2008 Ford F-250 Super Duty Lariat Crew Cab Pickup 4-door 6.4l Diesel on 2040-cars
|
2008 Ford F-250 4X4 Lariat. It has the 6.4 liter Diesel engine. Stock truck never any tuners put on it. Truck is very clean with only a few dings. Truck has lariat package which includes leather power front seats, power windows and locks, power folding mirrors, CD player with steering wheel controls. 4WD works as it should. Has like new tires. High pressure fuel pump was replaced about 6 months ago, also the rearend has just been rebuilt (had a bad pinion bearing). Truck has a spray in bedliner, with a gooseneck hitch in it. Only thing wrong with the truck is the drivers seat is starting show some wear, and the keyless entry keypad on drivers door isn't working. Other than that its very reliable, and a very good looking truck. I bought this truck a little over a rear ago with some front end damage. Truck should not have had a salvage title issued on it. It was very minor damage, no frame damage and no airbag deployment. I had it fixed at a reputable shop that has a lifetime warranty on repairs. I had the truck inspected by the state and they issued a rebuilt title on it. Title looks just like any other title. Only reason for selling is I am trying to build a house and need to free up some money. Included are pictures of the alignment sheet and the damage prior to repairs. Feel free to ask any questions that you have!! |

Is Tesla's next project an F-150 competitor? [w/poll]
Wed, 13 Nov 2013What's the future look like for Tesla after it launches the Model X CUV and possibly a smaller, sub-Model S sedan? Would you believe a pickup truck? Yes, Tesla could be looking to use its EV know-how to take the fight to Ford and the F-150, based on comments made by company founder Elon Musk.
"If you're trying to replace the most gasoline miles driven, you have to look at what people are buying," Musk said during an impromptu Q&A session following a speech at Business Insider's Ignition conference. "[The F-150 is] the best selling car in America. If people are voting that's their car, then that's the car we have to deliver."
And while the idea of electric pickup may sound kind of absurd to some, Musk makes a very valid point - if Tesla's goal is to replace gas miles with electrical miles, it simply can't afford to ignore pickups.
Ford Fusion getting substantial refresh for 2017
Wed, 13 Aug 2014It's only been a couple of years since Ford rolled out the current Fusion, but if these spy shots are anything to go by, it's already planning what appears to be a substantial update for the mid-size sedan.
According to our paparazzi on the ground, the new Fusion is being prepared for launch late in 2016 or early 2017. Although heavily camouflaged to keep it from prying eyes such as ours, it appears that the updated Fusion will tone down the Aston Martin-style grille, ditch the small corner window with revised front side glass and tweak the vehicle's overall shape. But there's more to the new Fusion than a styling adjustment, and our spy photographers have caught a glimpse inside and taken us along.
Apparently the new Fusion is to get a completely overhauled interior with soft-touch surfaces and matte wood trim to make it seem more upscale. There's an all-new rotary gear selector (like you'd find on a Jaguar, for example) hinting at the implementation of a new nine-speed automatic transmission. The prototype appears to be packing the Microsoft SYNC system, suggesting that the new Blackberry QNX system isn't ready quite yet - though that doesn't necessarily mean it won't be ready by the time the new Fusion is.
Ford acquires Livio to bolster connectivity biz
Thu, 26 Sep 2013Ford Motor Company has announced the acquisition of Livio, a Ferndale, MI-based software development company best known for aftermarket in-car connectivity devices, but also as a supplier of technology for proprietary systems for automakers. Livio, co-founded by Sigal and Massimo Baldini, will be a wholly owned subsidiary of Ford Global Technologies.
"With the additional expertise Livio provides us, Ford intends to continue to lead the next generation of in-car connectivity with technology advancements that give consumers more options to access their devices on the go," said Paul Mascarenas, chief technical officer and vice president, Ford Research and Innovation, in a statement.
Ford is clearly trying to beef up its in-house tech capability around telematics and device connectivity. While the Blue Oval has been a leader in these areas with SYNC and MyFord Touch in terms of getting the systems into as many cars as possible, the execution of the applications have been criticized for glitches.
