05 Ford F-350 Powerstroke 4x4 with only 81k miles - needs work to be put back on the road, currently runs and yard drives.
Great foundation for your next work truck! 4x4, diesel, automatic trans, posi rear end. Frame and body structure in very good shape with a little surface rust on the frame.
Take a look at the pics - the frame, radiator support, spring perches and hangers are all solid. Truck has some dents and dings and will need a new front bumper
as its dented in. Truck bed solid but the bed floor has dents from being a work truck.
The truck starts right up and sounds good. Batteries are dead and may need to be replaced. Will start when I attach the jump packs.
Needs engine work - most likely a head gasket since it pushes coolant out the reservoir when hot. Oil has no coolant in it.
Originally purchased since I wanted to do a Cummins swap; but as we all know - too many projects!
The truck also has a broken main leaf in the passenger rear spring pack, so can't be driven until fixed. Will also need tires very soon as they are bald.
Interior very clean and it does have the factory installed brake controller.
Solid foundation for a great work truck or maybe a Cummins swap. Please ask any and all questions. I reserve the right to end the auction at any time due to the car being for sale locally.
Very reasonable reserve. Thank you.
F-350 is being sold as a running project that will need work, parts, and TLC before its ready for the road. Sold as is where is with no warrantly whatsoever.
Buyer must pick up vehicle within 7 days of auction close unless previously arranged.

Holy crime-fighting Ford F-150, Batman!
Thu, 18 Jul 2013What would Batman drive for his weekly trips to Home Depot for the bits and pieces needed to keep his lair deep below Wayne Manor in tip-top condition? Certainly not the Batmobile - there's no way a 4x8 sheet of plywood will fit between the wheel wells, not to mention the fact that jet turbine engines have an unfortunate tendency to set trailers on fire when towing...
No, what Batman needs is a pickup truck. The boys from Ford teamed up with Galpin Auto Sports to build just such a machine, and it has just debuted at Comic Con. Designed by Jared Barris, grandson of the legendary kustomizer George Barris, the 2012 F-150 pickup you see here, dubbed Crime Fighter, is painted Tuxedo Black with Ferrari Red highlights and is affixed with fins on each side of the truck bed. It's nothing if not unique.
Well, it's at least unique for now. According to Ford, Galpin in Southern California is willing to take orders for customers looking to don a cape and hit the town for a night of crime-fighting action. Or trips to Home Depot. Check out our high-res image gallery and then scroll down for the official description from Ford. We're waiting for details such as pricing and build time from Ford, and we'll update this post if and when we hear back.

Question of the Day: Most degraded car name?
Fri, May 27 2016When Ford came up with a not-so-sporty version of the Pinto and slapped Mustang badges on it in 1974, that was a low point for the Mustang name. When Chrysler applied the venerable Town & Country name on perfectly functional but unglamorous minivans, it saddened many of us. But perhaps the biggest demotion for a once-proud model came when, in 1988, General Motors imported a misery-enhancing Daewoo from Korea and called it the Pontiac LeMans. The original Pontiac LeMans was a great-looking midsize car with fairly advanced (for the time) suspension design and engine options including potent V8s and a screaming overhead-cam straight-six. The Daewoo-based Pontiac LeMans was a cramped, shoddy hooptie that served only to ruin the LeMans name forever, while stealing sales from the Suzuki-based Chevrolet Sprint. Sure, using the once-respected Monterey name on the Mercurized Ford Freestar was bad, but Mercury didn't have long to live at that point. I say the downward spiral of the LeMans name was the most agonizing in automotive history. What do you think? Related Video: This content is hosted by a third party.
