1996 F250 7.3 Powerstroke !!! Do I need To say more?! THE most sought after Diesel Ford ever used!!!
This is a solid 4x2, XL Longbed truck with 226k miles!! No power windows, tilt, cruise, locks, or even carpet!!
But a CCold a/c, Automatic, rubber floormatted pullin machine!!! Allways in the South. No rust in, on, or under, ever. never even been repainted. No quick little paint cover up !!! Only a few small dings in the body. Never had a hitch in the bed!! Only used to carry standard toolboxes and pull an occasional trailer. Startin to reconsider sellin!!!! No she has to go to new home where she can be appreciated now, I just don't drive her much anymore.
Within last few years (and I have ALL receipts if you want them) she's had a new water pump, glow plugs, fuel pump, alternator, belt and hoses, 2 batteries, & I'm sure I'm forgetting something, but my point is that I aint ridin around in no junk!!! If it brakes or looks like it might it gets fixed!!!! Only thing I know she needs is front tires, they have wear on the outside edge, you can drive it, no threads are showing but they will need replacing. I thought about going ahead and doing it, but some folks like Goodyears, some Michilens, Coopers, Etc. So I figured it's best to take a little less for truck and let buyer choose there own tires. I can email more pics if needed.
As is where is, no warranty. No shipping. $200 deposit within 24 hrs of auction end. CASH only.
Thanks and God Bless!!Please keep our armed forces and there families in your prayers. And Thank them for all they do!!

Ford blamed in drug mule lawsuit
Tue, 30 Jul 2013If a college student is caught smuggling drugs across the border, one might think the kid got what was coming to him. But when a Mexican student at the University of Texas in El Paso was caught by Border Patrol agents with duffel bags filled with marijuana in his trunk, the man used a classic excuse: He claimed they weren't his.
While a claim like that is almost unbelievable, Ricardo Magallanes, the student, is now suing Ford for handling its vehicles' key codes negligently enough to allow drug smugglers to break into his Ford Focus and stash the drugs, The Daily Caller reports. The twist here is that four other people who lived in Juarez and worked in El Paso were involved in the same type of scheme - allegedly unwittingly, just like Magallanes - and all the cars were Fords except one model from General Motors. FBI agents also found an employee at a Dallas Ford dealership that had accessed the key codes to all four of the cannabis-stuffed Fords.
While we all may not own Fords, the case still causes us slight paranoia. We'll definitely be checking our trunks before we cross any more international borders.

Does the new 2015 Ford Mustang have a burnout control system?
Tue, 10 Dec 2013Whether it's lane departure warning, blind-spot monitoring or automatic emergency braking, most of the electronic systems we see emerging on new vehicles focus on safety. But there are some there just for enthusiasts. We're talking about systems like automatic throttle blipping for perfect downshifts, or launch control to get that textbook acceleration from a standstill. But the latest system could prove just the opposite of the latter.
Although it has given us most of the details, Ford is still keeping certain elements of its new Mustang secret. But emerging reports may have the skinny on one system which Ford is trying is darnedest to keep under its hat for the time being. That, according to unnamed sources cited by Motor Authority, is burnout control.
The system is reportedly designed to help novices execute the perfect smokey burnout - sort of like launch control, but specifically the opposite. The system could, according to elaborative speculation, lock the front brakes while spooling up the engine to optimal revolutions before dumping (or indicating the driver to do dump) the clutch. A cloud of tire smoke and a long pair of skid marks would then ensue.
