Up for sale is a 1926 Model T coupe Hot Rod, Rat Rod, Traditional or what have you. This vehical has no title ( I had to enter something up at the top, that's why it says "clear" title. Ebay rules !!!! ) I will provide a bill of sale. Again NO title. Now what we have here is a great start to an awsome Hot Rod ! Body of this car is in my opinion great shape for its age. No real rust anywhere, and looks really good. Interior is an older restoration but isn't too bad. I have a new top insert that comes with the sale and new headlinner. Body is not bolted to the frame, but is just setting on there for the time being. The frame is a 1923 Model tt truck frame that has been widened to contour with the body. If anyone knows anything about these frames they will know how stout they are. Motor is a 1949 8BA flathead ford that runs really good. ( could use wires cap and rotor ) But still runs good. Intake is an Offenhauser ( New ) with two Holley 94 carbs.Transmission is a top loader 3 speed out of a '65 mustang. Radiator is a Walker 4 core and was about $800 new. Front suspension is all new from Speedway Motors. 6" drop axle, with 11'' rotors ( disc brakes ) I have all new calipers and brake lines for the front. Rear suspension is new with Chrome coilover shocks and panhard bars. All new radius rods front and rear. Rear axle is a ford 9'', I have the third member for it, just not put in the car. It's a stock 3.25 open ratio. Tires on front are 5.60-15 and rears are 8.20-15 all Firestone and all NEW ! I have many parts to complete this project, including a steering column out of a '48 coupe ( Cross steering ) 5 extra carbs, Headlights, grill shell, an origianl 1940's-50's wolf whistle, etc. This is a project vehicle that I have a ton of money in. Needs finished and a new home. Please ask all questions as this item is sold as is. Payment due within 3 days of auction end by means of cash or certified check !! And picked up within 5 days. I have way more in this car than the starting price, if you start adding up the parts you'll see what I mean. The only reason I am selling it, is I have found another car I am interested in. I will try to answer all questions as soon as I can. This is an awsome project car !!!!!!! Please call me at 419-733-8233 for any questions or email me through ebay. Thanks so much for your time,

Jake

Ford Figo concept unveiled in India

Mon, 03 Feb 2014

Ford has officially unveiled the Figo Concept at the 2014 Auto Expo in New Delhi. While it may wear a concept badge, we'd argue this little sedan, which is under 12 feet long, looks ready to replace the current Figo and do battle with other B-segment cars in the world's emerging markets.
"With the Figo Concept, we are showing that choosing a compact sedan does not mean compromising on premium design or smart solutions," said Kumar Galhotra, Ford's VP of engineering, global product development. That premium design includes Ford's familial, trapezoidal grille and Fusion-esque headlights in front, while the rear end reminds us of the last-generation Focus Coupe. While that car wasn't exactly attractive, the chopped off tail looks pretty nice on this smaller car. And if you really don't like the looks of the Figo Concept, just remember - it looks better than the current production model. Aerodynamically, the Figo's shape is quite slippery, which means reduced wind noise and improved fuel economy.
As for the "smart solutions" touted by Galhotra, the narrow confines of Indian streets make driving even the tiniest cars a challenge. To give the Figo Concept a one-up on the competition, Ford has fitted power-folding mirrors that sport a "flexible architecture," which should stand up well to bumps from cars, people or bikes. We don't have any interior images, but Ford is promising a large cabin, that includes a dock that can accommodate a phone or MP3 player, allowing either to be controlled through the car.

2018 Ford Expedition vs other big SUVs: How it compares on paper

Fri, Nov 10 2017

With our Alex Kierstein rightly impressed in his first-drive review of the new 2018 Ford Expedition, we decided to dig a little deeper into the numbers, and we came up with the spreadsheet below to highlight how the new 2018 Expedition compares on paper to its main full-size SUV competitors: the 2018 Chevy Tahoe and Suburban (and therefore the 2018 GMC Yukon), 2018 Toyota Sequoia and 2018 Nissan Armada. We also threw in the new, even bigger 2018 Chevrolet Traverse since, as you'll see, its massive dimensions should put it on the radar for anyone who needs loads of passenger and cargo space but doesn't care as much about towing. A few notes about the chart above. First, the 6.2-liter V8 that's included with the new-for-2018 Tahoe RST trim level is the standard engine on the GMC Yukon Denali. You can apply most of the Tahoe's numbers to the entire Yukon and Yukon XL lineup. Second, though we highlighted categories where the Traverse led, we also highlighted the runner-up full-size SUV, since this was ultimately about that segment. Traverse numbers are broadly applicable to the new Buick Enclave. Ford exec reveals new F-150 Raptor packs 450 horsepower

Mon, Jan 26 2015

Between the new GT supercar, Shelby GT350R muscle car and F-150 Raptor off-roader, Ford had quite the array of performance machinery on display at the Detroit Auto Show earlier this month. One thing it didn't reveal about any of the three, however, is how much power they'd pack, but a senior executive at the Blue Oval automaker has reportedly let the cat out of the bag when it comes to the Raptor. During a televised interview during the Rolex 24 at Daytona this past weekend, Ford's product development chief Raj Nair is said to have revealed that the new F-150 Raptor will offer 450 horsepower. That's pretty impressive from a 3.5-liter turbocharged V6, and would put the new Raptor out ahead of the 411 hp produced by the 6.2-liter naturally aspirated V8 in the previous SVT Raptor. That doesn't give us the whole picture, though, because in a vehicle this big especially, torque will play a huge factor. The outgoing Raptor offered 424 pound-feet of twist, and the existing 3.5-liter EcoBoost engine is already producing 420 lb-ft – so it seems fairly safe to assume the new Raptor will eclipse those figures as well, but we'll have to wait for official word to find out for sure.
