I'm selling a 1926 Ford T Bucket. This car is full of new parts! It has a GM Performance Crate 350 with only 400 miles on it! It has a Muncie 4 Speed w/ an aftermarket scatter-shield and a 12 Bolt Rear Axle. It has a brand new electric fuel pump, newer chromed alternator, Wildwood adjustable proportioning valve, S.S. brake hoses, MSD ignition, finned aluminum valve covers and oil pan, rear coil over springs, an attractive, clean interior, all new fluids including oil, coolant and brake fluid, and a professional paint job!
The Paint is nice! The Purple with flames really draws attention. This car is extremely fast. It will roast the tires in 2nd gear! The motor has a gear drive on it, so the car sounds like it's supercharged. The chromed headers sound awesome too!
The car was recently purchased by me from a friend who couldn't finish it. It sat in his garage for about 5 years until I picked it up. My friend had over $15,000 into the car. I replaced the battery, built the interior, replaced the fuel pump and fluids, and sorted out a few issues. I need to make room for other projects and want to sell the car. It's ready for cruising and car shows. It's a real attention getter. Everyone loves to check it out. The shift linkage could use some adjustments, and you may find the brakes need fine tuning, but is otherwise a running, driving, fun car that's ready for cruise night. You could not build this car for the asking price. $9,000 firm. Please call Matt with any questions. 630-624-4242.

Recharge Wrap-up: BMW tests AdBlue pumps, Drivr is a Tesla taxi service
Thu, Jan 22 2015BMW is testing AdBlue pumps in Germany. AdBlue fluid is used to remove NOx from diesel exhaust, and it is stored in its own tank within the vehicle. Filling AdBlue is easy enough for drivers to do it themselves, and with the proliferation of diesel vehicles in Europe, a pump filling system could make more sense than using the current hand-held containers. BMW is testing AdBlue pumps at three fueling stations in Munich and Berlin to help develop further AdBlue dispenser technology. Read more at Green Car Congress. Drivr Green Personal Transportation is a Tesla taxi service in Cincinnati. Two former employees of Tesla Motors founded the startup, which bills itself alongside ride-hailing services like Uber and Lyft. Customers book a ride online, and are picked up by a Tesla Model S. The ride costs $2.50 per mile with a $15 minimum. Drivr currently operates three cars with seven drivers, with plans to lease another 10 Teslas and employ up to 30 drivers. The service will also be expanding to Denver soon, according to the website. Learn more at the Drivr website, or read more at Clean Technica. Ford is opening a research and development facility in Silicon Valley. The Ford Research & Innovation Center, which will be located less than three miles from Tesla Motors headquarters in Palo Alto, California, is expected to be one of the automotive industry's largest R&D facilities. "We're driving to be both a product and a mobility company, and ultimately to change the way the world moves," says Ford CEO Mark Fields. Read more at Automotive News. Law firms advising Fisker Automotive have been denied a $2.50-million fee enhancement in the car company's bankruptcy. Brown Rudnick LLP and Saul Ewing LLP were denied the extra fees, as a Delaware bankruptcy judge ruled there is "no evidence" that the firms provided anything more than what they originally expected. In denying the fee enhancement, the judge cited a "very high bar" for such awards. Read more at Law360. Ford reflects on radical Mustang concept that never reached showrooms
Tue, 25 Jun 2013The Ford Mustang that we all know and love made major waves in the auto industry way back in 1964 by offering style and reasonable pricing with optional V8 power. Its long hood and short rear deck, combined with a low-slung and sporty cockpit, made a lasting impression in the minds of consumers and car designers alike, and its basic shape has so endured the test of time that it's still in use today.
This being the case, you may be interested to know that the first Mustang of 1964.5 wasn't actually the first Mustang at all, being preceded by a concept car that made its public debut in 1962. This concept was nothing like the car that would eventually make it into production, with a radical wedge shape and a small V4 engine sitting behind the car's two occupants, driving the rear wheels. In other words, the conceptual Mustang was pretty much the complete opposite of the production Mustang besides the name.
Ford has kindly decided go through its massive archive to bring the original Mustang concept back into the public eye. The company goes so far as to pose this question to fans of the pony car: "Should we borrow a few of these style elements for the next iteration of the Mustang?" Check out our image gallery above and then let 'em know what you think in the Comments below.
