NEW TIRES ON IT FOR $330. CAR WAS ORIGINALLY AUTOMATIC AND I HAD IT CHANGED TO A MANUEL WITH A BRAND NEW CLUTCH SET AND REBUILD TRANSMISSION FOR $1,550. JOB WAS DONE BY A PROFESSIONAL MECHANIC. CAR DRIVES LIKE A CHAMP! IT IS CURRENTLY REGISTERED AS NONOPERATIONAL. UNFORTUNATELY DUE TO FINANCIAL PROBLEMS I HAVE TO LET IT GO. ;( I ALSO INCLUDED PICTURES OF THE CAR AT FIRST OWNERS BACKYARD. 2015 Ford Mustang specs revealed, GT to pack 435 HP

The 2015 Ford Mustang sounds great so far - at least on paper. Ford has just announced specs for the latest version of the iconic pony car in Dearborn, telling Autoblog that it will pump out as much as 435 horsepower and 400 pound-feet of torque from its 5.0-liter V8.
Those gaudy figures power the naturally aspirated GT model, and they easily eclipse the "more than" 420 hp and 390 lb-ft that Ford originally estimated.
The 2.3-liter turbocharged EcoBoost four-cylinder makes 310 hp and 320 lb-ft, and it's the first turbo Mustang since the 1986 SVO.

Official USPS Muscle Cars stamps coming to a mailbox near you

As much as our digital lives have cut down on our trips to the post office, there are still times that sending "snail mail" is necessary. With us car lovers in mind and philately in their hearts, the good folks at the United States Postal Service will introduce a new stamp design called "Muscle Cars" starting on February 22.
Designed by artist Tom Fritz, the new collection of stamps consist of five classic muscle cars: 1969 Dodge Charger Daytona, 1970 Chevrolet Chevelle SS, 1967 Shelby GT-500, 1966 Pontiac GTO and 1970 Plymouth Hemi 'Cuda. In addition to just the stamps, the USPS is also commemorating the new series with plenty of collectable memorabilia. Previous car-related stamps include 50s Sporty Cars from 2005 and 50s Fins and Chrome from 2008.

Formula Drift kicks off 11th season on Streets of Long Beach

The 2014 Formula Drift series kicked off last weekend in Long Beach, and saw Chris Forsberg, who you'll recall went mad and drifted around a warehouse in an Infiniti M, take the title behind the wheel of his Hankook Tire Nissan 370Z (shown above).
Forsberg really ran away with the first round of competition, outscoring his closest opponent, second-place finisher Kenneth Moen and his Bridges Racing Nissan 240SX, by 20 points. Third place was 2013 championship winner Michael Essa and his Yokohama BMW M3, 30.5 points behind Forsberg.
In the manufacturers' title, Nissan took an early lead with 122 points, which isn't a huge surprise considering five of the top ten drifters were piloting either a Z or a product of the brand's S platform. Ford, which had two drivers (Justin Pawlak and Vaughn Gittin, Jr.) in the top ten, took home second place, while BMW is currently third in the manufacturers' standings.
