Hi, your looking at a nice 1956 f100 Big window project that was started from the frame up, This isn't a show truck and my intention was to built a very nice hot rod truck and drive it.Unfortunaly, couldnt finish it due to no time . I'll try to best describe it since a lot has been done to it.

Frame: Boxed from radiator crossmember to rear shock crossmember using 3/16 metal. C-notched the rear with tube bars across for better support. Mustang 2 front end with new heavy duty motor mounts with polyurethane inserts, welded and smoothed. New: upper and lower tubular a arms, power rack and pinion, drilled n slotted rotors, 2" dropped spindles, calipers with brake hoses. 8.8 Ford Explorer rearend with 3.73 posi and new rotors. New 69-70 mustang gas tank in bed. Has 2' lowering blocks with new u bolts.Custm made tranny mount from 32' roaster. The front has no coilover or airbag setup since I haven't decided which I wanted but it's holded up using a  round tube pipe, easy to remove once jacked up.

Motor: 396 bored .040 over with forged crankshaft, new pistons, harmonic balancer, water pump, roller rockers, 049 heads, isky camshaft, etc..This motor came out of a 69 camaro and its freshly rebuilt with no miles. Th400 tranny with about 5k on rebuilt. New Griffen aluminum radiator,

The body is really in nice shape. I got the cab from somebody that already had started on it and i never did anything to it. All 4 cab corners are solid and nice except for the rear passenger side which has few small dents..easy fix. None of them has been replaced, no rust. Floors are solid, rain gutters and top of cab is awesome. Someone had welded the cowl vent shut but not complete and mirrors door holes smoothed. Inner fender brackets is bend due to someone wanted a full tilt frontend but i have new ones to go with it. Has front and rear glass with stainless trim(all there with clips), needs polishing. Front fenders and rear fenders has been media blasted, front fenders almost done but rear fenders need some work but in nice shape. Has new Dan Carpenter bed with ends filled up n stake pockets filled for a nice clean look. Got a nice tailgate with little work to be done. New Dan Carpenter running boards. Hood is in very good shape. I have the metal crossbars for the bed.

New: front and rear bumper, grille with stainless turn signal housing, rear stainless brake lights, stainless tailgate hinges, have stainless latches but not on, front and rear windshield weatherstripping, door weatherstripping. The wheels are new wheel vintiques  with black powdercoated. New Coker whitewalls radial tires..

I'm sure im forgetting something since there's lots of new stuff on this truck. What you see in the pics is what you get. I have a bill of sale with it and the vin tag is on the door. I'm not responsible for this truck once it leaves my property. It is sold as it, where is with no written imperfections. You can come and see this truck in person if you like. Im not afraid to show it. Im a pretty picky person and want only the best for it but just not into show truck or cars. My plan was to paint it black or silver with red interior and drive it for fun.$500.00 deposit due at end of auction and paid in full in 7 days. Cashiers check or cash in person preferred. Once I get money in bank, truck is yours. Please email me with any questions. Good luck bidding..

I forgot I had a heavy duty rear 4 link coilover set up. Its very very similar to the no limit set up. So, it goes with the truck. I have pic of it if u need it.

Hennessey completes first VelociRaptor SUV conversion [w/video]

Mon, 20 May 2013

Start with a Ford F-150 SVT Raptor as your base vehicle for modification, and chances are high that you'll end up with something pretty cool. Now, have those modifications done by professional lunatics Hennessey Performance, make the project turning the pickup into an ultra-long SUV, and the result stands a real chance of being a total kick in the ass. Let us present the Hennessey VelociRaptor then, in all of its awesomeness.
Hennessey has taken care in grafting a "Expedition style" rear cabin onto the Raptor, complete with an optional third row. The pictures we have show a cabin that's up to the fit and finish standards of the original Ford truck, too. The cab added over the bed also makes room for a massive load space out back, accessible via split out-folding doors and long enough for a person to lay down in (see video).
Mechanically, the truck-turned-SUV sticks with Ford's stock 6.2-liter V8, rated at 411 horsepower, or can be had with a supercharger and some 600 hp. Hennessey says the stock-motor VelociRaptor will run from 0-60 miles per hour in 7.5 seconds, while the hi-po version takes just 5.9 seconds. The SUV does take some of the off-road ability away from the Raptor, with the company saying it hasn't yet had the opportunity to test its capabilities. On-roading and "moderate off-road duties" are the current prescription.

Full-size trucks are the best and worst vehicles in America

Thu, Apr 28 2022

You don’t need me to tell you that Americans love pickup trucks. And the bigger the truck, the more likely it seems to be seen as an object of desire. Monthly and yearly sales charts are something of a broken record; track one is the Ford F-Series, followed by the Chevy Silverado, RamÂ’s line of haulers, and somewhere not far down the line, the GMC Sierra. The big Japanese players fall in place a bit further below — not that thereÂ’s anything wrong with a hundred thousand Toyota Tundra sales — and one-size-smaller trucks like the Toyota Tacoma, Ford Ranger and Chevy Colorado have proven awfully popular, too. Along with their sales numbers, the average cost of new trucks has similarly been on the rise. Now, I donÂ’t pretend to have the right to tell people what they should or shouldnÂ’t buy with their own money. But I just canÂ’t wrap my head around why a growing number of Americans are choosing to spend huge sums of money on super luxurious pickup trucks. Let me first say I do understand the appeal. People like nice things, after all. I know I do. I myself am willing to spend way more than the average American on all sorts of discretionary things, from wine and liquor to cameras and lenses. IÂ’ve even spent my own money on vehicles that I donÂ’t need but want anyway. A certain vintage VW camper van certainly qualifies. I also currently own a big, inefficient SUV with a 454-cubic-inch big block V8. So if your answer to the question IÂ’m posing here is that youÂ’re willing to pay the better part of a hundred grand on a chromed-out and leather-lined pickup simply because you want to, then by all means — not that you need my permission — go buy one. The part I donÂ’t understand is this: Why wouldn't you, as a rational person, rather split your garage in half? On one side would sit a nice car that is quiet, rides and handles equally well and gets above average fuel mileage. Maybe it has a few hundred gasoline-fueled horsepower, or heck, maybe itÂ’s electric. On the other side (or even outside) is parked a decent pickup truck. One that can tow 10,000 pounds, haul something near a ton in the bed, and has all the goodies most Americans want in their cars, like cruise control, power windows and locks, keyless entry, and a decent infotainment screen.

Ford Transit Skyliner Concept is a Gulfstream for the road

Sat, 12 Apr 2014

If you are afraid to fly or just want to arrive at your ultimate destination in absolute comfort, then the Ford Transit Skyliner concept might be the perfect vehicle for you. Built by Galpin Auto Sports and based on a 2015 Transit, the van is basically a private jet on wheels. It even has a touch of Transformers about it with the ability to switch between four modes by pressing a button in a smartphone app.
Based on the long wheelbase, high-roof model with 487 cubic feet of cargo space and 6 feet, 9.5 inches of interior height, the Skyliner has movable captains chairs that shift around among four modes. In theater mode, the seats turn and recline to face a 52-inch retractable movie screen with 7.2 surround sound. For business, a motorized table unfolds, and the chairs gather around it. There is a mode for tailgating where the door opens four-feet wide, and, when traveling, passengers can recline back with footrests that extend for maximum comfort.
To make the ride even plusher, there is a satellite and media server to meet your entertainment needs, and there is even a built-in bar in the back. If this Ford had a bathroom, you could live in it. Of course, you would need to hire a driver to enjoy all the amenities in the back.
