Ford E-series Van E350 on 2040-cars
Pringle, South Dakota, United States

This 1-ton E350 is a 3-owner van and it is in excellent condition . Periodically used a handful of times since 2011 as a toy hauler. It starts up great with no smoke, no blow by when warm...sounds like a Semi-Tactor. Nice crisp power all the way through the RPM band and the transmission shifts great. Undercarriage is showing its age. Cosmetically this van is very nice n shinny. It does have a few door dings and tiny scratches and stone chips but overall the paint shines very well and it has a great appearance. All glass is nice with no damage. Dash is nice, rubber floor is all in good shape underneath carpet, the headliner is carpeted as well. All the interior options are working including, power windows and locks, cruise, radio and A/C is very cold. Disability Cargo Equipped. Notice how the cargo lift folds in-half for side-entry. Get in and drive this van anywhere.

Project Ugly Horse: Part VII
Fri, 12 Apr 2013Devils, Details and Weight Reduction
There are many things I could call this exercise. A party is not one of them.
I've spent three days crammed in the axle well of this 1989 Mustang with nothing to keep me company beyond a trouble light, a DeWalt drill on the very last of its legs and billion razor sharp, red hot slivers of metal with an affinity for my most sensitive of regions. My joints are raw from crawling around on the concrete. I'm half deaf from the shriek of the spot weld cutter and the boom of the cold chisel and hammer.

Toyota, Ford and Honda again top Consumer Reports Car-Brand Perception Survey
Fri, 01 Feb 2013Consumer Reports has released its annual Car-Brand Perception Survey, and the list looks awfully familiar. The top six brands are identical to last year's results, with Toyota, Ford and Honda continuing to occupy the podium. All told, Toyota walked away with 133 points, putting it 15 ahead of second-place Ford. Honda jumped 26 points this year, narrowing Ford's lead to just four points in total.
Consumer Reports polls buyers from across the country on how they see multiple brands in seven categories, including quality, safety, value, performance, design/style, technology/innovation and environmentally friendly/green. Researchers then combine the findings to come up with the total brand score.
While value and performance remain important to buyers, CR found quality and safety are still on top when it comes to significance. Scion and Mitsubishi found themselves at the bottom of the pack with the worst score of all, tied at just six points. Ram, Fiat and Mini filled out the lowest five with scores of seven, eight and 10 points, respectively.
