It includes the car shell, an extra front passenger-side fender, extra trim pieces, gauge cluster, steering column, and both bumpers. It does not include a title, engine, transmission, interior, and most of the glass. Also, it does not have primer on it as it sits in a moisture-free storage unit! It doesn't have the 2 front tires, but I will throw in the wheel dollies to go with it so it can be moved around!!"

This is a 1965 Ford Falcon Futura 2-door coupe that has a 1964 grill on it! It was originally intended to be restored from the ground up so it has been sandblasted professionally down to the bare metal. It hasn't been primed for paint and has little rust on it as it's been inside a storage unit for the last few years. The pictures show the lack of rust on the surface after the sandblasting. It includes all trim pieces that came with the car and a few that I've purchased since owning the car! It includes an extra front passenger-side fender as seen in the pictures. It also includes both bumpers which are really rough and the steering column, gauge cluster, dash trim pieces, taillights, and obviously the doors, trunk lid, and the hood. IT does not include an engine, transmission, interior, or a title. I'm not going to lie to you about the floor boards or the trunk; they all need to be replaced!! This was considered when purchasing this car originally when I hadn't decided if I wanted a drag car or not. It was all going to be replaced anyway so they didn't need to be in good shape! The winner of the auction will also get to keep the wheel dollies I have on the front of the car to roll it around with. I'll throw in any extra parts that I haven't mentioned here or have forgotten about!

How and why Ford is rolling out Vignale in Europe

Wed, 09 Oct 2013

We know that Ford is positioning the new, upscale Vignale brand in Europe to fill a niche market of customers who want a bit more luxury, a lot more service and the same reliability and dependability that a non-Vignale Ford offers. But so far, we've been in the dark regarding how the Blue Oval will sell Vignale vehicles, how many of them will be created, and what the new sub-brand has in store for the future.
Gaetano Thorel, Ford's European marketing head, recently was interviewed by Automotive News and shared details about Ford Vignale. Thorel says, "The Vignale trim line will be priced like an ST model but attract a completely different type of customer." Specifically, he says it will attract customers in the upper 15 percent of the price band who don't want a performance-oriented ST model. He adds that Vignale cars will be about 10 percent more expensive than Titanium-trim cars. About 500 of Ford's European dealers will sell Vignale Fords, Thorel says, "in areas that make sense." The automaker expects 10 percent of its European sales to be Vignale cars, which equates to about 5 percent of its global sales. When asked if there are any other Vignale models planned beyond the Mondeo, Thorel said, "There is nothing written in stone yet."

Mulally to stay at Ford through end of 2014 at least

Fri, 06 Dec 2013

Alan Mulally isn't going anywhere... at least not just yet. The CEO who helped turn around Ford Motor Company has been linked to the top job at tech behemoth Microsoft, leading to a flurry of rumors about potential successors. Those rumors, though, may have just been put to rest - at least for a little while.
Speaking to Edsel Ford II (great-grandson of company founder Henry Ford) at the unveiling of the new Mustang, Automotive News Europe confirmed that Mulally would stick around until the end of next year. "Alan is staying through the end of 2014 and that's all I know," said Ford. "Frankly, he has told us that his plan is to stay with Ford through the end of 2014."
Presuming that Edsel Ford is correct and that Microsoft isn't so hot on Mulally that it saves the position for him, it seems increasingly likely that the 68-year-old exec is more interested in continuing to work in Dearborn rather than in Redmond.

Chevy Camaro is a good sport, wishes Ford Mustang Happy 50th

Tue, 15 Apr 2014

It was 1966 when Chevrolet launched its challenger to the wildly successful Ford Mustang, the Camaro. While the competition between the two brands was already healthy, the arrival of the Camaro set off one of the most intense, model-to-model rivalries in the industry.
That competitive spirit hasn't stopped Chevy and the Camaro from wishing Ford's iconic muscle car a Happy 50th Birthday as the Ford's April 17 anniversary rolls around. These two cars have been linked over the years, and while the rivalry took a break for a few years in the 2000s, today's competition between the Camaro and Mustang is as fierce as it's ever been.
You might recall that this friendliness when it comes to major milestones isn't too rare. Ford put on quite a display for General Motors' hundredth anniversary back in 2008. As the Camaro's fiftieth birthday approaches in 2016, we wouldn't be surprised to see the Mustang sending its best wishes to its Bowtie rival.
