We are offering for sale, a 2005 1 owner(2 Same Family Member Owned) Florida Title and driven Expedition Eddie Bauer/King Ranch. As you will see in the pictures this car was bought on the west coast of Florida and driven on the highway to northern Florida since day 1. We come across this vehicle when the previous owner exchanged it for a brand new same car and were able to get all detailed information about the vehicle. As we always do, prior to offering the vehicle for sale, we had one of our managers drive the car and the following is what information we can share with you:
The car drives and shifts extremely smoothly the prior owner has replaced the tires with rims and the tires are about a few months old, and we can strongly claim they have over 80% Tread left on them. It seems the prior owners were non smokers, the car does not need air freshener it has seats for 8-9 people. The 3rd row seats are foldable front/back with the touch of a button. This is a florida car, there is absolutely NO RUST on this vehicle. As a matter of fact according to the previous owner they never left the state of florida with this vehicle. The car has front and rear A/C and heating, with automatic climate control. All the windows and side/electric mirrors are in good working condition. When we asked the prior owner about the custom rims he claimed to have paid an excess of 1500 just for the rims alone. Since we are next door to a ford dealer(This is where we buy most of our used cars) we have had them do a full checkup and oil change prior to offering the car for sale to consumers. (Receipt and all original books are in the glove compartment) Please be advised that you are buying this car from a Dealer, which means we are insured and bonded. Over 50% of the vehicles we sell, are shipped to other states or sometimes other countries. Also be advised that we have done our best to check the vehicle including driving it, so that we may share with you any positive and negative feedback about the vehicle. Since the car is made out of a thousand plus parts it is physically impossible for us to cover everything that can go wrong with the vehicles,( including but not limited to fuses, lights, etc)things that can be good today and bad tomorrow. As I stated earlier we have driven every car we offer on Ebay before we offer it, and our primary concerns, are usually including making sure the car drives good, the transmission shifts OK, the front/rear lights, windows and other electronics are in working condition meaning we have done our due diligence. Upon winning the car, you can fly down and drive the vehicle to your destination or we will help you with shipping arrangements, and the following are examples for the last 30 days as far as some shipping prices (this was before gas was $4 a gallon) - Michigan, Wisconsin, Ohio and Illinois- around $400-500 - New York, New Jersey, Northeastern states- around $500-600 - Georgia, the Carolina- around $200-350 - Southern California, Texas- about $600-950 - North Dakota- around $900 The above will give you an idea of the approximate shipping costs. We do not have our own shipping company, but rather use a dispatch who will list the shipping destination and what the seller is willing to pay on the multi-shipping company list. Unlike other companies, we do not make any money by referring you to any certain shipping company, and instead we find you the most discounted rate. We have tried to take as many pictures as possible from all angles, however if you need additional pictures, simply email or call BJ our sales manager at (727)-992-3000. We are proud of our reputation and we will do our best to deliver a great quality car to you. Please understand that you are buying a USED CAR meaning, per Florida law, this is an AS-IS sale. We urge you, if you have time after winning the auction, please fly down, drive the car and enjoy the Florida weather. |

Ford recalling nearly 24,000 Focus EV and C-Max models over door chime
Fri, 04 Oct 2013Ford will be voluntarily recalling 23,830 Focus Electric and C-Max Hybrid and Energi models equipped with push-button ignition, according to The Detroit News. Why? Because the cars don't make a noise when the driver's door is open, and are therefore in violation of federal regulations. It's not as silly as Honda's badging recall that isn't a recall, but it's close.
Actually, that's not exactly fair. The chime is supposed to come on when the driver's door is open, as it reminds drivers not to leave their cars on or leave key fobs in the car, an easy thing to forget when the cars in question make virtually no noise at idle and do not require keys in ignitions.
The recall, which Ford is conducting voluntarily, covers 2012 and 2013 Focus Electric hatchbacks and 2013 C-Max Hybrid and Energi models. The overwhelming majority, around 22,900 units, were sold in the US, while the remaining 900 units are in Canada. How many of each model are covered in the recall is not immediately clear.
TX officer allegedly lets 140-mph street racer go with a warning [w/poll]
Tue, 26 Aug 2014Being pulled over by the police is one of the most nerve-racking situations that a driver can go through, and it's even worse when you know that the officer has you dead to rights for speeding well over the posted limit. In this video, the driver of a heavily modified Ford Mustang with a claimed 966 horsepower at the rear wheels could have easily lost his ride for doing triple-digit speeds and street racing, but a friendly Texas police officer appears to send him on his way with a simple warning.
What's more, the driver in question wasn't just speeding - his Mustang was the camera car for a bunch of rolling street races in the wee hours of the morning on a Texas highway. The driver was more than willing to mix it up in the action, too. Eventually the cops catch on and pick the 'Stang to pull over, but not before the Ford owner runs a claimed 140 mph. With only audio to go on after the car is pulled over, the police officer seems incredibly nonchalant about catching someone who was so brazenly breaking the law. Incredibly, the patrolman actually tells the driver that he's seen everyone racing tonight but ignored them. With traffic picking up, the cop says that it's time to "cut it out" and go home for the night. As far as this video shows, that was the end of it.
Warning: There is explicit, not-safe-for-work language in the video below.
‘American Auto’ fires on most cylinders
Tue, Dec 14 2021If you like cars or you enjoyed “Superstore” then “American Auto” is worth your time. NBC previewed the punchy sitcom last night ahead of the series premiere Jan. 4, and it offers a humorous take on the U.S. auto industry as seen through the team at fictional Payne Motors. Overseen by Justin Spitzer, the creator of “Superstore” and a producer on “The Office,” the two episodes that dropped Monday show Payne executives trying to navigate the challenges of the modern auto business. “Saturday Night Live” alum Ana Gasteyer stars as a pharmaceutical exec turned Payne CEO. The cast also includes Harriet Dyer as stressed-out PR boss, Sadie; Tye White as Jack, a factory worker who gets promoted to the C-suite; and former “Superstore” cast member Jon Barinholtz as the company scion, Wesley, who has no job responsibilities and is employed because of his name. The cast also includes X Mayo, Michael Benjamin Washington and Humphrey Ker as executives. This content is hosted by a third party. To view it, please update your privacy preferences. Manage Settings. Autoblog -- thatÂ’s us -- gets name-checked early in the second episode (2:37 into the show) for "our" critical take on GasteyerÂ’s introduction of the Payne Ponderosa, a car the company scrambled to build in time for its auto show reveal. GasteyerÂ’s CEO character walks in on a meeting between Sadie and Jack -- their budding romance appears to be part of the story arc -- and blurts out “Autoblog says hasty HastingsÂ’ premature launch,” apparently a reference to a headline that pans the Ponderosa. Looking at the cartoonish wagon-like thing, itÂ’s well-earned criticism. Perhaps the writers know of us -- weÂ’ve been around for nearly 18 years and are read by millions each month -- or thought ‘AutoblogÂ’ sounded like a good name for a car website. Either way. The pilot is centered on the Ponderosa and its troubled development (the first version of the car ran over people). Episode 2 features a Ponderosa Magellan van being used by a serial killer in a police chase. Titled “White Van,” the episode is obviously reminiscent of O.J. SimpsonÂ’s 1994 chase in a white Ford Bronco. ThereÂ’s also some Michigan references, which help to set the scene. One character has a Wayne State degree on the wall and the Magellan flees on Interstate 94, which runs through the state.
