I'm selling a 1926 Ford T Bucket. This car is full of new parts! It has a GM Performance Crate 350 with only 400 miles on it! It has a Muncie 4 Speed w/ an aftermarket scatter-shield and a 12 Bolt Rear Axle. It has a brand new electric fuel pump, newer chromed alternator, Wildwood adjustable proportioning valve, S.S. brake hoses, MSD ignition, finned aluminum valve covers and oil pan, rear coil over springs, an attractive, clean interior, all new fluids including oil, coolant and brake fluid, and a professional paint job!
The Paint is nice! The Purple with flames really draws attention. This car is extremely fast. It will roast the tires in 2nd gear! The motor has a gear drive on it, so the car sounds like it's supercharged. The chromed headers sound awesome too!
The car was recently purchased by me from a friend who couldn't finish it. It sat in his garage for about 5 years until I picked it up. My friend had over $15,000 into the car. I replaced the battery, built the interior, replaced the fuel pump and fluids, and sorted out a few issues. I need to make room for other projects and want to sell the car. It's ready for cruising and car shows. It's a real attention getter. Everyone loves to check it out. The shift linkage could use some adjustments, and you may find the brakes need fine tuning, but is otherwise a running, driving, fun car that's ready for cruise night. You could not build this car for the asking price. $9,000 firm. Please call Matt with any questions. 630-624-4242.

2013 Ford Fusion Hybrid
Mon, 01 Apr 2013Your Mileage May Vary
As difficult as it is to write this, I was actually excited about the 2013 Ford Fusion Hybrid. With the beautiful looks of the newest midsize fighter from Ford and a fuel economy estimate capable of shaming even the stalwart Camry Hybrid, the battery-augmented four-door seemed like a recipe for unabashed success. But appearances love nothing more than swapping our boundless enthusiasm for cold platters of disappointment. The 2013 Fusion Hybrid gets hobbled right out of the gate with a lofty price tag, and real-world driving keeps the sedan from even approaching those EPA figures.
With so many excellent midsize hybrids on the market, is there any reason to consider the newest Fusion Hybrid? Are sharp aesthetics, a well-executed interior and capable driving dynamics enough to overcome the machine's shortfalls? Not from where I'm standing.
Watch this lead sled go rallying in Finland
Thu, 19 Jun 2014Custom cars generally fit into neat little boxes in terms of how they are used. For example, you're unlikely to see a modded Corvette going rock crawling; it's just not what it's made for (though we bet it'd look awesome, for a minute). In the same way, chopped, channeled and customized '50s hot rods aren't really meant to go racing. They look great and go fast, but they are generally more cruisers than sports cars.
However, if this video is any indication, the people of Finland don't adhere in these stereotypes, because this rodder is happy to play in the dirt with his lead sled.
According to the video, the driver is a member of the Ford-Freak Club of Finland, and he clearly knows how to have some fun. Possibly inspired by his country's great rally drivers, he gets the tail way out going around this gently curving gravel track. The stunt is somewhat reminiscent of the stock cars races on the sand at Daytona Beach, and this is probably close to what it sounded like too. Scroll down to watch a very cool Finn getting his hot rod a little dirty.
Bronco, Yukon, Hummer and a CES recap | Autoblog Podcast #610
Fri, Jan 17 2020In this week's Autoblog Podcast, Editor-in-Chief Greg Migliore is joined by Consumer Editor Jeremy Korzeniewski and Assistant Editor Zac Palmer. They kick things off by talking about recent news, including the revival of the Hummer name as an electric pickup, revealing Ford Bronco spy shots and the unveiling of the 2021 GMC Yukon. Then Zac tells about his time in Las Vegas attending CES 2020. They talk about the cars they've been driving: a JCW-tuned Mini Clubman, the long-term Subaru Forester with its new gold wheels, a Volvo S60 PHEV that's been added to the long-term fleet, and a Camry Hybrid. Last, but not least, they help a listener decide how to spend his money on a sports car.
