This auction is for my 2003 Ford F-250 Super Duty 5.4L V8 Extended Cab Work Truck...
This is a great truck and has served me well. My wife and I own a small auto hauling business and we have used this truck to pull a single car trailer for hot-shotting the cars in congested areas where our larger trucks cannot easily get to.
It runs and drives great! The A/C blows cold, the tranny shifts flawlessly, and the engine pulls like new with plenty of power.
I purchased this truck from a construction company that I worked for and I know it was well-maintained. It has 223,000 miles, but don't let the high miles fool you - the transmission was rebuilt in 2011 and the engine was overhauled in 2010. Since I bought it I've replaced the front shocks, new brakes, the tires are in good shape, all wheel bearings replaced, and I have had the oil changed every 3,000 miles. Also, I installed a tow package. There are NO LEAKS at all anywhere on this truck. It drives nicely, quietly, and smoothly.
There is a lot of miles left in this truck and it will serve the new owner well whether it is for work or personal use.
*$500 non-refundable deposit via PayPal within 24 hours of auction end. the remainder to be paid at delivery or pick up.

NOTE: This truck is also for sale locally. I reserve the right to end this auction at any time if the truck should sell prior to auction's end.

Exceptionally rare '65 Ford GT40 Roadster prototype up for auction
Sat, 14 Jun 2014Think of mid-engined supercars and your mind is bound to gravitate towards Europe, but the United States has been known to make a handful from time to time - exceptional vehicles from the likes of Vector, SSC, Mosler, Hennessey, and Saleen. But long before any of those came around, Ford famously became obsessed with beating Ferrari at its own game, leading to the development of the iconic GT40.
The story is well known, sending Ford to the checkered flag at Le Mans four times in a row in the late 1960s. Ford and Shelby also built over 100 for public consumption, but just four of them were roadsters. Of those only one remains in original condition, and now that exceedingly rare example going up for auction.
Consigned to RM Auctions for its mid-August sale during Pebble Beach weekend in Monterey, California, this 1965 model is the first GT40 Roadster built. It was used as a development and demonstration vehicle for Ford and Shelby. Carroll Shelby himself drove Henry Ford II in this very car during one of many test and demo events, this time held for Ford's board of directors in Los Angeles.
Xcar celebrates 100-year anniversary with Model T tribute
Fri, Jan 9 2015Never mind the fact that XCar hasn't been making videos for the last 100 years, the British duo have gone all silent-moving-pictures in order to make their centenary case for the Ford Model T, a car that was already seven years old in 1915. It's not a review, but a mostly sepia-tinged look at the car that started the mass-market adventure by taking that biblical advice to be fruitful and multiply and populate the Earth abundantly. Since it looks like Xcar is celebrating some kind of milestone, we've also included another video below of the first Xcar review we could find, covering the BMW M1, from the much more recent past - circa 2012.
Ford pits Cobra Jet versus GRC Fiesta ST, worlds collide
Thu, 31 Oct 2013Racing takes on many forms in the automotive world. There are sanctioned events that are as varied and diverse as NASCAR, Formula One, Global Rallycross and drag racing, and to be good enough to win competitively in one discipline, you need to have a specialized vehicle. Or do you?
Ford decided to find out what would happen when its Global Rallycross Fiesta ST, driven by Tanner Foust, lined up against its Mustang Cobra Jet drag racer, driven by Roy Hill. In one lane, Tanner has just 2.0 liters of displacement to work with, while Roy has more than double that, at 5.0 liters. Evening the playing field a bit, Tanner has a massive turbocharger and all-wheel drive; Roy has to filter all his supercharged power through the rear wheels only.
So, who wins? We suggest you see for yourself in the press release and video below. And we're holding out hope that Tanner's challenge at the end results in another video from Ford Racing...
