For sale is a 1918 Model T Ford Roadster. This is a beautiful T-bucket! My Father and I built it for him as his personal play toy but he does not drive it as much as it just sits. (He too busy driving his 1948 Ford Pickup) So he has asked me to sell it. No expense was spared on building a quality, safe car when we put this one together. Starting with the frame it is a custom built unit with all stainless or grade 8 hardware. The finish is not painted it is all powder coated! The frame, axle, hairpins, and all other components are powder coated gloss black. This looks great and will last sooo much longer than paint! The wheels are vintage steel chrome with baby moons to give it nice nostalgic look and all are wrapped in new rubber. The braking system is a dual master cylinder with Airheart 4 piston discs in front and new 9 inch drums in the rear. Stops on a dime! The steering system is a new Vega box (not rebuilt) and steers wonderful. The rear axle is a 9 inch Ford with new gears and will cruise on the highway without wrapping up. New custom made balanced drive shaft. The transmission is a 350 Turbo unit that was taken to the bare case and rebuilt end to end. The Engine on this car is a NEW 350 Chevrolet engine. The edelbrock intake was also powder coated black and a new edelbrock 4 barrel carb added. The exhaust are Sanderson zoomies with baffles to be loud enough to thrill but not so loud you dont enjoy the ride. Custom aluminium radiator and steel grill shell painted gloss black. The Body is a California Custom fiberglass unit with an opening passenger door for easy entry and exit. Much better than having to climb onto the rear tire!! The Body itself was sanded and smoothed, primed and blocked again and the painted and buffed with a beautiful gloss black. The interior is a harley davidson grain vinal inside and on the bed cover. The battery and gas tank are inside the bed with room for a car show chair or two left over. Powder coated gas tank as well. All new wiring including fuse panel and all switches and lighting components. Third brake light on the back for safety. The windshield frame is a new chrome unit and tinted safety glass installed. The firewall is also a powder coated piece of aluminium for extra protection and wear! The car was given a Black Widow spider theme with the stencil on the radiator and red hourglass on the rear differential. I have tried to tell all I could remember about this car but if you have any questions please feel free to email me and I will answer right away. This is not your typical old T-Bucket but a true thing of beauty that I hope someone will get many years of pleasure out of. The reserve on this car is very fair for what the vehicle is and really the buy it now is a bargain as well! Please look and if you want to come see and test drive the car we encourage you to do so! Please do not bid unless you plan to buy the car, we are open about it and want you to be happy so if you need to see it first come look! Thanks for your interest and happy bidding!!

The history and future of the Ford Bronco
Tue, 17 Jun 2014
Some have suggested that the Bronco's demise was hastened by the fallout from the O.J. trial.
Twenty years ago today, ex-NFL linebacker Al "A.C." Cowlings drove his friend and onetime running back Orenthal James "O.J." Simpson on a parade lap of the Los Angeles highway system and onto an ignoble page of the history books. If you're in your late 20s or older, or a fastidious young student of 1990s American history, you're absolutely aware that Al and O.J.'s steed for the 'chase' was a white Ford Bronco. The white Ford Bronco, even.

Ford cranks up '32 Ford body production
Tue, 14 Jan 2014If you're going to build your own hot rod, you'll want to start with a '32 Ford 5-Window Coupe. Favored by American servicemen returning from World War II, the '32 Ford remains the very icon of the hot rod to this day. The trouble is there were only so many of them made in the first place, and finding one today can be a challenge. That's where reproduction models come in.
The aftermarket is replete with companies that will sell you a fiberglass body in the form of a '32 Ford coupe, but quality can be hit or miss. So to help meet demand among hot rod builders and enthusiasts, Ford has teamed up with United Pacific Industries to offer officially licensed body shells.
Announced at the SEMA show in November, the '32 Ford 5-Window Coupe body is made from stamped steel according to original specifications from original machinery where possible or reproduced machinery built to the same original specifications where necessary. The bodies are ready to accept vintage powertrains or crate motors from the Ford Racing catalog, and join the 9,000 other parts offered in the Ford Component Sales catalog - including similar reproduction bodies available for the 1965-70 Mustang and 1940 Ford Coupe. From there, the proverbial sky's the limit.
