1965 Ford F100 Pickups with the Twin I Beam Independent Suspension - Built to last longer with two front axles to share the roughest abuse.

Here is your chance to own a true piece of Americana. My husband aquired this truck on a trade and we don't have the time or money to give it the attention it needs. When we got this truck brought it home and put some fresh gas in, primed it, and it fired right up. Truck runs and drives great, much better than I ever expected, and it is very fun to drive. By looking at this truck, you would not beleive how good it runs.The truck has only minimal rust, and the floor pans are solid. Truck needs complete restoration. The VIN says truck came out with a 292, but according to my husband, it has a 302. So, at some time the engine has been replaced. It has headers and probably a small cam and has plenty of power.

Over all I would say this truck is in fair to good condition. I have taken plenty of pictures and some video from when we first started it, which can be viewed on Photobucket at http://s1344.photobucket.com/albums/p645/Brittany_Nicholson_Root/1965 . I tried to depict the worst of the worst in the pictures so you would have a good idea of what you are getting. Carmakers, NHTSA to unveil auto-emergency braking agreement tomorrow

Happy St. Patrick's Day Eve. Tomorrow, there will be green beer, corned beef and cabbage, and automatic emergency braking for all. Weird combo, we know. But on St. Patty's we can expect an official announcement from a pact of automakers making auto-braking systems standard equipment by 2022. That's per a report from Reuters, which cites three sources familiar with the plans. Originally announced in September 2015 by 10 automakers and the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, the agreement is expected to be even larger when the details are unveiled tomorrow. According to Reuters, the manufacturers of 99 percent of the US domestic market's vehicles will be represented by the new agreement. It's believed that standard AEB systems could prevent thousands of accidents across the country. Expect more on the official announcement when it's made. Related Video:

Toyota, Ford and Honda again top Consumer Reports Car-Brand Perception Survey

Consumer Reports has released its annual Car-Brand Perception Survey, and the list looks awfully familiar. The top six brands are identical to last year's results, with Toyota, Ford and Honda continuing to occupy the podium. All told, Toyota walked away with 133 points, putting it 15 ahead of second-place Ford. Honda jumped 26 points this year, narrowing Ford's lead to just four points in total.
Consumer Reports polls buyers from across the country on how they see multiple brands in seven categories, including quality, safety, value, performance, design/style, technology/innovation and environmentally friendly/green. Researchers then combine the findings to come up with the total brand score.
While value and performance remain important to buyers, CR found quality and safety are still on top when it comes to significance. Scion and Mitsubishi found themselves at the bottom of the pack with the worst score of all, tied at just six points. Ram, Fiat and Mini filled out the lowest five with scores of seven, eight and 10 points, respectively.
